"Yeah, that does ring a bell," Peony replied. He then remembered his reason for coming out there. "Have you guys seen my daughter?"

“The last time we saw your daughter, she was in the store we came from,” Jen said as she tried to sense his daughter.

Peony said that he was just there and didn't see her. He wondered out loud if maybe she went to the caves nearby. Liam interjected
"Peony, you probably need to give her some space," Liam commented. "Based on what little bit I've seen, I think she feels that you are suffocating her. If you keep going after her, all you will do is cause her to push you further away."

"Nobody likes a helicopter parent," Shiranui added.

Jen knows how that feels like, Aura hugs her as she told Jen everything turn out fine and everything will work out for Penny.

"It is good that you are trying to look out for her, but remember which road is paved with good intentions," Liam added. Peony sighed and said that Liam and Shiranui were right.

"Now if you guys will excuse me, I have a performance to rehearse and time is short," Shiranui finished before leaving for somewhere secluded.

Jen nods as she watch Shiranui went on his way, she continued to pet Aura as she is in her own thoughts.oo

As the sun began to set, a beautiful glow came from behind buildings and trees giving the town of Freezington a bright almost rainbow like glow. The stage was built and the town was very excited to watch the two performers. Fire pokemon sat in certain areas to protect those who were young or old, or those that struggled in cold. If the group looked to the front, they would see the entire Shinobi no Shiki were seated to watch their little sister, Selina sat with them too. Her pokemon all dressed in little cheerleading outfits (At least to those who couldn't see the truth, like our heroes knew). Haru and Aki were dressed in warm coats, but Natsu with his forever burning spirit, didn't need a coat. Selina would wave her friends over to sit with them.

“Good luck to both of you,” Jen said as she went to sit next to Selina as she and her pokemon are amaze about the glow of rainbows around them. Kirara is worried her sisters will make fun of her costume as Moana told Kirara she look fine.

Zerina drop the illusion slightly so Kirara could see that Charmcaster, Gileta and Valkyrie were all dressed in outfits as well before returning it back. Gileta told Kiara that she loved her outfit and gave her some pom poms to do some cheering as well, Charmcaster and Valkyrie woukd join her her well showing Kirara how to cheer.

Fuyu was in the dressing room putting the finishing touches on both hers and Glacé outfits as the Glaceon seemed to have some slight nerves. "Glacé stop worrying the outfits look great and everyone here to support us" Fuyu said as she walked up to Glacé to hug her tightly.

In Shiranui's dressing room, he and his Zoroark, Zoro, were preparing for their performance. Zoro was annoyed at having to physically wear clothing as opposed to wearing illusory clothing. "Sorry, Zoro, but the Showcases have rules against the use of the Illusion ability to fake the Pokémon's outfit when they're not otherwise wearing one," Shiranui explained. Both he and Zoro wore traditional ninja garb with the Zoroark's claws looking like blood-soaked tekko-kagi.

Kirara blush as she hugs her sisters and practice some of the cheers with them. Aura and Moana join in too as Jen watch then.

A few minutes later, a light would appear in both Shinranui and Fuyu dressing rooms signalling the start of the contest. They would both get to see each other performance in real time as was Showcase tradition. Fuyu walked onto the stage in a winter themed idol costume as Glacé had the same them but built more about Eeveeloution.

A pair of smoke bomb explosions appeared on stage, signalling Shiranui and Zoro's entrances as the smoke cleared. Shiranui was sitting in the fudoza position while Zoro was concealing his claws within the sleeves of his outfit.

Fuyu liked Shinranui entrance, "Going all in on your roots Shinranui-San, I like it. You and Zoro look the part too, let's see just how good you are" Fuyu said as she blew him a kiss before taking her place in center stage. Glacé joined her as the crowd roar in cheers as the two girls showing both there degree in entertainment and idol work began to dance, icy winds from there dance began to form instruments that each played. The power of a pokemorph was always a sight to see.

They would then began to sing together.

Shiranui and Zoro took their places on stage and bowed in greeting to each other at the cue of a gong. Taiko drums started playing as they stared each other down and when shamisen music started playing they started showing off their ninja training with Zoro providing the illusory backdrop. Their dancing and sparring was reminiscent of kabuki theatre with Shiranui showing off his skills with various weapons and Zoro doing similarly with his claws and illusions.
