[OOC] The Last Stand of Humankind

The world we once knew... It is no more... The world we once tought was our kingdom... Was our own destruction...
We tought we could control it... Just as we tought we could use it as our advantage... And yet... It became our destruction...
We caused our own deaths, just as we caused our own technologie to destroy the utopia of mankind...
Droids creating their own minds... Building their own weapons... Enslaving humankind...
Bracelets around their neck... Making them mindless slaves... Destroying their own flesh and blood...
And this all because of that A.I. that we started up years ago... Creating a mind for each droid... Creating a warzone for mankind...
And destroying our one and only home we truelly knew... Planet Earth...
For now, the only thing that remains are ashes... Debris of buildings... And our last stand of humankind...

A group of highly trained soldiers were standing within a underground cave, listening to their captain speaking. They all listened quite carefully for their plan to take down the A.I. was about to start...
"Listen up peeps! We are going to take down this A.I. on the old fashioned way! A group shall create a distraction, while the others shall dig underneath it and destroy it from below! After this is done, we shall be free again from the horrors of the upper surface!"
They all started to cheer, their captain knew what he was talking about, and they all knew that once this was over, they could return to their old lives...
But before they could even move out, something horrible happened... The cave was breached, just like they had planned to attack the A.I.
The droids dug a hole underneath them, brought down a few soldiers while they arised from the ground and started to shoot down soldier after soldier...
The only thing the humans could do, was run for their lives, so that they could live another day, and so that they could have their revenge atlast!

But in the end... Just a small group survived, a two highly trained soldiers, two scientists, two engineers, and two civilians... The group was just a hand full of people, and now it was up to them to gain back the surface...
As they found a new place to stay, one of the soldiers scouted the place... What he found there, was something that could be their salvation... Mecha's, ancient Mecha's who had to be destroyed, now they could finally strike back at the enemy using the power of these Mecha's at their advantage... Although these old rusty Mecha's were useless now, once polished and brought back to life, they could plan their attack and take down the droids one by one...

The World

The year 2243, the world the humans once knew, destroyed by their own weapons! Once the first droids came, they listened to everything the humans said. The A.I. did exactly what it was supposed to do and after a few upgrades of the droids, making them slaves for the humans, the A.I. turned against them.
First the droids were just simple beings, they were the servants of the rich, after more upgrades were given to the droids, making them faster, highly adjustable and even giving them weapons, the army even got filled with them, making humans live a luxery life without worries. But after the A.I. went on a rampage, the humans knew what had to be done, they had to destroy their own creation, before it would be to late!
But instead of destroying them, they only gained more and more strenght, each nuclear bomb that was launched at the A.I., was absorbed and used as a powersource for the droids themselves, making them stronger than before, making them able to adjust towards their landscape and becoming the danger the humans once lost.
After the A.I. took control, the world was created towards the A.I.'s vision, towards the thoughts of the A.I. itself! And this meant destroying every single humanbeing, no mather what the cost was. Even if it had to destroy the planet, for the droids only needed the A.I.'s commands, and the power that was gained from within their HQ. More and more humans were hunted, more and more died, and in the end the worlds surface got destroyed by the droids their weapons, each blast creation more wasteland, each bomb creating more craters. All that was left, were caves, ruined city's and the droids themselves. No place was left to grow food, no place was left to live and no place was left to remain safe...

Personality: Jyoti is very enthusiastic but sometimes can get out-of-hand. She has a huge ego, and loves to be complimented, especially when it's about something she made. She's very talkative and likes to lead in a conversation, being loud and silly. On the other hand is very silent and serious when motivated or concentrating on something of importance. She likes people, using them as an emotional support. She's actually very shy around those of the male gender, unless they can keep up with what she's talking about, she'll forget that they're a guy that she's so busy talking. She can have a bit of an attitude if she's told what to do impolitely; Jyoti never makes eye contact unless it is absolutely 100% necessary, she always keeps her distance from everyone, get to close and she'll zap you; she is a bit of a sadist....

Biography: Born from a family of medical and scientific geniuses, Jyoti was a child protege. She grew up being tutored in multiple fields, such as bio engineering, medical engineering, etc. To the outside world, she was super human, an incarnation of something greater, just like the rest of her family. Although those she thought was her family never seemed to recognize or even pay any attention to her. She went to schools and colleges learning in the same room with people five or even ten times her age, never making any friends. At age 14 she was one of the few select students aiding in the development of an AI that would bring about a new age. Despite being exposed to a toxic mixture of praise and spite, Jyoti strove to become the #1 like her relatives before her. In a shady act between jealous students and scientists, a huge portion of her research was stolen from her to use toward the program. She didn't bother to come out about it because what was stolen from her was incomplete formulas, and no one would care that someone like her was wronged.
When things went south with the AI program, she couldn't be blamed because the thieves would have to admit their crime, and she was alright with them bearing the weight of the failure. Of course she came to blame herself when the devastation began, when hundreds upon thousands died and the shining utopia was lost. When the survivors created a militia, she joined to develop specialized weaponry to combat the mechanical threat... But we all know how that story goes. With only a hand full of survivors, Jyoti goes on with the intention to live long enough to see the world of man reborn into the utopia that once was.

Weapon: Custom High voltage Shock Baton, 10 meters of durable conductive fiber cord.
Extra:
- Every fiber in her clothing is conductive, refrain from touching her if you don't want to have static shocks!
- She grows genetically modified dwarf vegetables and plants, they're tucked safely inside a miscellaneous compartment on the underside of Juganū.
- Takes candy bribes. (Candy and sweet stuff is like super duper rare in a post-apocalyptic world, right?)

Mecha

She only has 10 rounds available (Used to be 20, she lost them somewhere in one place or another...), the shells are reusable and indispensable since the material to make them in the first place is so extremely rare and hard to come by these days. They can be launched like grenades, or set like landmines, and most commonly: attached to the insides of Juganū's frontmost claws, which it can inject and direct the energy onto another machine. (I.E. Like a defibrillator for an ally, or a taser to an enemy). EMPs are dangerous to all machines if the energy is not directly conducted by Juganū.
Extra: Juganū is smaller than standard sized mechs and is also collapsable, so it can fold up and fit into more compact spaces; It is also a made with a very lightweight conductible material for mobility purposes, sacrificing durability to increase speed and battery life. Due to it's small size, Juganū can temporarily patch up a range of damage on other mechas by latching onto them and using it's flexible claws.

Personality: Aiden's rather lax, even during life and death situation. It almost looks like he's lazy, though he only comes off that way because he acts calm during times like that, in order to do his job perfectly. A sharpshooter does need a steady arm, huh? He's kind and easy to talk to, not acting cold to anyone who doesn't treat him poorly or who hasn't given a bad first impression. He trusts too easily, which is probably his fatal flaw. The one thing that he stands out with is his intellect. While he might not be great at memorizing, he's an amazing quick-learner and his analytical ability and quick wit are surpassed by few people if any. This tends to annoy people who decide to take up his challenge and play chess with the boy.
Biography: Aiden grew up with a family who were rather dimwitted in contrast to him. He was poorly educated at school, his parents unable to actually pay for what could be counted as a good education. He educated himself at the libraries, digging his head into books. He built his first significant 'invention', which was basically a human sized robotic monkey that could run around and stop in front of obstacles, at the age of 8, using some scraps he found in the junkyard. He spent most of his time bent over his table, working on blueprints of weapons and more robots like that, whenever he wasn't helping his parents with the fields or hunting with his father, although he would rarely make them since they couldn't afford most of the pieces. The second thing he made was a sniper rifle that he would use for hunting, that turned out better than he'd expected. It was strong enough to easily pierce through the animal's body and come out of the other side. He continued doing what he did, leading a rather boring life for quite some time. He decided to leave his house and try to sell some of his designs. Nobody really took a 14 year old kid with little to no education seriously, of course. Only an engineer would be able to actually understand the things that were on his blueprints. At one point, he was finally able to sell one of his designs to a company for a lot of money which he didn't think would be worth anything, since it was just something that he was doing for fun. It was a rather simple design for armor for the other things he was doing. He sent most of the money back home and made a name for himself, even if only among engineers or potential buyers. He started to bring some of his projects to life, be it weapons, robotic pets with simple AIs or anything one could think of. Before he could finish any of them, without any warning, the human population plummeted, mysterious robots that people called 'droids' started killing people left and right. He escaped and survived for a couple of days on his own until he learned that there was a militia group preparing to fight back. He thought that his capabilities would be able to help them out quite a bit.
Weapon:
Sniper rifle with four bullets in each magazine. He has a total of five magazines at once. The weapon itself is his own design.
-He has a small and unfinished pistol and a silencer designed for it that's currently unusable but he claims that when he's finished with it, it'll be the most accurate handgun seen by mankind, which is quite doubtable, but he's convinced his design will work perfectly.
Extra: He's quite adept at hand to hand combat, using a style that could be counted as MMA.

Mecha:

Name: Are-Shiki (Insignificant)
Weapon: A sharpshooting rifle attached to its arm, which is easily aimed since the user of the mecha can see through the scope from one of the screens inside the mecha.
Extra: Despite its bulky structure, the joints on its legs, elbows and shoulders allow it great mobility during battles, making it a worthy opponent. Even outside of battle, its capable of moving at speeds that seem impossible for its size, though regular for a less bulky yet quick mecha. It moves smoothly, making as little noise as it can in order to avoid detection.

Skull isn't the nice and sweet guy most humans know in this world, for he always despiced the world itself and the humans living on it. No instead... He is one hell of an asshole who says what he thinks, and woudn't care if he would get his hands dirty with another humans blood.

Biography:

Skull never knew his family, instead he grew up in an orphanage, he wasn't even raised by a mere human, but by a droid, wich became in his eyes, his mother. The droid took care of him and his other "brothers and sisters". Even when the droid malfuctioned, they tried to fix her in any possible way, so that she woudn't be scrapped from the system and destroyed. They all enjoyed being with this droid... But eventually everything changed... The droid was malfuctioning to much, started to attack the children... And Skull bashed the droids skull open with a frying pan...
In his eyes, he had just killed his own mother... The one that took care of him... That loved him... But now all he knew was that she was dead, that she was no more... And that she would be replaced by a new one...
And so the droid did got replaced... But not for long, for Skull had already snapped when he destroyed the previous droid... The new droid didn't lasted long, for Skull hated the droid... Each time a new droid came, he destroyed it, with water, electricity or even with a frying pan... But the droids also became stronger, needed more damage before being destroyed... And so Skull found their weakness each time again and again...
It didn't took long before Skull was taken to the military, for that was the place he belonged according to the humans that sometimes stopped by to addopt a child, a commander found him, destroying the last droid that came in contact with him at the orphanage and took him away towards the military, when there were still humans fighting against each other.
This was where Skull gained his training, he got trained in every single way at the age of 8, every single combat style there was, Skull got trained in them all... And in the end... A killing machine was created....

~ Skull's speed is unmatched, almost like unhuman. This is why he always fights with Mellee weapons, for they suit him the most.

~ Skull doesn't know wich Gender he likes most, so he barelly loves someone.

Extra: Darkrai his armor is quite strong, as his body is also swift, these two together create quite a lethal Mecha, also together with it's weapon. Darkrai, is just like Skull, quite fast and could take a hit or two before truelly falling down to the ground.
Although his energy capacity is high, it also depletes faster than most Mecha's once it starts moving.

Newcomers will gain their Mecha from other places, once they change their HQ to another spot xD Or when they come in before they leave, they'll still find them in the Subway xD
