[IC] Medieval Kingdom

The day was just begining and the queen was already awake, still in her night gown but looking beautiful as ever. Although servants normally prepaired the breakfast the queen insisted on making a lovely meal. When she was done and dressed in her esquesiet dress she simply knocked on the knights door and hoped someone was awake. She felt as queen it is her job to have people love her so she did her best to please everyone and that was her greatest downfall.

Before the hand of the Quee could knock her door Urbi opened it and smiled "Good morning milady, Did you sleep well?" she asked with a soft sweet, voice, this tone was only used with the Queen, Urbi's soldier's could only dream to hear it.

It was a beautiful, early morning and Princess Lorelai was already awake. She hummed as she was helped into the days outfit. As soon as she was ready she was down the hall, heading out to the garden where she would laze around all day, skipping her classes. As Lori went down she hall she saw Urbi and the queen. She skidded to a halt and gave them a deep and somewhat graceful curtsy. "Queen. Lady Urbi. Lovely morning." She said quickly before going out into the garden. Once there she shooed away the grounds keepers. It was her garden and she enjoyed tending to it. Plus, she was excited to see if her lilies bloomed.

The queen smiled at the girls "Good morning girls, I slept peacefully thank you" she Offered the tray of food to Urbi "For you Urbi and your men" She nodded and looked to Princess Lori she patted her shoulder raised an eyebrow at her "Skipping will only get you father behind young lady" The queen winked at her and gracefully walked down the hall to the garden.

The princess was just beginning to water the dafodils when the queen came out to the garden as well. She brushed the grass from her skirts and smiled and nodded at the queen. Though the woman was the queen, Lori did not see her as her mother, more like an older sister. She felt deep respect, and even a bit of jealousy towards the woman of power. But the queen was so kind she never wish any harm to befall her. "I won't stay out here all day." She said, though one could only imagine how true that was.

The queen adored the princess and so she was quite lenient when the girl broke rules, though she didn't want her to think she would let her off easy. Irena Smiled at lori "Will you help me pick some flowers, please?" she asked in a soft voice, gesturing toward the lilies and lilacs. the Queen got up and grabbed two baskets, and handed one to Lori without letting her speak.

Lori was always willing to help, especially if it was for the royal family. She held the basket and stooped down to pick the lilacs, only choosing the ones with the brightest color and freshest scent. The princess found around fifteen lilacs fit for the queen then looked at the lilies that were in full bloom, mentally taking note of their color and their petals.

The queen was after the roses and gardenia's she got down on her knees and picked the fullest roses she could find and wound up with 10 and noticed she pricked her finger a small trickle of blood ran down her hand, she quickly started to suck on it, Then she moved over to the gardenia's they were easier to pick out the sweetest smelling ones to her were the best. Suddenly she stood up with the roses and gardenia's she had picked. "I have one more task for you young one, go and give your flowers to your teacher as a way to say sorry for missing class" Irena said and smiled down at Lori she hopped the child didn't hate her for what she asked her to do but skipping is no way to learn. Although she wasn't Lori's mother she tried her best to be a good substitute. She had her own daughter hate her once but that was long ago, then she left her and moved to a different kingdom.

"Alright." Lorelai's reluctance was obvious but she nodded and went back inside the castle to search for her teacher, basket of flowers in hand.

The queen handed the basket to a young servant "Please put these by Lori's room" The servant nodded and ran off quickly, Irena was happy to help Lori, although she hopped that the girl would do as she requested. the queen sighed deeply and began to walk to the gates of the castle she wished to see the villagers and their smiling faces...but she'd need to have a guard with her although the queen was armed with two daggers she still needed a babysitter

Flair's POV
Flair awoke in a large hay stack and grumbled to herself she was in a barn of some sort she tried not to fight last night but ended up on her ass in god knows whose barn. she wiped her eyes and yawned she stood up and shook off all the hay from her clothes and quickly exited the barn she began to run away and noticed that she was close to the castle, which means closer to the royal witch who had a room there, she was close and she wanted more than anything to see the inside of the castle one way or another. Flair was just beginning to know her powers so she couldn't just sow up there and hope they'd let her stay

Isaiah had awoken up at the crack of dawn just as he had always. He strapped on his patrol armor and took up his standard sword on his back. His signature sword the same one found alongside him was held horizontally behind his waist with the handle pointing to the left so he could draw it faster. He had been patrolling the castle the rest of the morning. Stopping only when he saw the queen standing near the castle gates, probably wanting to meet with the people as she loved to do. "If you wish to leave the castle allow me to accompany you, my queen."

Queen Irena made a face that said Really? and sighed "Yes of course sir Isaiah" She smiled at him and held out her arm for him to take it I wish the king would take me out like this she thought to herself. the queen loved seeing the villagers and young children roaming thee streets of her fair kingdom, Sometimes she'd play with them and visit them in their homes, occasionally there would be those who liked to test her guards but they always wound up either at their mercy or the kings. She awaited for Isaiah to take her down there for a nice stroll. it was clear to everyone she was mostly in charge around here but the king normally over-ruled her on some things, she thought maybe it was best to start looking for a new king since the one she has is lazy.

Lori spent most of the morning inside doing her studies. Though her teacher loved the flowers she quickly insisted Lorelai learned how to speak the language of all the nations the kingdom was at peace with. The second she could, she was gone again and inside the stables, dress already covered in dust and hay.

Isaiah was wary to take the queens arm, thinking it might be improper of someone of his station yet on the other hand not doing it would be come off as him being disrespectful. He decided to just go ahead and do it, bowing slightly as he did. "This way milady." He said as they walked through the streets, he kept his guard up the whole time and scanned the area constantly to make sure there wasn't any stupid assailant thinking about trying something. As much as he would hate to spill blood in front of the queen he would not hesitate to do so.

As they walked she saw the women from the village coming up to her "Good morning ladies" she said in her sweet soft voice. They just replied with a smile and carriers on doing their work. A few of the men peeked out of the windows at her she waved and the wives of those men would slap them, normal things that would happen everyday. "Isaiah, what do you think about the king?" She asked looking up at him

Flairs POV
Flair noticed the queens arrival in the village she Iaughed to her self and thought that guard won't stand a chance against me she made her way through the crowd of women and she walked right behind the queen. Then she snapped her fingers quietly and watched as a fire began in front of the queen. Flair took off quickly running down a hill back to the barn, she watched from there

"It is not my place to speak of such things my queen." Isaiah said as he walked with the queen. When the fire started he instinctively put himself in front of the queen, and pushed her back. The only way the fire could of started so quickly would have to be magic. He didn't see the caster responsible and he couldn't go after them anyway he had to make sure the queen stayed safe. "We must get you back to the castle milady!"

Smithy was looking down at the commomtion with the Fire "For god sake" He cursed as the witch ruined his plan to get into the castle He noticed her go back to the barn Could be a place to start. Witches are troublesome folk to mess with even with partially magic proof gear. but the witch couldn't go unpunished oh no that would be to easy but then again the knight accompanying. the queen had said that they where returning. it would be easiest to get inside then. making up his mind Smithy slowly trailed the queen keeping hidden on the rooftops and in the ally ways. not even a witch or wizard could see him unless he allowed it.
