[IC] The Never Ending Hunt

Damien blinked. He looked perplexed and glanced at Alex to reassure him he had no idea what this angel was talking about. Then he looked back to Neisha. "I'm... I'm just human. I don't know what you're talking about." He shook his head. Quickly changing the topic to more pressing matters, he continued. "Look, angel, please help us. I'm begging you. There's a demon over there that is far more powerful than anything I have ever seen. I don't want to die. I don't want others to die, but there's no other reason I can think of why he'd be here." Damien noted the huge dog at her feet. "I'll make you a deal. I won't harm your 'brethren.' Just the demons, ok?"

The sword formed in her hand within brilliant light. "The demon is no match for me" Niesha said, having no idea if that was true or not, but she made her voice reassuring and tried to convey those emotions as well. She nodded, "You shall not die here" She said, reached out to touch him, laying the protective spell she had formed over him, "Don't get in my way"

She turned, walking towards the collected group, towards the demon, approaching the tree it sat in. "I have no qualms about killing you, demon" She said, sword held at the ready. "Leave"

Hircine eyed the angle that approached. "You come armed and ready to spill blood of those you claim as wicked when it was those of your flock that fired the first shot of this gathering of the blessed and damned." He said in his cold tone as he looked the angle over quickly.

Niesha glanced over, "They aren't my flock. If I didn't find it a betrayal, I would kill them too. I don't trust other angels" She said, "I will protect humans though, even if they do not wish my protection"

She let her senses out, so she could feel where each and everyone of them were, and not be taken by surprise, "I don't care who fired the first shot. Why are you all here?" She demanded.

"The answer to a question that has no true meaning is nothing." Hircine said in the same calm voice as before. "And demanding words from others will get you no where child of God. Calm your tone when you speak or the only answer you will receive will be that of violence." He said placing his hands behind his back and standing with a much more proper stance.

Zabrina glared at the angel before her, Micheal and John had to hold her back before she charged at the woman. "You claim you are an angel when you are nothing more then a winged human." She spat out the words and Micheal stepped in front of her. The birds from before suddenly flew down and started pecking at the angel's head. Zabrina had to hold back a small laugh as John stepped in front if her too, both of them guarding her.

Damien bowed to her, which was an odd thing, really, since the world truly belonged to humans and the angel was technically an enemy outsider. Yet he could not help but feel a kinship with her somehow.

Staying out of her way, Damien took aim at John and Michael.

With a flash of light, Niesha pushed the birds away without harming them, the light forming around her, "I am an Angel, and sorry for it. I am the daughter of an Archangel, as much as I hate to admit that. And my tone is calm" She glared back, and indeed her tone was calm. "Considering I have been chased from the town I left my father behind, till here, I think I have the right to demand answers when a bunch of angel, and demons are gathering together. I won't let you have the hunters, or the other humans nearby"

"Funny. You have to have your men hold you back. I suggest you rein in that anger of yours" Niesha said spitefully, her tone still calm though.

John and Micheal watched the hunter take aim and shrugged, no matter what arrows he decided to shoot at them they didn't care. They were already dead, Zabrina paid little attention to the man with the bow, she knew her two spirit friends would protect her. When she heard the angel she shrugged. "I don't really care, that anger is here to stay. Unlike you I'm not a human lover."

"This gathering of the blessed and damned is the product of chance and nothing more. These beings have no tie to me nor I them." Hircine said in his cold tone. "Neither the woeful life you have lived nor your birth gives you the right to demand anything from others. You must earn your way with each person be them from earth, heaven, or hell."

"Humans have done more for me then my own kind" Niesha said, Leaf growling at her side. "And this is their place. I will stop any more hardship and suffering falling on them, because I am the light" Her sword flashed in response to her words, "And yet many demon and angels think they are above humans because of their power. They did not earn these high opinions of themselves, so speak not of earning to me." With that, she turned back to the demon.

Alex was speechless, "what is going on, what does she mean Damien isn't human, why is this angel protecting us." these thoughts were all in his head.
Alex then shook his head and remembered about the hunting party. "they will only make this worse" Alex then began to make a torch.

Damien could have sworn he just heard something akin to wisdom coming from that awful demon. He kept his eye on the two undead however. That rebel angel was starting to look more like the enemy to him.

Zabrina waved her hands in the air and scowled. "Oh I am the light! I'm so scared!" She said sarcastically, she shook her head and looked over at the demon next to her. She gave him a small reassuring smile and Michael stood a tad bit closer to him, his arrows suddenly burst into white flames and he notched one aiming at the angel. John's sword erupted in the same fire and they waited patiently.

"You base me off the actions of others which is a crime upon itself. If all were to be held responsible for the crimes and acts of others we all would be considered damned." Hircine said in his cold tone, not seeming to be fazed by the angel's sword or dog.

Niesha grew tired of this. She sighed, "I was so hoping this was going to be easy" Light flashed around her, and she turned to the two spirits aiming to attack her, a shield forming out of light.

"You can not hurt me" She said, "Base you of the action of others? Spare me your talk. You have killed, demon, and that is what I base you on"

"Oh and you haven't? I wouldn't believe that, who knows how many demons and angels died to your hand." Zabrina glared at the other angel and her breathing waz rough. Michael and John shrugged and John turned to the hunter.

[Saarebas]

"I have killed men who had stolen and tortured children in the hopes of harming a single man. I have killed men who slaughtered whole villages in the hopes of finding one of the blessed or damned. I do not deny the blood on my hands, but as many angles and men would put it monsters belong in hell and that is where I sent those monsters." Hircine said, not bothering to react to the angles light.

Niesha hissed, "I only kill demons and only in defense of myself, or humans, I do not kill angels. I have never killed a human either, unlike you" Her voice suddenly changed tone, rougher, "You shall not harm either of the hunters!" Her voice was loud, "I won't let you!"

Lightening flashed down, cracking at her feet, and leaf howled. She ignored the demons words, not believing them for a second.

Zabrina went into her angel form and wind picked up around her feet, she laughed roughly and smiled daggers at the angel. "I see, do you know why we kill? It is for betterment! Yet you kill demons lile him and say it is for the greater good!" Michael and John looked at each other and covered her while she ranted.
