I am interested in the steam, bio, aquan, world punk. The time gap between posts would allow me for a in depth reply and time on my other projects. I'm guessing I would GM the world and your character would be the steam punker freshly outfitted ready to see the world and its wonders. Having a whole world to explore would keep things interesting and fresh. The picture below is a rough draft of what I had envisioned.

Skills: can be anything, I assume the character can read and write I am more interested to see if the character had a doctorate in bio mechanical surgery of some syfy skill. Can they pilot a steam ship or craft a small personal suit of steam power armor.
Ideas:
What if they inherited money to travel and hired a crew to help he/she travel to far off lands. Maybe they could track down lost loved ones or travelers the land getting packages or letters to far off places. These are just topics that I just thought of to get the ball rolling. Hi. I never do 1x1 because I'm not interested in the romance setting they usually demand. But I've read your OP and liked that you feel, as I do, that romance is secondary to the plot and only if the story calls for it. Having said that, I am interested in the Spy plot:

Situation 1: MC and YC are from the same organization/government and are assigned to a mission that goes terribly wrong.

My idea is based on an old RP I had GM about a secret CIA agency that works outside of Langley and from Congressional oversight. Though they are monitored and constantly investigated by the NSC. The story arc, involves the investigation of unexplained phenomena, secret organizations, conspiracy theories, and UFO sighting investigation. But since you are not keen on aliens we can focused on investigating conspiracy theories. We can discuss the details and plan a proper plot together. Or, if you are interested in something else that will work too. I'm pretty easy. I will be playing a female character and don't really care what gender you choose. And I rather play in an open thread, no PM's. Let me know if this works for you?

Actually with 1x1 I don't care for "GM"s as it were. I prefer a collaborative state where we both bring ideas to the table, discuss where we want to take the story and things we want to see. As opposed to one guy running the show and the other getting dragged along. (Plus, I'm a terrible backseat driver) If you wouldn't mind working with me, send me a PM to let me know you're interested.
