No. Tzepesh is too big of a frenemy to Dushan to try and kill him for real estate. You're welcome to have a sleepover at his for a couple centuries though. His huntings dogs are a sight to see.
If you want your own castle then there's a small keep in Carpathian mountains and a nice spacious fort at the shore near Dubrovnik.

Or you can study architecture, make connections, earn mad dosh and build a castle anywhere you want by yourself. Dushan is fair and even-handed.

Hey, if there are vampires who rule the world from the shadows and possess immense wealth and influence then all the big wigs of mortal world certainly matter if not for the specific things well deal with in this specific RP then for cohesion of setting as whole. In my opinion it would be best to start with plain vampires, i think it would be better if the world got enhanced later on, after the first background layers have been set, otherwise RPs get easily chaotic
