Failed my driving test. It was my first time taking it though, so I can attribute that to nerves and ignorance. Okay, so maybe I need to practice more… Had to do a three point road turn and in fear of running into the grass while reversing, I actually slightly ran into the grass while turning forward. Then I ended up on the other side of the road while reversing… and I sped into the turns a bit too fast.

It fucking sucks because I know I’m a competent driver, I’m just not very good on the maneuvers and I get nervous during tests.

Have any one-ways thrown at you? Those always fucked me up. Almost getting hit in the DMV parking lot might have had something to do with it too.

Nah, none of those. I wasn’t really familiar with the area, the only reason we went there was because the wait was far shorter than the DMV in town. I probably ought to go to that one next time, my friends tell me it’s easier anyway.

Small areas tend to be more flexible in my experience.

Victoria is small, like less than 80k people. Vancouver I feel a bit nervous about if I ever need to go there, only because it is a city of 578,000+ and has highways like a goddamn labyrinth. But with gps, I'm sure I wouldn't have too many issues.

Highways, country, mountains, single-lane back roads? No issues.
