“General, I’m afraid I have very bad news, the second ship won't be done in time, in fact it’d be amazing if the raft is.”

“Why’s that Dr.?” Although, General Smith already knew why. They were two close to the son, calculations about time must have been off, looking at the chart instead of having a few more months they had a few more days. “I want everyone to work double time.”
The scientists continued their work on who knows what.

“Did you not hear me correctly, I said EVERYONE!”

And with that the remaining scientist sprinted out of the room, you did not want to be on the receiving end of General Smith’s wrath.

“My lord, I’m afraid I am once again the bearer of bad news.” Said General Smith, bowing so low he could have touched the floor.

“They think we don’t know, they think we’re still aiming at peace.” Muttered the highest sovereign. “Yes, get on with it, what's the bad news?”

“We have only a few days left, and I doubt we’ll be done, but we have a small shuttle remaining to get you out of here and through the gateway.”

“No, I stay with my people. How many spots does it have?” Asked the highest sovereign, marking a battle map.

“Six, sire. Along with two for a pilot.” Answered General Smith, trying to look around the elderly body of the highest sovereign to see the battle plan.

“Then take your family, you’ve been a very loyal subject, General Smith, you deserve it.” Responded the highest sovereign, obviously thinking about something else.
