Shannon Greene & James Feryana - Walking the Streets

Shannon saw it before James pointed it out to her. She had been on high alert, her eyes fixating rapidly on the slightest movement in the area. A torn piece of paper, a plastic bag, and now a monster. She kept her eyes on the slow-moving creature, her right hand reaching behind her. With a grace benefited by practice, Shannon smoothly pulled out her knife from its backpack pocket. "Don't be scared," she whispered, handing James the police baton. Shannon wouldn't need it for just one guy. "Just keep your voice down."

She walked toward the monster, her stride quick and confident. Her eyes darted from side to side to check if there were more around, but the coast appeared to be clear. As the 'walker' realized she was there, it turned on her, its glassy-eyed gaze staring right through her. When she was steps away from the creature, it made a sort of hissing noise and lunged toward her. Gritting her teeth, Shannon's arm plunged upward, the knife she was holding sliding smoothly into the walker's head. It died quickly, its body going limp. With a grunt, Shannon pulled out her knife and wiped it on her jacket. The walker fell at her feet.

Turning around, Shannon gave James a grin. See? She could do this. "Wait, James..." Shannon's grin died on her face as she saw more monsters appear behind James, coming from the road they had just turned off of. One, two, three... Shit! Shannon started running toward James. "Get back," she said, running up to him and grabbing her police baton back. "Get back!" She started pulling on James' arm, wanting to put as much difference between her and them. Her face grim, Shannon watched as the monsters continued to pour out on to the street. "This is a time to run."

Jack-Floyd, Jess, Lyn and Emma

Jack had followed Jess as she had gone, the girl wouldn't be doing the child any favours running about and he couldn't have forgiven himself if he had let something happen to her. Grabbing his rucksack he run after her drawing his hatchet from his belt loop. He didn't like the blade, it was heavy and very inaccurate, he wished he had grabbed a knife at his home now. The call of she's alive drew Jack to his surroundings. He had been following Jess blindly and was now kind of lost though he never would admit it however a girl in the distance was gesturing for Jess and Jess was eager to get to her. Clearly they knew each other. Unfortunately Jess had been running for a while and Jack knew she would be exhausted. He held out his arm and held her then whispered in her ear.

"This is clearly who you are looking for so slow down. She appears fine so think about yourself for a second. Think about your baby. Let me at least help you to your friend." He was using his patients voice again. The girl clearly cared for her friend very much and jack was almost jealous that she had someone she could trust like that. After about thirty seconds he finally helped Jess too her friend who looked the tougher of the two girls and...great...the guy who had run off. Just who he wanted to see.

Chapter: Run, Trip, Fall

James Feryana & Shannon Greene - On the Streets

James watched as Shannon walked up to the walker and shoved her knife in it's head. James smiled, but the smile died as soon as walkers approached him from behind. Shannon ran toward James and took her police baton back, as James watched the street start to get invaded by walkers. He got jerked backward as Shannon pulled on his arm, and he started to run, his face completely filled with fear. "Run, run, run, run..." James whimpered to himself. The boy turned his head to look behind him, looking at the walkers that walked, crawled and literally skipped to him and Shannon. As his head turned back to face where he was running to, James tripped over his own foot and scraped his knee on the ground. "Ow," He whimpered, attempting to get back up quickly only to end up back on the ground. "It hurts." He stated the obvious. He looked back at the walkers, which were still a bit away. There were a stray pair that had gained quite a lot on Shannon and James, the latter now looking up at Shannon with terrified eyes.

Shannon Greene & James Feryana - Fighting Walkers on the Street

She let go of James once he got the idea. She tucked the police baton in her pants and pumped her feet, her eyes fixated on the road ahead. She didn't dare look back, even to check on James, but a small cry of "ow" made her skid to a stop and spin around. To her dismay, James had tripped. Her eyes darted from the approaching monsters, to the fallen James, and back to the monsters again. A lump caught in Shannon's throat and for a split-second, her vision doubled. James became Lexi, and then he became Danny. One by one, Shannon saw so many of the people that had disappeared from her life. No!

Shouting, Shannon ran toward James and pulled out her gun. By the time she reached him, two walkers were practically on top of him. Shannon lifted her pistol and shot the first one in the head, its brain matter splattering all over the second walker. Crouching low beside James, Shannon aimed her pistol at the second walker and fired again, her shot managing only to clip the walker's ear. It was undeterred by the attack. It leaned down, placing a hand on Jame's leg and moaning wildly. Shannon cursed as she jumped into a shove and smashed into the walker. Its body wobbled on crouched legs and fell over backwards, almost comically. Dropping her gun, Shannon took her knife in both hands and plunged it into the monster's head.

"Oh my god," Shannon managed to say between deep breaths. She hastily picked up her gun. "Are you okay? We have to keep running." She held out a hand.

Chapter: Running with a Limp Leg, Gunning with a Bad Aim

James Feryana & Shannon Greene - Stumbling their way around - Floyd/Lynn/Jess/Tom/Jack/Emma (Railroad Group)

James was completely terrified. As in, he was completely frozen up, his skin completely pale. Come on, now isn't the time... He mentally shook himself, blinking rapidly and quickly taking a look around him. The first thing he noticed was the dead walkers at his feet, and the steadily gaining troop of walkers in the distance. James then looked at Shannon, whom asked if he was okay. “N-no.” He answers. “My leg is sore, and I’m scared to the core. This place is horrible, yet I’m still adorable. Okay, now is not the time for rhyming.” James takes Shannon’s hand, and tries to stand, only to groan in pain.

Frowning, Shannon gripped his hand tightly. No, it wasn’t the time, but she decided not to say anything. When the boy groaned, Shannon looked back toward the walkers anxiously. “Please tell me you can stand,” she said, crouching down to her knees. She shoved her knife back into her pack and placed one arm underneath James. “I’m going to try lifting you so you can stand.” Her voice was calm, a feat even she was surprised about. “Then you’re going to have to lean on me.” Slowly unstretching her legs, Shannon started to lift James, one arm around his torso and the other gripping his hand.

“I’ll try.” James answers Shannon. As she lifts him up, James pushes on his knees and raises himself up. The second he stands straight, he leans on Shannon. Glancing behind him, his eyes widen. The walkers were literally ten steps away from them. “If we don’t move, we’ll be zombie food.” James starts to walk with the help of Shannon. He points down the street, to where he sees no walkers. “That way!”

Her arm around James’ shoulder, Shannon could feel her adrenaline soaring. Her hand squeezed around his arm, likely causing pain. Shannon barely noticed, her attention only on taking step after step. She could practically feel the putrid breath of the monsters on her neck no matter how fast she pulled James along. She knew they were no faster than the average walker in this condition, and the reality was that some walkers had moments of unbelievable speed. “We’ll turn right up here, and then-” Shannon’s voice cut off when she spotted a man bursting out of the bushes. She was about to call out to him for help when he aimed a rifle at her and James. Panicking, Shannon fumbled out her gun with her free hand and shot wildly in the direction of their new threat. The man ducked back into the bushes, only to be replaced with yet another attacker. This one looked like a giant, a big bushy brown beard taking up the majority of his face. He had a shotgun.

As James ran with Shannon, his arm started hurting slightly from the way that her hand was squeezing it. He said nothing, though, just focused on his footing. He looked up in time to see that Shannon had fired at a man with a rifle, whom had ducked down after the shot was fired. As a second man with a shotgun popped up, James reached his spare hand (as one was around Shannon so the support was not so awkward) behind his back and pulled out his knife, quickly throwing it at the man. The knife managed to the man, but it hit hilt first. The man ducked down, and James whispered, “Run, run, run…”

Shannon thanked James inside her head for saving her a bullet. With the two men momentarily distracted, Shannon abruptly cut to the left, pulling James toward an alley. She normally would never use an alley as an escape from walkers, as it was almost always a tight fit. Just about anything could go wrong in cramped locations. Of course, this was one fucked up situation. Please, please, please… she repeated inside her head. As they neared the alley, a third man appeared off to the side. Shannon was ready for this one as she smoothly fired her gun in his direction. This one didn’t get scared like the others and shot back. His shot went wide, though it pushed Shannon into a burst of speed, essentially dragging James along with her.

As James limped into the alley with Shannon, he took a glance behind him at the two men, who were starting to follow them into the alley. Not just because they started something and wanted to finish it, but because of the flood of walkers that had continued to follow behind. Unfortunately, for them, the walkers put on a sudden burst of speed, claiming both of the men in a flurry of flailing arms. The pair could be heard screaming as the disappeared from James’ view. As they ran through the alley, a third man appeared and shot at Shannon and James. The boy’s arm suddenly got jerked as Shannon put on a burst of speed, and James was forced to follow as fast as he could. The man pursued as walkers started to put into the alley like water. Please, please, I don’t want to die, he thought fearfully in his head.

The hobbling pair stumbled over some discarded trash, but managed to stay on their feet. Shannon pulled James closer, looking back to check on the man still pursuing them. He seemed more concerned with the walkers coming in from behind, but Shannon fired off another shot in his direction anyway. The man cursed and stumbled over the same bit of trash. He fell to his feet and Shannon turned her attention back to getting out of the damned alleyway. As she lead James out on to a new street, she heard the man behind them swearing loudly. She didn’t look back, only turned to the right and continued down the road. “There could be more,” she said, as explanation why they weren’t slowing down. She soon spotted railroad tracks in the distance, and a building nearby that looked sturdy and defensible. “Here,” she said, grimly. They entered the building and Shannon dropped off James to begin barring the door. There were desks and filing cabinets scattered around the main floor, indicating it had once probably been an office space. Once she felt the door was safely barred, Shannon collapsed to the floor. “... Wait here, I’ll take a look outside.” Pausing for only a few seconds, Shannon got back up to her feet and headed upstairs. James simply just sat in a chair and put his feet on a desk, trying to relax but at the same time tried to watch the entrance.

Snaking around discarded furniture, Shannon went to one of the second floor windows. The glass was broken out, and Shannon aimed her gun out the hole as she scanned the horizon. She spotted a group standing on the railroad tracks nearby, though she couldn’t quite tell if they were looking in her direction. Her immediate thought was that the men who had attacked her was from this group. They were certainly close enough, and looked well armed. Besides, Shannon knew she couldn’t take any chances now. Gritting her teeth, she fired on the group, using up her remaining two shots. She then ducked down and fished through her backpack for more ammo. She only had one clip left. Seventeen shots. She doubted it would be enough.

Lynn, Jessalyn - Railroad Tracks - too many people to list

Jess was uncomfortable to say the least. Floyd wanted her to get on the bike and go with him to safety and Lynn agreed, but it didn't seem like he was really wanting her with him at all. She didn't want to be where she wasn't wanted.
She started towards the bike hesitantly, but before she could get on bullet's suddenly rang out. She screamed and crouched, wrapping her arms around her stomach.

"What the hell?!" Lynn shouted and got down on one knee, pointing her gun towards the person who had shot at them. "Jess get down! Hey!" she shouted at the shooter. "You're shooting at a pregnant woman you crazy bitch!"
Jess grabbed Floyd's arm, afraid he would get shot. "Please stop," she pleaded in a low voice.
Was no where safe anymore? She just wanted to be somewhere safe with everyone. She didn't want anyone to get hurt anymore.

Polyester-Church back door- People

Walkers slowly began to claw their way into the church, through windows and doors. Polyester suddenly found himself flooded with terror. With the only means of exit behind him, he ran out the back door of the church, leaving any potential survivors behind. Looking ahead, he found at least 6 survivors at the railroad tracks in the distance. Looking around he found a bike, in poor condition, but ride able. Polyester hopped onto the bike and rode it a few yards, only to fall off. Polyester got back up and tried again, this time riding successfully. He passed some walkers stumbling around a farmers market, which took notice of him. After what seemed like 10 minutes, he catched up with the survivors, who seemed to be in some sort of conflict. He parked the bike and pulled out his trusty pistol. Hanging it at his side, he slowly approached the group. "Whats going on here?"

Floyd - Disperse: Tha Heist - Jessalyn

A loud whistle then blew past Floyd's ear. That 'sound' then clashed against the surface of the dirt beneath him, sinking into the core. "Shit!" Floyd murmured as his teeth grinned fiercely. His muscles tensed a little as the gunfire continued. He was on a black two thousand thirteen Tha Heist, which was very odd, because that was not the bike he had parked there when he first escaped the city. He had been riding a Yamaha Triumph. It seemed somebody must havee traded bikes, taking the Triumph and leaving this one behind. Thankfully, the key was still in the ignition, leaving would be no problem.

Suddenly, aside from the gunfire, a hand grasped Floyd's arm. It was the child bearer trying to take him off the bike, all in attempt to protect him. It had been an unexpected touch that he had jumped a little from the collision. As Lynn returned fire, Floyd got off the bike and picked Jessalyn off the ground like a child. "Were going kid, like it or not!" he growled at her, forcing her on the bike, getting on right after her. He turned the throttle and a burst of dark smoke blasted from the muffler. He turned back to face Lynn, hopefully she would understand what he thought from mere eye contact.

Without further hesitation, the bike started rushing through the grassland passing up all the train cars. "We'll continue until I feel were far enough to be safe!" Floyd called out to Jess, making sure she heard him over the intense wind hitting their faces. The gas on the bike was low, probably the reason it was abandoned. "Dammit, at this rate we wont make it to the next town" he thought to himself. He looked at the side mirror and could see Jessalyn's reflection, the fear she deeply felt could be seen on her face. "Calm down girl, they'll be alright!" he called out once more, trying to calm her down. He lied to himself by saying he'd done it to stabilize the bike, but he calmed her down because...........................................

After a speeding journey, Floyd decided to stop as the nearby trees started to get condensing. It seemed they were closer and closer to the center of the forest. They were still near the tracks, but soon enough, they would be surrounded by trees, which in this case, was sort of dangerous. They wouldn't be able to tell a tree from a walker. He turned the ignition off for the moment as he began to think. He grunted from frustration. "Get off" he commanded as he also did the same. After Jess did as he commanded, he started rolling the bike aside towards the forest. "We'll have to camp in the woods for the night. I wan't to get a camp set up before it gets too dark. You stay here while I go in the woods and get everythin' set up, got it?" he asked, not waiting for a response. With those finalizing words, Floyd started for the dark and empty landscape. His body then camouflaged with the trees and was no longer visible. Only the motorcycle remained with Jessalyn, not even the keys were on it though, so she wouldn't leave with it. He gave her no other option but to wait, but would he return? The entire group had now been dispersed.

Aleck ~ At the Train Tracks

Shots rang and the guy on the bike left with the preggo chick.

What an absolute deuche, Aleck thought as he saw that he had left others behind when he raced away with the preggo girl. The thought had been a simple afterthought but it would remain as his impression of the man on the bike. For the moment he was more preoccupied with the safety of the young girl he had bandaged just moments ago.

"Get to some cover!" He yelled at the young girl before racing towards the houses, since he was out of sight of the attacker he was able to run without ducking, Aleck dropped his pack after roughly retrieved the rifle pieces and loaded the gun taking an extra clip, the stock was an easy clip on type and he had practice with reloading guns so with swift motions of his hands he had the rifle battle worthy in mere seconds.

He thought about using his body and jacket to protect the girl but he valued his safety above hers and the firing had been short so there seemed to be a momentary ceasefire either from a pause to evaluate the situation or the reloading of guns. Once in sight of where he believed the attacker to be he fired, unloading four of the six 9mm rounds from the revolver that had been in his pocket, in that direction to keep the attacker down long enough to get within site of the target.

"Stop shooting!" he demanded of the person in the building. "We can resolve this peacefully, shoot again and I will assume that, that is your only and official response!"

He wasn't worried about the people to his back, if the man had proffered to run rather than fight then it could only mean that he had no confidence in his group of winning the gun fight. He was also not worried about the group, if that was what it even was, in front of him. After the initial shooting of what sounded like two low caliber rounds the firing had stopped, either the rounds had been a scare tactic or there was only one shooter with low ammo. He hoped it was the latter, he did not want to risk his life fighting an armed group.

He scanned the windows ready to spring to any of them and unload three round controlled bursts. Since he had no idea where exactly the attacker was he had to rely on his reflexes for victory.

An eerie thought crossed his mind, could this group be a stalker killer group? He had fought a few, but he had done the reverse stalking having spotted them first, it was why he hated moving in anything larger than solo. It made it easier to get spotted and in consequence, killed. Those kinds of groups cared only about killing, raping, and robbing. There was no talking and no surrender. The reason for the thought was the fact that the attacker had spoken no warning or demand, and had in fact elected to not speak at all. The only thing that kept him from feeling dreadfully sure that this was a stalker killer group was the fact that while those kinds of groups killed they tended to taunt and wear down the mind with psychological attacks to provoke fear and irrational thought.

Daniel Crowe - Streets/Inside Building - James & Shannon

Daniel swerved the pickup truck to a halt on the corner, and peeked through the windshield. The gun shots had come from the train tracks, he could tell. The tracks were just barely visible. The man climbed out of the truck and went to the bed and retrieved his military rucksack, slinging it onto his shoulders. This was urban warfare, or even worse. Rarely in the army did Daniel ever encounter living corpses. He checked himself before moving to the corner of the building that blocked him from view of anyone at the train tracks. His M9 was strapped to his standard, army issued bulletproof vest. A combat knife was strapped to his thigh, and an M48 tactical tomahawk was clipped to the side of his bag. Daniel moved to the edge of the corner building, picking around. He spotted the group on the tracks; there were five, if he'd counted right. One had an assault rifle, most likely an M16. The assault rifle fired at a building down the street. A three round controlled burst; definitely an M16.

Daniel waited for the firing to cease, he looked straight at the building of target and sprinted a B-line to the back of it. He wiped the sweat off of his face with his blue shemagh scarf, and opened the back door. He ripped the Beretta from his vest and held it outward, but not enough to hyper-extend his arm. He quickly cleared the room, when another shot was fired. He took a hurried step towards the staircase, silently ascending the steps. A loud pop emanated from one of the room; a pistol shot.

Precariously, Daniel peeked into the room, surprised by what he saw. A woman - No, a girl, by the looks of her - crouched in the window with her gun. Her body was slightly toned, but she small compared to him. Daniel took one emphasized step, creating a loud boom, and holding his m9 at her head. "Get out of the window, drop your gun and stay down!" He commanded.

Emma - Train Tracks - Hoedown Showdown of Doom Group

Emma remained weary of Aleck, had he discovered that she taken his things? She decided to give him a chance. She unhooked her rucksack from her shoulder and unzipped it. Quickly, she removed the hammer, the taser, and the water bottles, and slid the towards Aleck. "I-I'm sorry, Aleck..." She waited a moment, and then said, "...my...my name is Emma...by the way."

Aleck ~ currently taking aim at an attacker

Aleck laughed, he laughed so hard he lost focus. He laughed so hard that at some point he wasn't making any noise and was just clapping his chest because he couldn't clap both hands together to make that retarded seal laugh. Since he was crouching in his cover he fell over backwards and had to rollover and get on all fours to stand up again which he did so slowly.

"I like you," he said to the girl with a big grin as he tried to regain his seriousness, after all they were still in real life and death potential danger. Her action had been so random that it had completely overwhelmed his rationality, normal people would have tried to get rid of the evidence in some form or fashion or maybe even hide it and never give it back, but the girl had been honest with Aleck. He normally would have acted like it had been a betrayal because that is what it was, the girl HAD in fact been trying to leave him and take some of his things. Was he that untrustworthy? She must have noticed that moment back then when his senses had clouded. He decided to forgive the girl, her bold honesty was just too much. "Here take the things and don't worry about it."

That there had been a bonding moment for Aleck, normally he'd be cautious with people even if they had earned a little bit of his trust but this girl since the beginning had lowered his guard and had even managed to surprise him twice. He decided that she was someone worth protecting and saving in this world.

Hearing gunshots, James gets a little worried. What's going on? Did the bandits follow us? Should I see if Shannon needs help? After a few more seconds of thinking, James heard footsteps walking around. He couldn't stop himself. He got up, and started to maneuver around the pieces of furniture. Do I actually want to do this? What if someone shoots me? Nonetheless, he peeks out from where he was and into the next room. Nobody there. James slips into the room, but as he does he hears someone talking. He walks to the next door and peeks through.

James saw two people. Shannon, and a man with a pistol which was pointed at Shannon. Oh god, no. I don't want to lose her. If she dies nobody will be here for me. I need to do something. Many thoughts ran through James' head of ways to react to this situation, but one shone through. "Don't hurt my mum!" He suddenly cried out, stepping out into the open. Nobody would want a child to see their mother being shot in front of them. There were a few problems to this plan, though. Shannon would possibly have to lie about her age, and play along with what he was saying. With a little luck, it could work. "P-please, don't hurt her." James said, doing the most innocent and upset face he could.

The boy had surprised Daniel. He hadn't expected that. The boy was young... but not young enough to be the girl's son. He'd lied, such was plain obvious. Daniel slowly lowered the gun, keeping an eye on the girl. He looked into the boy's eyes - and it hit him. Afghanistan, 2010. He'd held an assault rifle at a man whom had opened fire at his squad. "Please, don't hurt father!" His son had spoken in broken English. Daniel had pulled the trigger and walked away, feeling like he could shoot himself.

Presently, Daniel unloaded the hammer on the Beretta, and looked at him. "I'm...I'm not going to hurt you, I promise." He holstered the pistol in his vest. "I'm a soldier... a good guy." He lowered himself down to the boy's level. "I'm Daniel.... what's your name?"

There was shouting from the group below, but the return fire drowned out whatever they were saying. Shannon tried to poke her head out, but a shot hit unbroken glass and scattered shards around her. Shannon ducked out of sight and cradled her gun.

Shots continued to rain above her, bringing an overwhelming sense of dread upon Shannon. Her pulse was quickening, her breath growing more haggard. A strange mildew smell became apparent, something Shannon hadn't noticed moments before. This office smelled rotten. It was rotten and abandoned just like everything else.

Shannon could feel the world crashing down on her. She was going to die here.

There was another shout, this one far more clear and sounding like it came from directly below the window. The man wanted to resolve this peacefully, though Shannon doubted he was being sincere. Still, what other choice did she have? She didn't have the ammo or the skill to take them all out. She was about to yell back when a boom grabbed her attention. She spun her head around to find a man pointing a gun at her. Without thinking, Shannon yelped and pointed her pistol back at him. Her hands were shaking - No, her whole body was shaking - and she couldn't aim in this condition, but that thought couldn't penetrate the booming inside her head.

She sat like this for a moment, waiting for the man to shoot. She wasn't putting her gun down, after all. She closed her eyes for just a moment and opened them to see James come up the stairs behind the man. She stared dumbly at the boy, confused by what he was saying. She was hardly old enough to even possibly be his mother. Still... She certainly looked haggard enough to be a bit older.

She watched the man react by by putting away his weapon. She managed to lower her own, relief washing over her. Her body still shaking, Shannon could only utter a single word: "Please."

Daniel - Inside the Building - Shannon & James

She was shaking from head to toe, the girl was. She looked like she was ready to drop down and faint. Daniel had lowed his gun and put it away. Was she still afraid of him? "Please." She stammered. Daniel nodded. He observed her momentarily. She was definitely younger than him, maybe by about five to seven years. She was thin and haggard, it was clear that she was malnourished.

The boy appeared in the same fashion. What would he do with them? Start a group? The both of them looked like they could barely defend themselves, especially the boy. They had to get away, back to the truck. "I want to get you both to safety, are either of you injured or unable to run?"

Shannon - Inside the Building - Daniel & James

It took a concentrated effort to remain calm, even though the immediate danger had passed. She tried to stand, to put up a stronger front in front of this stranger, but her exhaustion had finally caught up with her. She sniffed, leaning her head back against the wall. Her eyes closed, she listened to the man talk some nonsense about safety. She shook her head without thinking, starting to become a bit confused. What was this guy talking about?

"Are you not with those people outside?" she managed to ask. She opened her eyes, finally taking in the man standing before her. He was certainly older than she was. He looked tall, handsome, and fit. He seemed to be studying her intently, almost judging her. Not in a rude way, but in a way a scientist would examine a formula. He looked a little rough around the edges, but there was something about his poise and demeanor that made Shannon feel slightly more at ease.

"No, I heard shots, and came. I have a truck outside. I don't know who those people are." It was then that Daniel realized how his approach may have looked. He hadn't given any indication of his intent, nor had he exactly given himself the image of friendliness upon entering; he had pointed a gun at her.
"I know you have little reason to trust me, so I understand a certain extent of reluctance." He stepped back towards the stairs. "However, we have to hurry before those people on the tracks get to us." The girl seemed scared, but more relaxed than before. "Like I said, I have a truck outside."

James was relieved when the man said he wasn't going to hurt him, and answered his question by nervously saying, "I'm James." He looked at Shannon, then back to Daniel, but then back to Shannon. She looks exhausted, he thinks to himself. He strolled next to Shannon and stood beside her, feeling slightly safer with someone he knew, and looked at Daniel. "Well, yeah, I think we should get out of here. If those people on the tracks assault us, we're scrap." James looks nervous for a second. "Or, they could steal your truck and drive away. Not good for us either way."

Daniel - Inside The Building - Shannon, James

James was right, they needed to get moving. Daniel removed his gun from the holster and held at by his side. He swung his rucksack off and unzipped it, producing a spare 9mm clip and tossing it to the woman. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name." He said as he zipped the bag up. He took a second to think, then unstrapped the knife from his thigh, and extending his arm to James. "I really hope you won't have to use this, but keep it just in case."
