Noticing everything else come to a grinding halt, Ventus and Vanitas walk over to stand by Michael, the trio now looking towards the fresh face deciding to make an appearance.

"Why....didn't...you..save me....?" She asks, her body mangled. She makes no move to attack, but she seems...disappointed in you. She shuffles forwards. "I..should be asking...how many times do you actually save me, rather than let me down, let me...suffer....?" She asks, her form starting to warp. The wounds begin to look familiar...when Tsubaki attempted to go back in time..the results of that, the bullet wounds, the bruises.....

@Tyki Matt doesn't eat the food, doesn't use the shower, and refuse to come into contact with Sergal technology. He only sat down on the couch after scanning it three times with his internal scanner. He refused to allow the Sergal doctor to do his/her job, instead using the technology to heal himself. And even then he only used the crudest of methods available, checking it twice. He made no use of painkillers or drugs, nor of anything else that could possibly affect him negatively. It was clear that he was only using the Sergal technology at all because of the possibility of death from his wounds.

Finally, Matt returned to the main room, where Nathan would be waiting, along with whatever representative of the Sergal had chosen to be present for the debriefing. Looking around the room, he scanned the chair briefly. He then took a seat. "So, I believe all of you are here to know about the creatures that attacked me on my ship. As such, I will tell you all I know."

"You're just a failure...you couldn't protect me from anything...." She growls, starting to grow more hellish. "You couldn't do anything at all!"

"good." mute replies evenly, having shown up with a small recording device on the table along with some tea, making a point to pour herself a cup and take a long sip from it just so that matt could be sure it was safe, the kettle being an old fashioned porcelain one while the cookies were still fairly fresh.

"...you're right." I say "I was always too weak.... however. If I could turn back time, I would at least try harder." I lower my katanas and add "but since I can't, I'll have to focus on doing a better job in the future."

"I'm more worried about the plot hole...." Nathan says, leaning against a wall. He too, didn't eat anything, didn't shower...he partook of nothing. "and I'd get to the point quickly, I'd prefer if our empires weren't destroyed by it..."

Almost like a t.v loosing the signal, the monster's form begins to distort, as if fading.
"You won't get the chance to be stronger!" She calls out.

"Don't worry about the Plot Hole. It is no longer a necessary tool." Matt sighs. "The creatures you saw were brought here by me. In an attempt to improve my portal matrix, I accidentally opened an interdimensional portal. This pulled through a swarm of these beings from a previously undiscovered dimension, and they swiftly began attacking both me and my defense forces. Mistakenly, I believed them to be contained, and attempted to study them. This lead to an outbreak that wiped out one of my planets, and spawned several fleets of these creatures. They appear to not only be able to adapt, altering their biological forms to become more dangerous, but they further also have the ability to rebuild themselves from biomass. They sustain no casualties if they are able to retreive the corpses, and can transform other biomass to increase their number. They are an infection that is nearly impossible to stem, and form an icnredible threat the the universe. If they manage to gain multidimensional capabilities, they might form a threat to the Multiverse as a whole."

She screams, warping and fading more, and Jessica begins to growl. About this time, the masked figure would arrive.

The man is revealed to be someone they all met once. The bounty hunter, Gunner.
"So, trying to use...well, I guess the good word for this, is friends, Jessica? Not content killing my family, now you need to try and make me more miserable?" He asks, his normally joking tone replaced with a dead serious disgust.
"Hehehehe. Trust me, these poor fools are full of regret just like you....fitting you'd surround yourself with such people..well, one of them was, but the other two here seem to be getting..annoying. No matter, you're still going to pay for what you did..." Jessica says, going from coy to angry.

"Hmph, if we can find them, my empire can deal with them. I doubt these monsters have good magical defenses." Nathan says. He then glances to the Sergal sitting across from them. His eyes convey distrust.

"while we'll be safe from them our allies shall not due to their lack of expediency required to shift planets. unfortunately we also lack effective siege capabilities in order to burn out this infestation. we'll most likely need to work together in order to manage getting through something like this. what can you add to the table?" mute asks evenly, pointing at matt as she asks, her gaze steeled as he could recognize a mind racing with all the calculations necessary to complete such a feat in her eyes.

"I'm guessing she took you though that whole thing with the spirits, the kid running around?" He asks. "...That kid, was me. Surprised no one looked into the photo at my house....pretty sure that it was still there. Oh well, nothing of matter now..." He says, cracking his neck. "Jessy there, she feeds off of regret, and misery....fuel for her fire. It's the only reasons she's alive..."

"Your misery alone could sustain me for a millennium my old friend...." Jessica snickers, making Gunner start to growl.

"Of course, this weapon is hidden deep within Ygdrassil, and I might require some help retrieving it. I believe this is the only weapon capable of truly dealing with the Tyranid threat, as they will inevitably adapt to whatever is used to stop them. After some time, I have no doubt they will become resistant to magic, and even create new forms capable of hunting down magical beings."
