Ganger did not react quick enough and took a hit from the attack, knocking him out of his groove he had going before fainting as a purple orb appeared breifly before it vanished with Gangar. Aki chuckled as he said "Did you notice the life orb there? It's a powerful battle item which increase your attack power but losing a quarter of your health each time". He then sent out his Decidueye who immediately started with Spirit shackle.

"The Life Orb is a powerful item, when used right," Shiranui mused as he watched Decidueye attempt to sew Beckham's shadow to the field and prevent a switch-out, "To use it effectively, a Pokémon needs to know how to recover well or hit hard and fast."

"Flame Charge!" Liam called. Beckham attempted to get out of the way so that his shadow wasn't stuck to the battlefield.

Decidueye moved quickly so he was out of the way of the attack before vanishing into shadow to hit Beckham with a Shadow sneak.

Beckham may have missed the Decidueye, but since avoiding the previous attack was the intent of the last move it was still technically a success.
"Be careful Beck," Liam called out. The Cinderace was focusing trying to anticipate where his opponnet would appear from.

Multiple shadows would appear around Beckham, as well as spreading out to the trees and plants. Decidueye woukd contenly reappear and disappear into each shadow to keep Beckham and Liam guessing before he finally fired off the attack from Liam own shadow followed by another Spirt shackle

Beckham's shadow was at last struck, keeping him stuck in combat. Liam noticed that Blaze activated, so he called for a big Pyro Ball.

The pyro ball would hit Decidueye, only for it to be a shadow copy as the real one fired off a Shadow ball from the left.

Beckham was hit square in the back. Not seeing much alternative, Liam quickly swapped the Dragnium Z for the Firium Z. Working with Beckham, they channeled Pyro Ball into Inferno Overdrive.

Without much chance to dodge or block a Z move, both the clones and Decidueye itself were knocked out. So in case Aki final pokemon, the pokemorph Dragopult who immediately charged at Beckham with a Shadow claw.

"Flame Charge!" Liam called.

Dragopult vanished to avoid the charge before countering with another shadow claw, some energy would gather in her empty missle holders

Beckham got hit and was KO'd. Liam had one Pokemon left for this match. Goodra emerged from his ball next to his trainer, but not on the battlefield. He was expecting to go next. Liam was actually planing on using a diffrent Pokemon. Goodra saw there was a differnet ball in Liam's hand and realized. He walked over and stood next to Shiranui, wanting to watch. Liam tossed a Pokeball, a rarity among Liam's Pokemon. Hydro the Blastoise emerged.

Shiranui saw Liam's Goodra approach and called his own Goodra, Numeru, out to watch Liam's battle with her mate.

It was fair to say this move surprised both Dragopult and Aki but seeing the pikeball and notice the Blastoise made Aki chuckled in an almost giddy way. "You know I pride myself in making sure I'm always 5 steps ahead of my foe, but your move here was completed unpredictable, hell I was not even aware you had this one. So I'm in the dark for the first time in almost 10 years, so mad props to you" He said with a confident smirk. "Dragopult, I don't know anything about this pokemon so play defensively" He told her, so she gave him a thumbs up before waiting to see what Blastoise first move would be.

Liam readied his keystone and Mega Evolved Hydro then told it to use Dark Pulse

"Aki has obviously never been to Kanto if he doesn't know about the Blastoise species," Shiranui thought to himself.

Jen is surprise on Liam’s choice of Pokémon as Aura is meditation as she is keeping a eye on Kelama Kiara and the battle.

Shinranui thought was correct Aki had been everywhere but Kanto, though he had gone to pokemon tower before it was torn down to become the Kanto Radio tower. Dragopult was hit with super effective damage sending her floating back with a growl, more little energy formed around her cannon. Almost like something was taking form around her. Aki look pleased with this.

It was becoming clear that there was more to this battle then just a battle, Dragopult seemed to be happy about the gathering energy as well. She could hear little voices calling out to her, she had to keep fighting, her siblings were calling to her, after all, Dreepies lived in Dragopult cannons. She was so close.

Aki nodded and said "Dragopult siblings are calling out to her Champion Coleman, continues not holding back in this battle. Hopefully, the spirits will reunite with her before you defeat her". Dragopult roared and charged in for a dragon Rush on Hydro.

"Protect!" Liam ordered. Hydro ducked into his shell and a Green Shield appeared in front of him to block the attack.
