"yes? you want to say something?" Logan asked with a kind voice, the man was twisting on the floor because of the pain, soon the police was in the place
"how about i invite youan ice cream, brave girl?"

Who is this guy? Serenity thought.

"Sure, but I don't even know your name. I'm the White Guardian, but you can call me Serenity." She said. She held out her hand. She didn't get the sense that he was mean or a bad guy. She smiled and followed him to get ice cream. She was excited to be meeting someone new, making friends was a great way to settle in. Plus she was glad to get away from the large crowd.

Armelia shooked her head. "Nova. Next time. Lemme cook!" She said looking at Fauna eatingNova's food. She would look at her with an icky face as she would turn around and walk away to her room. Armelia closed the door behind her and plopped on her bed grabbing a fashion magazine and began to read it.

"Uh. Im hungry but I am not going to eat that." And with that she outside of her window sighing. "Maybe. I should go outside.."

"my name Lo...Loren, Nice too meet you Serenity. Are you a ten titan?" Logan asked, it was obvious she was but that kind of silly questions were just the first step to make her trust him.
"Well, this is my favourite ice cream shop, eat all you want"

She blushed yet again. His question shocked her though, she would of thought for sure he was a teen titan. Maybe her eyes were messing with her before?

"Actually no.." she seemed ashamed for some reason "I was going to try and join today but I guess I got a little sidetracked." Serenity rubbed the back of her head again.His question made her wonder if she was even good enough to join the Teen Titans.

She walked into the ice cream shop. "But thank you for taking me here!" She looked at all the delicious flavors. Yum!!

You definitely did bring us together, Matt said to Nova with a self joy smile on his face But not by the way you intended to. Matt walked towards the pot with something like goo inside, looked at it, then at Nova You understand you're not human? Can humans like me actually eat it? after what he looked at Fauna licking the floor like the goo drops she licked was the first food she ever tasted in 10 years Well, I guess we can...but we need to do something with that smell, there is no way anyone in their right mind will eat such stinky food. Matt walked towards a kitchen cabinet, opened it and took out a bowl which was filled with dried dill after what he literally dropped the whole bowl of dill inside the so called Glorrk and slowly mixed it inside. Matt leaned closer to the pot and sniffed the aroma coming out of it This is better! he happily announced after what he took a little bit of the Glorrk to taste it as Fauna said it was delicious Mmm, not so bad, really not... he said and looked at Armelia Ummm, Amelia, right?...Come taste it, would you? but she just turned around and walked to her room. Maybe I should have asked that louder? Matt thought to himself Yeah, she probably didn't hear me...

Logan got lemon ice cream for himself and with a sweet smile carresed Serenity's head again
"you were really brave today. you helped inocent people so you didnt get sidetracked, you did what teen titans do so...be happy you shall be a great heroine"

Serenity ordered an Oreo ice cream and smiled.

"Do you really think so? I love helping people. Thank you. I've never met anyone who thought that. You're really kind." She lost all doubt of not becoming a teen titan and decided to enjoy her time with Loren. They sat down at a table and enjoyed their delicious treat.

"so...you are not human? but..wow...you sure are pretty" Logan begun flirting , people passed by and looked at the girl and continued walking.

Serenity's eyes widen in fear. Did he know who she was? She gulped but decided to act natural. The comment of her beauty made her face turn completely red like a rose.

"Oh.. Umm.." She laughed "No, I'm not human.." She didn't know why she told him this, she just met him. She hoped he wouldn't ask where she came from. I just got here and I'm already telling someone my secret? She kept yelling at herself in her mind. How could she be so stupid? She really wanted to believe she could trust this man.

"oh well, if you dont feel like talking about that we can talk about something else," he looked aside a ffew seconds "oh. so you like the ice cream?"

"Thanks.." She sighed in relief. She didn't know what she would do if he would of kept asking questions. People were really starting to look at her now. The news about her saving the young girl must have spread. Just what she needed.. She looked at the guy sitting in front. He was very mysterious and there was something strange about him. I wonder how old he was..She licked her ice cream and smiled.

"Yeah, it's delicious. Thanks again.Hey.. umm.. I'm sorry if I'm asking too much but how old are you?" She asked, hoping she wasn't being rude.

"How about instead of eating that stinky mess, let's have some fish, that'll actually be tasty" Hadrian said to the others. Because he was wearing his trench-coat, no one could see his mouth moving and only could hear his voice thanks to his body being completely hidden in the shadows so only his outline and inhumane red eyes could be visible. Because he was annoyed, his eyes glowed a bit and he was giving off small waves of fear. He still wasn't sure if joining the Teen Titans was such a good idea and wondered if he should have stayed a loner.

"Its not that bad, trust me.." Matt interrupted Hadrian, Plus, Nova was making it for all of us and it would be rude to not at least try.The one thing that Matt knew very well, besides his powers, was how to take care of someone. Being the boy that grew up with his grandparents, he had to do a lot of stuff that you normally do in farms in Texas. The only difference was not at such young age. Matt grabbed a bunch of bowls and put them near the pot. With help of Nova who was excited about his prepared meal, taking bowl by bowl and filling them with the goo look-a-like food the dinner was being served. This was something that Matt could do and feel as himself as he was not afraid of any kind of work. After few minutes the bowls were full and already put on the dinning table. All that was left was to call everyone to come to eat. Matt looked at Fauna and said "Umm, Fauna?" he paused to think "Would you mind to run by the room doors and call everyone to come to eat?" and stared at Fauna in wait of an answer.

"Of course!" She answered sweetly. She began skipping toward her friend's room. She knocked on every door and called out.

"Dinners ready! Please come and eat!" She told everyone. She hummed a tune and giggled as she made her way back to the dinner table. The table was set with the food Nova had prepared. She loved it!

"Thank you Nova! This is amazing!" She cried as she began eating the food. Without realizing it, a long catlike tail popped out of her lower back and wiggled while she ate the food.

Armelia could hear Fauna yelling for them to come out. Since, dinner was ready. She was not going to eat it! Armelia then walked towards her door and opened it. "Why, do I have to eat that? If I dont. I'll feel bad and then Nova will be sad." She sighed thinking to herself as she made her way to the dinning table. Where she sat down on a chair looking at the food. Armelia wanted to throw up because it didnt smell good but she kept a straight face up. She cuffed a hair string
behind her ear now looking at the others.

As slowly as she could, she grabbed a fork and took a bite. She chewed and.... so weird and surpisingly. It tasted good! "Wow..." her eyes widened smiling.

"well, how old do you think i am?" Logan asked before finishing his ice cream and stood up
"well, it was nice too meet you, if we meet again i will tell you my age" Logan put his hands in hus pockets and walked away

Hadrian glared at Matt and said rudely, "I don't know if you learned in your backwards home, but some of us know that we have a right to decided what want to eat. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to find some real food"

He didn't care if he was being mean, all he cared about was keeping the world safe from monsters and all sorts of evil things. He walked past Matt, giving him another angry glare, daring him to say something back to him. Hadrian was going to leave the headquarters and find some proper food to eat.

Serenity watched the man leave. Her face still a little red. She stayed at the ice cream shop for a while. People were still whispering and looking at her but she ignored them. Her thoughts were about the man who had left. Who was he? She had no idea that was for sure. She continued eating her ice cream and thought about him.
