"How about this, Renia and I, with Donny, will go to the city, find out whatever the hell is happening,and see if we can get back home, while you guys stay in the house and... do whatever you want to I guess." Odum said, looking around the room, he could resist overhearing, "Try figure out more of your 'power' things, whatever."and then finally looking at Renia for a second, then rurning toward Donny, "So, when shall we depart?" He asked, with a britsh voice at depart.

Naomi looks at Odum then with a smile says

The first rule of adventuring is to never let the party split up more than the distance it takes for the slowest to travel two turns. I know this is reality but the rule is meant as a practical one. Each of us has unique abilities that may prove useful to the party, take Lucas's abilities as a Ranger and Elf; as we pass through the less civilized lands he can scout ahead for us. Then there is Tawny who is quite obviously a Beastmaster who can control animals, very useful on a world where animals are the major form of transport.

"She's got a point there." Lucas said. "We should stick together, at least until we learn enough about this world to warrant going on our own. We could end up unknowingly insulting nobility or run into bandits."

[Sewer Rat]

"Fine," he says, " And you're such a kiss ass, Lucas,"

"Better than being just an ass." Lucas spat back, venom in his words, as he is now sick of Odum at this point, seeming to always ruin his moments with Naomi.

Odum had went to reach for his gun, but caught himself, he knew this was a bad thing to do, and, he needed to get the groups trust. He narrowed his eyes at the boy, and walked out the house. To vent, he shot multiple of things with his gun, then it quickly turned from trees to animals, his vision blurred in Blood lust, then, it cleared, he looked in horror as there were animals, dead, all around him. He was in the middle of the forest, and then, hearing a nostril flare of an animal, he turned to see....

[Zaphander]

“You sure do make a lot of noise don’t you? Scared off all the animals a mile around.”

Sitting on a log behind Odum was a pale looking woman with white hair. She seemed cheerful and curious.

“Haven’t seen one of those in a while. Looks more complex then the usual boomsticks I’ve seen. Where’s you find it?”

Like most ego-driven personalities of the male cast Odum seemed to forget Naomi herself possibly believing the stick she held was for support and not a weapon; had his finger even tensed slightly on the trigger of the weapon he clearly thought of drawing she would have shown him how slow he truly was.

She didn't try to stop him when he stomped outside and showed how short a distance he'd traveled on the road to maturity by wasting ammunition in a display of butthurt. Then he showed her his sociopathic budding serial killer self killing animals in a display of weakness a sure sign he was not to be trusted.

Odum was breathing hard, then looked behind himself, "What the..." He stared at the women, then scoffed, gaining composure. " And who are you supposed to be, some werid tree lady or somethin'?" He chuckled at the thought, then looked at her.

[Zaphander]

“Tree lady? Nah, far from it. Just a traveling smith who decided to follow death and destruction.”

The lady picked up half a dead rabbit that Odum had killed. It wasn’t a clean kill as the thing was still breathing, or perhaps that was just muscle spasms. Either way she put the rabbit and the rest of the dead animals into a bag for her to eat later. And there were a lot of dead animals.

“They say a weapon reflects the warrior. Does that make you dangerous random creatures and prone to going off at the slightest twitch?”

The woman chuckled as she grabbed her things and left the forest. She was eager to try to make herself a weapon like his, now that she saw it up close. All she needed was some materials and a place to work.

[Sewer Rat]

Odum, knowing he couldn't be seen with the group, deiced to follow her, "Oi! Lemme go with you... I seem to be in a real pickle.."

Donny just signed and shook his head. He honestly wasn't surprised at the turn of events. Nobles or not, these kids were obviously granted powers they didn't have the knowledge or maturity to handle. Like noble children. His horse was spooked took and Donny had to reign her in as quickly as he could, but she was bucking now. "Alright, looks like we gotta go now! Calm down girl, calm down!" Donny tried to get his mare to settle before she suddenly went off. Hopefully, the others were on before they were left behind.

[Zaphander]

The woman turned to Odum with an inquisitive look. She seemed genuinely curious at his request.

“Oh? And why should a complete stranger want the company of another complete stranger? Besides, you seem like a dangerous fellow.”

She patted the bloodied bag of animal parts on his back.

“You didn’t exactly kill these things because you were hunting. You just killed them out of shortsighted anger. Why, if I didn’t know any better, I was a bit worried that you might’ve just shot me without a care in the world.”

The woman turned back around and started walking, but then stopped. “Well... I suppose the roads have been lonely. However I still can’t travel with someone I can’t trust. So how about this: prove that you’re a good, loyal sort of person.”

[Sewer Rat]

"Now that," He said, "Is something I could do, how do I prove this trust?" As he followed her then looking back on the house, he hoped he wouldn't see those again, ashamed for his actions.

The woman smiled, extending her hand outward to Odum.

“Give me your weapon.”

[Sewer Rat]

His face fell, then laughed nervously, "S-Say that again?" He managed to stutter out, what was he doing?! It felt like giving up his weapon was like giving away a baby.

Tawny had heard the conversation escalate into the harsh exchange of words. The gunshots that followed startled her as well as Ash who bolted up, growling fiercely.

"Ash! No!" She snapped, putting firm hand on the wolf.

She then let out a long sigh of frustration. She knew Odum could be well, Odum, but he could have just ignored Lucas instead of insulting him. Lucas' response shocked her. The shy boy blowing up was something she thought she would never see. Why now of all times? Their current situation was probably doing something to them psychologically.

She looked towards the forest where Odum had gone. "What a child. We need to find him before he gets himself hurt."

He hardly deserved their concern right now, but as part of their group, he was still their responsibility, especially in a strange new land where none of them knew what was going on.

She turned to the horse, and then to Donny. "Let me try to calm it."

Naomi pulled out her pipe once more this time taking two long tokes before returning it to her pocket

I know some of us are having a difficult time adjusting, and some were born prats but that boy needs lithium.

I am tempted to test his sanity by only speaking to you in the choos, sweet nicknames, baby talk and the full lolly. It is obvious that our friendship is a thorn to his well being.

He fails also to consider my part in this as if I were an object in his feud with you and is he ever so wrong for I too am involved, that I will not be ignored She smiles and her voice firm without anger but her head is wreathed in chakra flames her eyes the color of hammered gold.

I have to move him to untrustworthy and the most likely to get busted by the constables, maybe hunted by the thieves guild or the Wizards of such and such . I only pray that his final actions do not reflect too much upon us. the fires quench and her siren expression returns.

Lucas had also seen Odum reach for his gun, which surprised him. However, he was also ready to grab his bow at a moment's notice and fire a magic arrow at him to defend himself. When Odum stormed off, Lucas let out the breath he didn't even realize he was holding and turned to Naomi. "I fear there may be something wrong with him mentally." he said to her. "Nobody in their right mind would even think to draw a gun on someone just for a comment like that." It was then that he heard the gunshots, as well as the death cries of several animals. "Not in their right mind at all." he said with a sigh. "We must be very wary around him from now on, and inform the others of this as well."
