Serenity Youngblood

A sigh left the the light skinned females lips as she struggled slightly to her straight brown hair to have some curl to it normally. Her dark green eyes rolled at her image in the mirror however, this was not working and she was running late for meeting her friends. With a shake of the head she just abandoned that idea and put it up into a ponty tail before slipping the dark blue dress she had laid out for tonight on. Finishing with her makeup, Serenity smiled at herself in the mirror. It wasn't exactly the look she was going for but oh well, it would work.

Grabbing her purse on her way out, she made her way to the little store were her group had agreed to meet. "About time!" One of her friends shouted loudly as she came into sight, getting a few looks by passers by, and laughs from the three other girls waiting for Serenity and she couldn't help the smile that even spread across her face. "Last one buys the drinks, your rule." She rolled her eyes. "That just counts for you, April." She replied back, though honestly, she would still be the one to buy drinks laster tonight anyway.

Soon they started to make their way to the part of town with the bars and parade, not that the stupid tourists, they made the usually cluttered streets even harder to get through. Not to mention with no cars allowed on the parade route, there ready wasn't a around them either, so she and her group was forced to weave around them, all while trying to stay together. "I swear this gets harder every year. As if there isn't enough humans here as it is." Serenity said as they came to a stop waiting to cross the street. Almost as if he heard what she said some random person they had just passed came up, asking how long this holiday took.

She could almost feel the dirty look she gave him on her face as she did it. Without even bothering to answer him, she slightly crossed the street. "Stupid tourists." She muttered under her breath before yelling for April to come on. She ready didn't want to leave her behind with the longed hair weirdo. As they got closer to the main parties and bars she started to absentmindedly keep an eye out for Calvin.

He was undoubtedly here somewhere, causing drama with his friends more than likely. He hated humans more than her after all. Plus April had a thing for one of his dorky little friends, so she might as well offer for them to join them. The small group of guys weren't hard to spot really, playing pranks on the humans, and though honestly it was funny to watch, she rolled her eyes as they got closer. Before she really had a chance to get all big sistery, which she kind of loved to do honestly, one of the girls in her group used her magic to pants the guy left of her brother.

Serenity laughed a little bit putting two fingers in her mouth and making a loud whistling sound, the other girls laughing around her. Even a few humans that saw it laughed quietly. "Come on, bro. Don't you have something better to do than pick on the sheep?"

Dominic Phillips

New Orleans, it had been years since he was last here, so it seemed only to make sense to return in the middle of the biggest party in town. Made it even easier to find prey when the streets were just crawling with drunk humans. That really didn't have the sense too think twice before following someone into a dark alley way. Such senseless creature, it almost was sad, somehow the humans had gotten stupider.

The tall tan skinned vampire with long dark brown hair stepped out of the alleyway wiping his mouth as his gray eyes looked around for only a moment, before heading towards the sound of the crowded streets. The cheering and music filling the back streets he was standing in now. The parade was much more colorful then the last time he had been here, the parade floats gliding down the street, the hoots and hollars filling the air around him. The women on the balcony flashing the crowds yelling about beads.

Dominic shook his head as he looked down the street to see the crowd was only getting thicker. His head turned to look at a rather loud group of girls walked part him. "How long does this last now?" He asked pulling the leader of the group to him however, the brunette simply gave him a dirty look as she kept walking another answering his question. "It lasts about two weeks." She answered before catching up with her group as the first girl muttered something about stupid tourist.

Dominic frowned a little to himself, while this was a good source for prey, this was a lot of noise as well. He found his eyes forcing on something else however, and he started to follow in the same direction as the group of girls.

Bryce Flores

The bar was crowded, though what else could really be expected on Mardi Gras? In the far corner near the bar a woman with long dark brown wavy hair and a dark green dress stood with two or three guys and another girl. Her eyes closed as she moved slightly with the music playing loudly, the two or three sets of Mardi Gras beads around her neck that swayed with her movements. Her dark chocolate eyes opened slowly as the song came to an end, and she took a sip of her drink as she looked at one of the guys that had been watching her before turning back to the group she was there with.

If there was one thing that Bryce enjoyed, it was a good party or at least a chance to relax a little. She didn't seem to get the time very often since she took place as a Beta female a few years ago. The fact that a few members where out with her made it a little better as well, after all the one and only thing that was bad about parties were the fact there were so many people that she didn't know.

"Only you could make that sugar rush of a drink look good, Bry." One of the guys said with a wink, making Bryce look down at the grasshopper in her hand for a moment before rolling her eyes.

"I know you can't think that was a good line, Elliott." She said as she looked back up at him, the other guys at the table laughing, as Elliott gave her a look, which she ignored. Honestly she didn't care though, it was a horrible come on, and she let her eyes sweep over the crowd slowly trying to figure out if she knew anyone in this bar. Though she didn't see anyone right off and she sighed a little as she had been hoping a little to spot someone else she knew.

Bryce shook her head a little taking a sip of her drink before the other girl at the table, Scarlett, grabbed a hold of her hand, urging her to come and dance with her. She had to admit though that drancing with her had to be more fun then with the guys. Especially Elliott who seemed to think she wanted his hands all over her while dancing. She grabbed her drink and downed the rest of it before getting up.

"Please figure out a way to get Elliott laid or something. Like really man even smells desperate." Bryce said looking at one of the other guys who laughed and nodded before she headed towards the dance floor with Scarlett. She waved through the large crowd onto the dance floor with Scarlett for a few seconds before giving up on finding a good spot and making one themselves.

Kaidan Bailey

Kaiden grabbed his jacket, keys, and his cellphone as he headed out of his apartment, he was planning to meet up with a few of his non hunter friends tonight. Possibly get some food, go to the bar, and enjoy the parade tonight. It seemed like forever still he had a day without having to deal with hunter business. He had only just gotten in the elevator as the phone in his jeans vibrated, and he couldn't help but frown to himself, not wanting to look at his phone. With a sigh he pulled his phone out of his pocket glancing down at thee text message that was sent to him and the othersa of the group.

From: LT
Sorry guys, gonna ruin your night. The meeting has been moved up to tonight. Meet me at the headquarters within the next hour.

Of course, he didn't know why he even expected less LT couldn't need a meeting schedule for the life of him. Part of him wanted to keep his plans tonight and pretend that he didn't get the text message. Though knowing his luck LT was using a tracker on the message that told who looked at it. As the elevator come to a stop in the parking lot, he pulled is phone out texting Natalya.

To: Nat
You think he would notice if I just didn't show up?
......
You want me to pick up since I'm headed that way?

Kaiden shook his head a little bit sending a message to his friends that he had to cancel plans before putting his phone away and starting up his car.

Calvin Youngblood // Warlock

The streets of New Orleans was filled with tourists for the special mini holiday known as Mardi Gras. People from all over the states and some from around the country have come to the state just to celebrate the holiday and then leave to go back to their other lives. It honestly made Calvin sick to his stomach and that's why he needed to have fun tonight. He called up some of his male coven buddies and told them to meet him within the French Quarter. Calvin rose up from his seated position and called out for Serenity. There was no answer so he didn't even bother to try again as he just shrugged his shoulders and waltzed through the front door of their home, making sure it was locked before he made his trek towards the French Quarter.

Once he arrived, his buddies, Cody and Kevin, were there waiting for them. He greeted them whenever he reached them and sneered at a tourist that walked past them. A look of disgust plastered Calvin's face as Cody along with Kevin looked at him with raised brows. "Dude, you okay?" Cody asked him as Calvin turned towards the duo before with a slight smirk. "Tourists coming to our town and thinking they own the place. Having fun in our streets." Before Calvin went on, he shuddered then eyed Cody and Kevin again.

"It makes me sick, to be honest." Calvin continued as Cody and Kevin nodded their heads in agreement. Another smirk came over Calvin's face as Cody and Kevin smirked, too. "Let's have some fun, shall we?" Once Calvin spoke those words, he started a trek towards a group of tourists and used his telekinesis to unbutton the guy's pants, until they fell down and the girl's blouse until it busted wide open. A police officer was on the street and he took them to the side and started talking with them.

"That was so wrong, Calvin." Cody mentioned but played a few jokes, himself along with Kevin. Calvin and the other two guys with him continuously played villainous jokes on the tourists until Kevin pants fell down, causing him to fall. Calvin eyes fell towards Kevin as he turned around and saw Serenity, along with her two followers and couldn't help but to smile.

Hearing Serenity's question, Calvin nodded his head and turned towards his beloved sister. "At this very moment, nope. But they day is still young." Calvin responded as he eyed her two followers then gazed back towards her. "What do you have planned, sis? Anything besides watching chick flicks and eating ice cream?" Cody and Kevin laughed at Calvin, who was seen smirking towards his sister with his arms folded over his chest. It was an asshole move but Calvin knew Serenity was going to retort viciously.

Shelby Watson // Vampire

It was finally Mardi Gras and Shelby couldn't be any happier. Instead of feeding off of the worthless scum within New Orleans, she get to feed off on tourists. Shelby hardly even feed just for the fun of it but she needed human blood to survive, so it was much more of a need and not a want. Within the confides of her home, all the curtains was closed until she placed on her ring, which was charmed and made her able to walk in the sunlight. Inside of her home, she opened up the curtain and her eyes peered down at the people below. Her tongue licked over her lips as she saw many potential humans, or victims, that she could feed off of.

With a smile, she lowered her head and turned heel, walking over towards her closet as her eyes scanned over her many, many clothing options. She didn't really know whether she wanted to go elegance or something a little bit slutty just so she could get a pair of beads. At the thought, she chuckled to herself and decided to go with something provided a slight mixture. A black dress, which came down just above her knees and black heels to match. Though, not really wanting to reveal the goods, she threw a beige trench coat over herself and tied it up, along with buttoning up some buttons.

Shelby reviewed herself over in the mirror then let her hair down, leaving it a bit unkempt. She was impressed with her choice of dress and turned another heel to walk inside of her living area, a cold stare coming from her master and lover, Mitchell. "Oh, don't even look at me like that." She said. "I'll bring you back a treat, too." Shelby continued as she continued to walk and eventually made it out of the door and looked out before her. A simple inhale and exhale made her cough as she cleared her throat then looked around before she started to make a trek towards the place where everyone would be present.

As she continuously waltzed her body through the crowded streets of New Orleans, she caught sight of a group of witches and warlocks conversing with one another. The witches were off limits to herself and Marcus because long ago, witches were their friends and still are till this day. Shelby raised her hand up and offered a small wave towards the group, she even smiled brightly towards the group, as well. Once that little transaction was over, she lowered her head down for a brief moment before she bumped into what felt like a brick wall. Her eyes fluttered up as she stammered over her words, trying to apologize but the person she bumped into came into perspective.

"Dominic." She gasped and took a few steps back before running past him and not even looking back. Shelby met Dominic a long time ago, and while they were once lovers, it seemed like they were now enemies since they were now apart of separate vampire covens. Shelby couldn't really think about that now, she had other and bigger fish to fry.

Derek Hall // Beta Werewolf

The French Quarter Bar & Grill was hustling and bustling, filled with many locals and tourists, alike. Derek, who was working as a cashier and bartender for the day, loved it whenever it was busy as it made the time go by faster. His eyes went over many people as he made drinks, took orders and accepted tips. Mardi Gras always brought an uncertain amount of business to the bar and grill and why wouldn't it since it sat right on the corner of the French Quarter.

As soon as people were satisfied, fed and close to being drunk, Derek leaned against the counter and let out a small breath. A group of girls came up to the counter and attempted to flirt with him but he wasn't really in the mood. He just asked for their order but they were about to flash him their breasts and Derek leaned down, grabbing the hose and sprayed them. The girls screamed and ran away as Derek shouted. "This is a family environment in the day time!"

Everyone's eyes fell upon him as his boss, Mr. Raymond, came over towards him and took him to take a break. Derek didn't even act reluctant or hesitate as he walked past Mr. Raymond and out of the restaurant. Growling softly to himself, he knew he had to calm down before he transformed but he almost lost it whenever a hand was placed upon his shoulder. But the touch was very knowing to his senses as it was his Alpha, Lucille - Yes, a female Alpha.

"My dear Derek. Losing it at work again?" Lucille's voice chimed as Derek lowered his head while speaking. "Yes and I am sorry." Derek responded as she shook her head, smiling a little. "It's fine but next time, I won't be so gentle. Now, you are going to the Mardi Gras parade, right?" Derek nodded his head as Lucille let go of his shoulder and started to walk away. Derek walked back into the restaurant as he picked up an unfamiliar scent. The stench made him cringe as he couldn't bare it.

Derek looked at a group of girls and guys and that's where the stench was most heavy. 'Witches.' Derek thought as he went behind the counter but not really taking his eyes off of the witches.

Natyla Scott // Hunter

Nestled in a cocoon of blankets, which shaped a rather slender female figure, not even a peep could be heard within the home. Everything was quiet and nicely put together but that was until her phone chimed loudly and ruined her sleep. Muddy brown eyes fluttered open as she removed the blankets from her body and stretched then reached over, grabbing her phone off of her nightstand and reading the message from LT.

She let out a small groan as she sat her phone back down and got out of her bed, making it up and sorted the array of pillows to her liking. From there, she showered and got dressed, quickly. Her moist locks of hair trailed down her to the middle of her back as she picked up her cell phone again, which chimed in her hands. It was from Kaiden and for some reason, a blush came over her face and she couldn't help but smile. After she read his message, she tapped her phone against her chin, deep in thought as she wondered if she should play a small joke on Kaiden, or not.

To: Kai
Sure. I will be there shortly.

She sent the message then grabbed her car keys and was out of the door in what seemed like a flash. Once in her car, Charlie XCX's hit song "Boom Clap" started to play as she shook her head and turned the radio off. It was seemingly likely for Nat and Kai to be together, since it is what everyone wants. Natayla didn't know but she did like Kaiden but didn't want to make the first move. If Kaiden was to ask her out, she would definitely say yes in a heartbeat.

With the thought in the back of her mind, Natalya made it over towards the area where Kaiden was and pulled up beside him, rolling down her window and smiling towards the male hunter. "Hey there. Going my way?" She let out a soft chuckle and unlocked the doors for him to get inside her car. Once Kaiden was inside the car, her eyes would turn to him as she smiled again. "Can you believe LT? Making us go to some stupid meeting on Mardi Gras. I have every intention on skipping the meeting and going to the parade, anyway."

It wasn't like Natalya to speak like that but she had plans to go to the parade this year since she missed it every other year. She just wanted to go to at least one and at least want to know what it felt like to experience one. "Don't judge me but I never been to a parade." Her tone was a little sad there but it was definitely the truth.
