yeah thankfully it wont be everyone trying to get my sister for a girlfriend" Lorenzo said jokingly smiling at them "my name is Lorenzo by the way" Lorenzo said to the new girl smiling a little glad that kiddo didn't seem so sad at least not at the moment when he brought over the cute girl with him to see us. for moment Lorenzo thought that kiddo was hiding her from us she seemed shy but she was cute that way. Lorenzo smiled waiting for ren to get his steak glad to have everyone here for lunch and even the new girl considering she didn't seem like the arrogant jag off that the guy hax was before thinking he was all that and asking Lorenzo if he could hold his sword. The nerve of that guy still kinda got Lorenzo upset but Lorenzo was with friends now so he shouldn't let it bother him, right now Lorenzo was wondering if the new girl would be their new friend and that Lorenzo and Cassandra would have to let the cat out of bag eventually with her...

"Yeah yeah yeah" Hax replied to Oliva. He remembered about his situation, and decided not to go on about it. "You are probably right about that, sorry." he apologized, seeing that Kiddo and Lorenzo had left. This was the first time she would of ever heard him apologize, but it was likely that she wouldn't think it was genuine. It seemed like it wasn't but Hax was genuinely apologizing. It wasn't that his remarks were wrong, but he needed to surely change his attitude. She was after all older than him at least, she had at least more life experience. Hax's fights with the demons flashed for a moment. Too many to count.

*sigh* Need to adjust Hax mentally sighed, going back to grip Cyrono and Infernus. Don't worry Master. You will get used to it, don't give up. Anyway, you don't have to be like you used to be, so lighten up. The voices of the demons inside the weapons, Cyrono and Infernus were talking to him in his mind. Thanks guys.

"Anyway, that Lorenzo, what kind of demon is he? He knows not to give his sword out, which is good, but is still a kid. Immature, and quick to act. I wasn't aggressive or forceful, I even told him he could turn me down, and he still went for his blade, and threatened. Just a kid, still unable to control anything." He asked and informed Oliva of his opinion on Lorenzo. He then muttered inaudible to Oliva, "Not that I can really say that."

"So, what is it that you think I should do now? Don't really got anything now."

"I guess everyone's meal is on me today." Ren said with fake disdain. "And why do you both get girls in your rooms?!" He paused for a few seconds and mumbled under his breath while slumping to the table. "It's so unfair.." He picked himself back up quickly enough after his little show realizing there was a woman in front of him. "I'm Ren by the way! Lily, right? The pleasures all mine." Did you really have to stand up and bow? Yes, yes you did. Ren loved being a clown, and the role fit him well. As long as they all accepted him like that, he'd keep up with the antics.

"Well, I'll go grab the food and whatnot, anything in particular you want guys?" Ren said to everyone but Cassandra seeing as he already told him.

Oliva snorted "why would I go giving out information about another student? Ask him if you are so curious although he won't tell you" Oliva said "he's older then you and is not a kid. He has faced more difficulties then you, despite your history and experience with demons and will continue to do so. And you can't understand that no more then I can, despite your demon blades. And it's worse for him because of his sister. As for what you can do now, I image you will do what you always do and train" she said with a shrug "or eat and talk, but I suspect you won't do that so..." She shrugged again, and packed away the training swords.

She knew that she could be a little easier on Hax, but Oliva had already developed a liking to the foursome, and Haxs attitude was based assumptions and cockiness, and she didn't think like that. She sighed "I have to go talk with Simon."

"No, uh, I'm okay. Thank you though." Lilly said while sitting down. She shy and didn't know much about these people. To be honest they kind of scared her. She got a weird but good feeling from them. One that made you scared but in a good way. I hope they don't think I'm stupid. They probably do. She thought to herself.

"I'm going back to the dorm, I don't really feel like eating. Besides i have something important to do." Kiddo said while turning around and walking. "Also, have fun with your new friends Lilly." Then he was gone. Lilly was left alone with people she didn't know. Of course she didn't know Kiddo but he was the first one she met.

"Uh, so how are you guys?" Lilly asked trying to make small talk among her new friends.

"Lorenzo, no smugness" Cassandra said "I'm good." She said to Lilly "what miester have you chosen?" She asked curiously "I've chose. Doctor-Knight, for various reasons that you will probably find out eventually" she said, taking a drink of water. She waved a hand at the boys "don't mind them. They're harmless. Enthusiastic, energetic, and maybe a bit bat crap crazy, but harmless" Cassandra said with a smile and a glance at Ren and Lorenzo. She did wonder why Kiddo ran off and hoped everything was okay

"I picked doctor. I'm, uh, not much of a fighter and it's never appealed to me. So, I picked doctor." Lilly said while looking at Cassandra. She noticed the glove on her hand. "Uh, if you don't mind me asking. Uhm, why are you wearing that glove?" Lilly questioned. "I- uh- sorry, uh. I'm sorry for asking. If you don't want to answer then please forgive me." Lilly added in embarrassed, hoping she didn't hurt Cassandra's feelings.

Lilly was awkward like that. She didn't like making people feel bad or putting them in weird positions.

Kiddo

I wounder if Lorenzo told them what happened? Kiddo asked himself in his head while walking back to his dorm. If not I'll need to tell them that I won't be here for a day.I'd ask if anybody wanted to come but they need to focus on school. Also, they need to show Lilly the ropes I guess. Finally Kiddo arrived back at his dorm. He dumped out his back pack and filled it with simple things. One change of clothes, his glasses, phone charger and brush along with deodorant.

After that he headed to the school's offices. When he got there he walked up to the desk lady. "I will be missing school Friday Ma'am."

"Why is that?" The lady asked looking up from her computer.

"My father has passed away and I need to travel back to my hometown for the funeral. I can bring back one of those cards that the funeral hand out."

"Yes, that will be okay. I'm sorry for your loss." The lady said to Kiddo then turned back to her computer. Kiddo walked back to his dorm waiting for his friends to get there.

Cassandra bit her lip and looked down at her gloved left hand. She could lie, but Lilly might find out about it, and that hadn't worked too well with Ren and kiddo, had it? Although Ren and kiddo weren't fully aware of what she and Lorenzo were. And that's why she still his the mark of a demon king on her hand.

If Lilly was to be a part of their team, then it meant she had a right to know, since Ren and Kiddo did. "Um. It's kind of a complicated story, and one I would rather not have the whole cafeteria know. But..." She bit her lip again, looking to Lorenzo for help. "But if you're to be a part of our team, then you have a right to know...just...I really don't want to freak you out, or have everyone in the cafeteria overhear. So later, okay?"

"Yeah yeah yeah" Hax replied, with a sigh. "Just say you don't want to tell me next time. He may be older than me, but that doesn't change the fact that he immature and got defensive too quickly. A simple no suffices, threats are unnecessary since I did not even attempt to approach. Anyway, as an exwire, I thought I did some of the simple stuff for exorcists, like yourself. Like carry things or what not. If there is nothing, then I guess there's nothing left to do."

Cyrono started to speak in Hax's mind, You should really work on your speak more Master. Yeah, yeah. It's not that easy. And how am I supposed to trust anyone. I can't even trust the director who took me in. All I am doing is running for now, and you know that. Taking a break I guess you could say. He knows he will have to face that family one day. When, he was not sure. The director had been keeping track of the families since Hax's enrollment. But he could not trust the information for sure.

"Well, enjoy talking with Simon, if you need me for anything, I'll be on a rooftop." Hax said, letting go of Cyrono in his left hand and giving a small wave as he walked away. Resuming his hold of both Cyrono and Infernecus, he started to make his way outside, so he could jump onto a rooftop. He didn't care if people saw him, there was no need for him to bother. Not like anyone will care or anything, seeing me up here. Infernecus started to speak, Well, since you are going up in a more normal way than a single jump, it is less suspicious, but won't people worry that you wish to suicide Master? It's fine, not like I will fall or anything. And like I was saying, no-one will care or bother with me. Climbing his way up, he walked around on the rooftop, and laid down, still holding onto Infernecus and Cyrono, training. Looking up at the noon sky,

yeah no worries were just normal kids with tails and pointy ears" Lorenzo said finishing up what Cassandra was saying about the glove hand. the least they would do was give her a hint but Lorenzo laughed a little making it seem like a joke to her so that way she wouldn't be so quick to run because Lorenzo and Cassandra really didn't think of themselves as demons or as evil monsters just teenagers like them if lilly could laugh at the lame joke then maybe their was hope for her yet to be one of the real friends they have. Of course their was no way in hell that they would tell her or their friends about being the children of a demon king to them Cassandra and Lorenzo were children of demons end of story although that's only if they don't research what white flames relate to in the demon research books they had as Lorenzo waited on ren to get their food...

"His blade isn't a blade like your two, Hax. Yours are demon blades, infused with demonic souls, and you created contact with them, and they accepted you, as you accepted them" Oliva said "Lorenzo's is different" She headed out the room, looking back at catching the small wave.

She sighed, and began to search for Simon, and had a small talk with him.

Simon sighed. He began to make his way through the school, climbing up the stairs to the roof. He had a couple of sandwiches in his hand, and he had an easy smile on his face. He climbed the stairs easily, appearing not to even be phased at the number of stairs. He leaned against the door, open, to the roof. "Hiya Hax" He said easily, 'Hungry?" He asked, walking towards the young man. "i got sandwiches"

While looking up, he recalled her words, "Lorenzo's is different." I know it's a sword sealing his demon half. It's obvious enough. I mean, given I asked about what kind of demon he is, then yeah, it's obvious I know. Anyway, it's still the same, the blade will tell all. The blade is the one that tells the story, not the demon, not anything else. I've dealt with a couple of half demons, whom attacked others in self-defense. I know their stories, all through the blade. Cyrono spoke, Don't let it get to you. She doesn't understand. Yeah ... Suddenly hearing someone climb the stairs, Hax could identify who it was based on the footsteps, and the limited number of people who ever approached him.

"What do you want Simon?" Hax spoke aloud, as Simon was opening the door. Being offered food, Hax sighed. "Sure, whatever." He started to sit up. Simon seemed to be one of the very few in the whole Academy that approached Hax. Turning around, he saw the jolly giant approach him, offering a sandwich. Taking one, Hax informed Simon, "Oliva was just looking for you, you know? What are you doing here anyway? I doubt it's just to give me sandwiches." Hax questioned Simon's motives. Inspecting the sandwich, Hax then started to eat from it, while waiting for a response from Simon.

Lilly

Lilly gave a small laugh at Lorenzo's remark. She hadn't noticed the tails until he mentioned them. The tails were cute and she liked them. The pointed ears reminded her of elves from her story books that she read growing up. Lilly noticed Ren coming back with the lunches. Lilly didn't ask for anything when he went up to get them so she didn't expect anything.

After Ren sat down and passed out the lunched she stood up. "I'll be back in a second. I need to use the bath room." Lilly the walked to the bath room. She looked in the mirror and washed her hands while thinking about what to get herself for lunch.

Kiddo

kiddo was looking at the sky. He was on the roof of the dorms. He didn't have to leave for another day. He was waiting for his friends to get back to they're dorms but decided he needed fresh air. the sky was a nice shade of blue and there were no clouds in the sky. A slight breeze blew through Kiddo's hair. He looked at his back pack and pulled out his phone and headphones. He then took out his contacts and put on his glasses. His eyes hurt a little so he decided to take out the contacts.

Kiddo then plugged in his head phones to his phone and began playing music. Music was his medicine when he was sad. He wasn't sad very often though. He was usually very cheerful and happy. Kiddo sighed and laid down on the roof. He closed his eyes and fell asleep.

why thank you ren for our meal" Lorenzo said grinning as he dug into his steak and fries loving the taste of it, he would almost never get a good steak like this again so Lorenzo was savoring every bite of it Lorenzo nodded to lily who left and when she was gone Lorenzo looked seriously at ren and Cassandra "we cant tell her yet, she barly knows any of us and if we tell her about what we are she will freak and run." Lorenzo warned both of them knowing that being a demon spawn isn't something easy to take in as ren was a prime example of that but he got Lorenzo a steak and fries so he was cool about it but he looked to Cassandra letting her know that on day one to know about demon spawn isn't the best time to talk about it

"I've already spoken with her" Aimon said shrugging, then shook his head, "I like the roof. It's quite, and the view is great. I've been here 21 years, yet the roof is still my favorite place. Besides, I knew you would be here, and I wanted to ask how your training was going. And to tell you that you can't keep pushing yourself constantly. Strictly speaking as a doctor, your probably doing more damage to your body then good. Do you stretch after you train?" Simon sat down without being invited, and tore into his sandwich happily, "by stretching you promote blood flow to your muscles and help heal any damage you've done training" he said as he swallowed a mouthful of food. Simon spoke calmly, friendly, and genuinely. He had soon gobbled up his sandwich.

Cassandra squirmed with slight uneasy at the reminder of the ears and tail, sighing softly and nodding when Lilly rose, she took her lunch, eating a few fries. "Why? So we can have a reply of yesterday? She has a right to know if Ren and Kiddo do" she said to Lorenzo wearily. "She'll find out, and then think we don't trust her. We can't go about training pretending we are something we aren't anymore." She sighed

"Hm... What did you talk about? If you don't mind me asking." Hax asked, uninterested. Simon's talk about being a doctor was shrugged off by Hax. He didn't know who it was who helped treat him when he first came to the academy, but he didn't really care. Whether it was Simon or someone else, he was thankful, but that means they know just how many scars he is hiding. Curiosity might occur and it'd become a nuisance so asking about who was the doctor who treated Hax was something he wasn't going to do. "Yeah yeah, I stretch. After most sessions I stretch for a couple of minutes." Finishing of his sandwich, Hax went back to lying down, hands behind his head, stretching out his body. "I don't bother to check the progression of the training. I just do what I do." His training mostly included swordsmanship, agility runs, marksmanship wielding capacity, as he called it. Anything outside of that he called practice. Even if it was weight lifting, he seemed to call it practice. More so because he was keeping his muscle tone rather than improving it. Same with studies, practiced the ability to study. He had most of the knowledge one needed or even available about demons already.

"Anyway, why don't you go cheer up that kid over there, on top of that roof? I'm sure he needs cheering up." Hax angled his head, indicating the roof of the dorms, where Kiddo was. It was not that he wanted to chase Simon away, he just couldn't handle him very well for long periods. He was like that with anyone really. Unable to keep up conversation, unable to get along. Just a small chat and brush along, most of the time rubbing people the wrong way. It was one of his awkward points, and things he felt he was never going to be able to do. Something that he, a human, lacked, yet he has seen demons better off than him. He just needed to keep going though. Right now, he could not open up to anyone, trust no-one. That's all he knew. For now, that's how he lived.

their is a difference between having the right to know and telling someone something prematurely. im not saying no but do you think we can tell everyone about us? look Cassandra I know your right about telling her but your wrong about when. I just want to make sure the right people know, she's as shy as a mouse and if we tell her about what we are then how do we know she wont run and scream for help" Lorenzo said softly knowing he hated not trusting people but he felt the stares of fear long enough and he didn't want someone in the school he would have class with to have them after they try to tell her the situation. Although the girl may have laughed when Lorenzo mentioned the tail and ears that doesn't mean she wont see us differently after Lorenzo and Cassandra tell her about them. Lorenzo simply wants to make sure their both safe and right now telling a new girl wasn't the best plan until they know more about her "look how about we just ask about her get to know her first then it might be a good idea" Lorenzo said offering a compromise about the idea...

Simon shrugged, "just how the other two newbies went" Simon said, "bright kids, and determined. They'll go far, I'm sure. They seem to be supportive, which is good. They'll be a great team" Simon said, again shrugging "good good, at least you're looking after you body, even if you're not yourself" Simon looked over to Kiddo, and his gaze softened. "He's asleep. I'll talk with him later, or his friends will" he said softly.

Simon sighed, and rose as the silence stretched, "Hax, you can't do everything alone, even with those two blades. Just think about that. You need to learn to recognize when people are concerned, and when people care" with that, Simon left the rooftop, heading back downstairs, he grabbed another sandwich, and ate that as he walked back to his classroom.

Cassandra sighed "she's training with us. What happens if tomorrow another demon appears, or one if us looses control? Or something? We can't risk that; not again" she sighed again, finishing off her chips and wrapping up her sandwich for later. "I won't risk it again. I'll give her some time, but..." She shrugged, "we can figure it out" she picked up her pack, taking out her note book

Lilly walked out of the bath room to the Soda machine. She got herself a soda and went back to sit with her new friends. She didn't know if they accepted her as their friend but she accepted them at least a little. She got back just in time to hear Cassandra say something then pull out her notebook. "Hey guys." Lilly said sitting back down next to Cassandra. Lilly took a drink of her soda. "What time do classes start in the morning?" Lilly asked, looking around the table waiting for an answer.
