Bruce nodded, and grimaced as he got to his feet. "Once the silver's out I should heal in a day or two, last night I'm sorry for that, but I wad going on orders so I really didn't have a choice. Still somehow your friend was able to pass by as human when he really was a vampire I knew something was off about him, but if you stayed with him he would have killed you." He ran his hand through his long hair that reached his neck, then he looked back at the human in front of him "names Bruce."

Max stood and wrapped his arm around her neck on the side he was shot so he wouldn`t have to put weight on it. "My name`s Max Adams, have a last name?" She asked as she started to help him move to the door underneath the deck. The door lead to the furnished basement they had. Considering neither her or her uncle had big fancy cars there was no reason to have them in the basement. Her car was a rusty old blue pick up truck. She loved it even if it gave her problems sometimes. "Brian was a sociopath." She added..

Bruce nodded, "last name Williams." He said in a soft tone, "the scent that was coming off of him just seemed off I knew he was no werewolf considering I had never seen him in the woods, he was no human either sense you have this alive smell to you," his head dropped a little as the blood loss was finally taking a toll on him. "If you want if you have problems with your truck I would be happy to fix it once I'm on my feet again.

"Bruce Williams, nice name. How do you know about my truck?" Max asked curiously as they got to the door and she unlocked it before opening it and walking him over the bathroom across the hang out room.after kicking the door shut. She sat him down on the toilet and took a deep breath before going through the medicine cabinet and taking out a first aid kit. Granted she was no nurse but she had a general idea of how this was going to work. "Put your bleeding leg over the tub so it`ll be easier to clean."

Bruce did as he was asked, "you really think I would be stupid enough to come out of the woods without checking if anyone else was around I just saw the truck in the front part of the house as I was making sure no one else was here beside you old werewolf habit I guess." He gave a small shrug, "now I know you might have a few questions on werewolves just make sure to say one question at a time."

Max nodded as she got a stool from the corner and sat on it before opening the first aid kit and getting out tweezers along with bandages and alcohol. "First off, what happened to me after I fainted last night?" She said and took a towel and wetted it in the tub before she started to clean away the blood on his leg and stop the bleeding for the moment as best as she could so she could quickly get the bullet out before too much blood came out.

Bruce looked at her, "I told the others to report what had happened to the alpha then I went back to where you were picked you up and set you on the bench before I ran back into the woods, don't say that I think of you as affriend I just didn't need another wolf coming up and then thinking you were flood or something." He tensed when he felt pain shoot through his leg, but he stayed still.

"This is going to hurt so prepare yourself." Max said as she got the tweezers from the first aid kit. "Alright next question, how many of you are there?" She asked while she washed off the towel in the tub. The bathroom was small which was alright for a furnaced basement. Although anyone could tell it still needed some work done.

Bruce tensed his leg, he knew it was going to hurt. Still the question got his mind off of the pain, he thought for a moment. "I lost count after a hundred there's to many of us to count anymore so I'd say were more than a hundred werewolves. Were all not in the same area of course, there are other werewolves in this world in different country's."

"Is there a homeland?" Max asked curiously. She also was trying to keep him distracted while she started to take the bullet out. It was proving to be a bit of a difficult task. After about a minute she got the bullet out only to find there was a shard of it missing. "Ahhh... the bullet shattered." She said and looked at his face. Mind you she didn't know it it was one shard or if that had busted into a couple more. Hopefully it was just another shard.

Bruce kept his body still, only a grunt of pain escaped him. "There is no homeland werewolves are just made or born only a wolf or werewolf has to bite another human to change them," he nearly groaned when he heard the bullet had shattered, but he kept that in check.

Max nodded and put the bullet down before going to get the shard. "So do you just get bit and turn or is it more complicated? Like for instance how with a vampire you have to drink their blood and die before you start the process of turning?" She asked keeping him distracted. "My memories about who Brian really was came back when he died." She explained to him.

Bruce thought for a moment, "there are two things that will either happen you get lucky after the attack and stay human or you change if you change then full moon your wolf will force you to change and take over for the night after that you've got to learn to control your wolf instincts or it won't really end well."

Max nodded and started to get the shard out of his leg which she did after a bit. She then started to clean the blood off and bandage it. Luckily the shard hadn't craked. "So say I was attacked last night and was bit by one of you. I could possibly be a werewolf this morning?" She asked curiously as she got up and washed off her hands in the sink.

Bruce thought for a moment, "you wouldn't really know for sure until the next full moon. That I can tell you but still its a half and half chance, you can either be turned or not that I consider lucky, but some of us are born werewolves we cant ignore the part of our instincts that come from our wolf side." He lifted his nose in the air, and took in a few deep breaths, "looks like I overstayed my welcome I would say that is either some relative or someone that takes care of you." With that he was gone already back in the woods in his wolf form, luckily the bandages shifted there place as he did.

Max stood at the door they had come through a watched him leave standing there for quite a while afterwards. "Max!" Her uncle called for her as he walked down the stairs and opened the door to the basement. He walked over to her and stood next to her. "What are ya doing?" He asked curiously. She broke out of her trance and looked at him. "Uh nothing." She said and locked the door before going to the quest room they had down here and walked into it to change her clothes but she was stopped. "Max, why is there blood on your clothes?" Her uncle asked cautiously. "It's nothing, I got a bloody nose and didn't realize it." She reassure him and walked into the room before closing the door.

Bruce watched the exchange, he was already perfectly blende with the woods he watched as the other person closed the basement door. Then he turned and ran or as well as he could deeper into the woods, heading back toward the pack. Something stopped him though the smell of the dead, vampires he looked around, but saw nothing. He had to warn the pack and soon, he ran toward where the pack was hoping to get there as fast as possible.

Max changed and then put her boots on. She put on a coat and walked outside at the edge of the woods. "Hey, are you still there?" She called in a whisper. Honestly it was kinda rude too have someone treat you and then run off without giving a correct thank you. Plus his leg wasnt' going to hold up if he was going to run like he was.

Bruce's ears twitched, hey mike you there he heard the response immediately. tell the alpha vamps are headed your way i got some stuff to attend to he knew mike was already running, amber eyes peeked out of the brush of the woods. Bruce had stopped running to the pack when he had heard max call out, then he had ran back to see what she had wanted. His ears were flat on his head, but he didn't move into the clearing, no way was he taking that chance.

"I don't know if your there. If you are then take care of yourself please. It may seem stupid but I kinda care if you live or die. This is the craziest thing that's ever happened too me. Although if you ever come back we have a quest room you could use. My uncle would let you stay for a bit so your injuries can heal. You shouldn't be running around with your leg like that expecially since you lost so much blood." Max said and took a deep breath. "If your not there then I'm talking to a forest and I've gone crazy.
