Mike looked at her, "easy there max Bruce didn't tell you all the parts of the shift." He sat down next to her, "when your a new lycan you can only shift once during a day by you shifting twice puts your whole body in pain or stress whichever just take it easy."

"He actually failed to mention that." Max said and slouched over feeling pain in her stomach. "There are a lot of things I need to learn when it comes to this stuff." She admitted and looked at the ground. "I should have learned more before changing."

Mike nodded, "come on I'll help you to Bruce's room easier for you to rest there more than anything else." He helped max to her feet, leading her to the mast bedroom. Bruce still wasn't awake, Mike set her down in one of the chairs beside the bed.

Max walked with him and sat down in the chair once they got there. She leaned her head back and looked at the ceiling. "I`m glad he`s okay, I don`t know what I would do if he wasn`t. They`re on the look out now though. They know what both of us look like in wolf form."

Mike nodded, "I know they do but they have more to worry about than used . Also it sounds like you love him max, I don't know if you do or don't I'm just guessing there. Might as well let the rest of the pack know he's alright and that your fine as well." With that he left, Bruce still lying on the bed but this time in human form.

Max watched Mike leave shock written all over her face. In love with Bruce? She`d known the guy for less then two days. Looking over at him sleeping she leaned back after having shot up straight in shock. "Well it`s not like it`s impossible." Max said to herself and sighed. "I`m actually thinking about this. Thanks Mike," she said sarcastically.

Bruce turned onto his side, his shirt was gone peter took it off to get the silver out of his blood stream his middle wrapped in bandages from the burns he had revived it was worse there than any other part of his body that he had gotten burned.

Max looked at him looking at the bandages. He really could have died tonight and honestly it would be her fault. She`d asked him to stay at the house and all the other things. If she`d died in the woods a couple days ago this wouldn`t have happened to him.

Bruce still could hear some of the thoughts of what max thought. It was part of the pack bond, if you weren't careful other pack members could hear your thoughts. His voice slowly unfurled into Max's mind, not your fault if you would have been dead and then the cops had gotten me and everything I would be dead right about not his eyes slowly opened just as he finished talking in he head.

Max looked at him in surprise. "Oh, well I guess you have a point. I'm glad to see your awake now." She said and sighed in relief. "How did they know you were a wereolf and how did they get you in the first place?"

Bruce groaned his hand going to his stomach, "the cop that had shot me and saw me shift reported it in. I forgot I had left a blood trail to the house, looks like your uncle now knows I'm a lycan." The pain was bearable he had been through worse before, still he hurt and it would take a week or two for the burns to heal fully since it went through his blood stream and not getting touched by him. He groaned in pain as he turned onto his side looking at max, "well guess not going back there ever again for me anyway."

"I think my uncle is going to start suspecting me now that he knows I lied to him about you." Max said and sighed. "Have the people around here ever started up any fights like this before?" She asked looking over his burns. "I wouldn`t think that`s very pleasant at all."

Bruce shrugged, "humans don't really bother is there scared on what they would find here in the woods. Now that they know that there's lycans here they'll use silver in whatever they can, to kill us off this is going to be fought on three fronts lycans, humans, and vampires right now humans are getting ready so are the vamps along with us." He slowly sat up, putting his feet on the floor.

Max stood up from her seat making her a bit dizzy dude to the blood rushing to her head. "You shouldn`t be moving, you need to rest." She said seriously. "This fight shouldn`t be happening for a few more weeks at the least right?" Max said looking down at him. "If that`s the case then you should be focusing on getting better." She rambled on becoming a bit worried just by hearing all of this.

Bruce looked at max, he sighed he knew she was right and his abdomen hut like hell just from trying to sit up he would be in more pain if he tried to stand. He slowly lowered himself back onto the bed, "at least stay here most of the pack would probably challenge me if they heard me say this can you stay here I don't really like being alone unless I absolutely have to be."

Max slowly sat back down in her chair. "Sure, just don`t get up I don`t want you you to hurt yourself more." She said and leaned back looking at him. "What is everyone`s names in the pack? All I really know is Mike and your dad." She asked curiously. If she was going to be apart of all this it`d be nice to know their names. It was just awkward when she didn`t.

Bruce nodded, "there 15 of us in all counting me and you were not as big as some other packs. Alright then, we've got peter he's the packs medical you already know mike. Hannah, Luke, Justin, Greg, Abby, Robert, Wendy, Lucy, David, sky, Thomas, Ben, Adam. They'll raise there hands once I call them so then you can learn whose who."

Max nodded trying to remember all the names. "That`s a lot of people for you saying it`s a small pack." She said and wondered how long it`d take her to remember all of them. It wasn`t going to be learned in a day that`s for sure. "So that`s just your pack then?" Max asked trying to keep the conversation going. Although she also was just curious about how all of this works and how many there were.

Bruce nodded, "were a small pack compared to other packs of thirty or more." He shifted himself, he winced his arm going around his abdomen he groaned in pain. He didn't know the extent of the damamge the silver inside of him did he groaned in pain once more his hand tightening it's hold there.

"You really shouldn`t try shifting it`s just going to hurt you." Max said and nodded to the information about the pack. "So was everyone in this pack born a lycan?" She asked curiously while leaning her head on the chair and staring up at the ceiling trying to relax her spinning head. Shifting twice in one day was definitely not the best decision she`d made in awhile.
