[OOC] Demon Souls

"The hell gates are opening, the legions of hell will be unleashed" said the the dark voice inside the mind of Victor Faust
"That is why we are here, the Demon Souls will be awakened" he replied
"They will be children" commented that voice
"Not all of them and they will have there Demons" he replied
"I was talking about the Demons" the voice rebutted
"Then it is a good thing we are here" Victor said as the voice was silent, but he could feel it's grin inside of him. With no more discussion of what is about to happen he leaned forward, starting the ignition of his Black and red Motorcycle, the front having an air brushed picture of a demons Skull before looking over the lights City of Los Angeles, fitting that the end of the world would start in the city of Angels.

Long ago the fallen were cast into hell, forced to live in eternal torment. Souls of the fallen, both human and angel a like, morphed and corrupted into grotesque monsters of nightmares that man kind has come to call Demons. But there was hope for these vile creatures, in the form of a prophecy that one day the gates of hell would open and the legions would spew forth once more onto the world of man and would be un challenged by heaven. That day is soon approaching, but as it grows near, as the hell gates grow in power the Demon Souls awaken. Humans who are born with the soul of a demon, formed from being born near the hell mouths. These Demons Souls are all that stand between hell and the rule over mankind. Though the shadow war has existed since before this time, the demons needed to posses a person to enter our plain, but no longer as they will soon be here in all their true terrible forms.The Demons Souls stir in their eternal slumber, growing in power the closer the day comes, the human host can feel it, seeing dreams of the creatures inside of them, and the creatures that will soon be unleashed on earth. Though the spawn of hell are making there moves, possessing humans hunting down the Demons Souls, trying to stop them before they can be awakened.

So premise is we will posses these Demons Souls, and with in every character they are starting to awaken. How they work is they can manifest themselves near there human host, to protect them. Since there souls are so intermingled though they are one in that they are the same side of the same coin. They are reflections of there human counterparts so some one who is brash and head strong, might have a more logical and clam demon. Each one will possess powers and a unique form though limited in there early life as they are also new demons, only as old as there humans and also gaining consciousnesses for the first time. Over time as the bond between demon and human becomes stronger they start to meld more, the demon able to act further away from there human, and the human growing stronger, though at first this won't be that pronounced. Each character doesn't have to be from Los Angelous, but they will need to be in the city for some reason or another. Also they need to be from near a hell mouth, which there are hundreds of so if anything we can work it out.

History: Victor is unlike the other Demon Souls, in that he was was not born a Demon Soul. As a child he was diagnosed with with cancer, most of his child hood was spent in hospitals. When he was 8 years old it went in to rescission and he was getting better, he was able to start school and start a normal life of a kid. Going to school he was simply happy to be alive and was very adventurous, and for two years he was fine and wasn't showing any signs of relapsing. That was until one day at school he fell down and was vomiting blood and he was rushed to the hospital. The cancer had returned in full force and worse then ever, his entire system was was covered in tumors and it had even moved up into his brain. They tried everything they could, but it was only prolonging the enviable, the young boy was dieing.

One night while he was laying in his bed he dreamed he was in a world of nothing but white. Wondering this empty world soon a dark could started to move, he tried to run but it kept coming fallowing him. He kept running but it kept coming after him till he couldn't run anymore and he was consumed by that darkness. As he curled up in that dark cloud telling him self it was a nightmare. Then a voice spoke from that dark cloud, telling him that he was having no dream. He was in purgatory, the world between life and death, heaven and hell. The child afraid of death the voice offered him a deal, to bond their souls together, giving him a host and allowing the child to live. Unsure what was happening he agreed, waking up in his bed screaming he was surrounded by doctors fighting to save his life.

That morning they started to run test, looking him over they found that all of the cancer was gone, and that he was a shining example of physical health. Every one believed it to be a miracle and he was all over the news, the miracle child who beat cancer. Things were great, that was until one day that voice spoke to him. They had a deal and it was time for the boy to keep up his end of the bargain as that voiced explained to him what that the world was slowly drifting towards the end, and what their role in it would be.

The rest of his life was rigorous training, gearing up getting ready for the end of the world. He even joined became a marine scout sniper for firearms training and combat experience. The True Demon Souls would be awaken to a war they had no knowledge of. The demons inside of them acting mostly on instinct, the deal was set as they would be there guide to war.

Leo was being bullied when he was very young then he realized that the world is really mean and he became one of the bullies.Due to his personality he doesn't have friends.He always get called in the Principal's Office until he was expelled in his school.Leo's family moved into a new city and is living a new life.

History: Lilith was born to Jack and Eva Cross. Two wealthy individuals, who are both CEOs for a large corporation, growing up in wealth made Lilith selfish. She was never one to socialize. Lilith only had two ‘close friends’ when she was in high school. Lilith never really thought them as friends she knew they themselves disliked Lilith. They only stuck with her so they would not have to be the victims of Lilith’s cruelty. She was cruel in her words not actions. She did not like to be pampered. She was not like the other wealthy kids. Lilith was not cruel because of her high statues she was cruel because it was a high for her. After graduating high school she dumped her ‘friends’ and got an internship at her parents company. Even though she was only an intern at the company her cruelty went on without repercussions because of her parents being CEOs. Jack and Eva Cross could never believe their child to be anything but an angel. So the victims of Lilith would never do anything but take the hits.

History: Gabriel's parents were both cops. He was named after the Archangel by his parents and was taught throughout all his life what was good and what was evil. After he graduated High School, he decided to attend college, and he took criminal justice hoping to become a cop after college. While traveling with his dad, to see what it was like to be a cop, his father was gunned down. As a result, he has no care for evil and hopes to eliminate every evil person in the world, through whatever means.

Personality: Despite his frightening nature, Bogg is in fact a wise and caring individual and, unlike gabriel, can see the good in evil people.
Power: Healing, but suffers damage in proportion to the damage healed, as well as acrobatics.

@Poison: hmm so I'm hoping her demon is going to be a sort of a conscience for her, cause other wise she seems to be a bit more of an antagonist then a protagonist. If that is the case she is fine, if not I would ask that you tone down the homicidal sociopathness.

No not yet, but you can sort of feel them inside of you. Your character having had strange dreams over that last few months and as the night goes on they are feeling restless, like something is clawing to get out (because well something literally is) so they don't really know what is going on and after the first post they all feel the pull to the spot where Victor is.

a week ago:
Chris was running Through the woods again away from Some Faceless Creature it Followed endlessly Each dream was longer then the last Now this dream seemed to span for ages. Chris Slipped on some wet Grass and was sent tumbling to the Floor The Creature On its spiderlike appendages Loomed its faceless head closer "wake up" it muttered in a raspy ancient voice, Chris woke Up. He tried to tell people about the creature But many denied its existence said it was a Story Turned it into a creepy pasta and a urban legend. Chris tried hard not to sleep ending up tired most of the time. he was running from the inevitable. the creature would sometimes speak to him in the day A tiny whisper saying "open your eyes" Chris found it hard to fit in He could not help but feel sorry for the creature that lived but could not Truely live He felt a warmth and a coldness in his soul. he trys to deny its existence but that is impossible task...

also @ everyone, I am wanting this to be a darker themed RP I mean, we are gearing up for the end of the world here. So keep the physical slap stick comedy out, characters being sarcastic or making light of situations is one thing. But also try to remember that for the most part you are all normal people, about to be stuck in the middle of horrific events so I'm also wanting some kind of emotional range here, once it gets going things are going to start to get brutal.
