Would anyone be heartbroken if I didn't do a huge introduction post? I'm not talking about a post with the characters. But a introduction as in where the game is taking place and things. It's usually the big piece of ignored text in a OP that talks about the rules and such.

Yeah, don't bother with some huge ordeal to set up the plot. Maybe give a few sentences to tell the basic plot in broad strokes for those less familiar with GoT, but no need to go in depth with it.

If it's based on the show, you could simply say "Takes place immediately after the events of Season 1, Episode 7." If you've watched it, you'll know. If you haven't, well, then you're probably just there for the doubt shenanigans anyway.
