Alrighty then. *knuckles cracked* And that's why I had a backup idea (more a variation on the same character) in store. Next question! What effect does the original genetic stock have on the transformation? Do specific traits connect to specific species? Would members of the same family become the same sort of creature? And if so, would hybrid types be possible due to certain genetic combinations (this has less to do with the specific character, and more to do with world building)?

In order: So far, there are no traits tied to any species, so, the answer is no.
Yes, members of the same family would end up as the same (or a similar) creature.
and... one of the main species is a hybrid (read: dracoavian) outside of chimeras (which I may consider as a possible hybrid species or result), however, none have been found.

Then gotta give some news to fawcettp: I changed the name from the Black Knights to the Blue Knights, 'cause realistically, I don't really think the colour black would signify anything good. Blue means they're at least trying to change the world, 'cause it represents either guardians or the police, or even both.

i went black knights not because of their cause but because without the electronic assistance to help dye things black is a hell of a lot easier to colour than anything else (this i know from experience).

its called black knights in reference to the armor they all wear, the black colouring is just because it would be the easiest to apply to the majority of equipment not my art experience.

I'm the Gm... but I kinda agree with Kabling. There would still be clothing, at the very least, any clothing that you weren't wearing at the time.
So, yeah, we'd still have modern shirts, it'll just take a while before we can get colors that vivid again...
and there's plenty of blue shirts in the world.

i can see your point, but the whole idea behind these guys is not meant to be law enforcement returning to work, but rather a new order to the world that would rather use their new gifts to enforce the law over the use of old equipment and gear. was thinking it might even possibly clash with some of the old police who still work.

No. In fact, there's little chance there'll be an official name, since law and order has collapsed for the time being.

Just a heads up for everyone: If you want a indication of setting and such, you may want to read the original DA. Just note bits of it are retconned further on into the RP.
