Jon was watching life go in the neighborhood as he sat on his back-deck. Sipping a Chai-Latte looking at his watch and trying to keep his cool.

9:15 come on Wes don't let me down.

Finally he looked at his cell-phone and just said in almost a prayer, "Ring." Just then his phone rang and Jon looked at it for a second. He then looked to the sky and said, "Wow! Good one. Winning lotto numbers in the mail today would be a real treat."

Jon answered and when he heard Wes' voice said, "Hey Wes yeah we need to talk. Not sure how much your agent filled you in on, so if I repeat what is said sorry but I'll bring you up to speed. Bottom line is this Warners is doing everything they can legally to force me to throw you out of the movie, and we both know that ain't happening as long as i'm in charge. However all is not lost. Universal has come in and said they are willing to not only give us everything we need, but they are committed to 2 more films with an increase in budget per movie by 25 million. We would delay filming for 6 weeks as opposed to 3-4 months to get everything in line. Your original deal that we negotiated with your stipulations is still good, and will be honored otherwise there will be a payout penalty to you of 4 million dollars. I won't lie to you though I am getting something out of this as well, so when it's mentioned you can say you know about it, because I will be up-front with you Wes. I get a 3 picture deal in addition to the 'Bound By Blood' trilogy and they want me to run another franchise that they are trying to make happen. They want me to do 'Flash Gordon' and I'd be lying if I hadn't already considered you for a part in it., but that's down the road. "

Jon took a sip of his Chai-Latte and said, "Now all of this is contingent on you. The principal actors saw your video and let me just say this Hopkins texted Harv and said, "That's my son!' and Helen is also looking forward to being with you on this one. This is the advantage to working with those who believe in a project and you can trust. They are wiling to do what it takes to make it happen. All this though Wes is on you. You agree to wait for the 6 weeks, and we move everything to a studio that wants us. We stay at Warners and any hint of something going wrong they'll pin it on you and you're out. Then the there is the third option. You walk away it's your right you haven't signed the deal as of yet so you are under no obligations at this time."

Jon finished his Chai and said, "So what do you think Wes? You wanna go make a movie at Universal. We can have our agents finish up the deal at the studio and you and I don't even have to go to the meeting."
