But what about the Islamic caliphate growing outside your doorstep, figuratively? Also, what's the air-force situation over there? Are they doing strikes?

As far as I know, yes, they are doing strikes. About the Caliphate, the government is trying to be cordial with them. They've got too many men rooted inside Anatolia to risk it.

That's a good point. It's such a tense situation.

Is Turkey worried about an internal sectarian assault? I know that America is concerned with insurgents here.

It's half-jokingly suggested that the country will fall to ISIS amongst the people, but overall, I do not think that an internal assault is a big concern right now. ISIS is currently too busy with Kurdish insurgents (who were Turkey's biggest enemy for about 30 years anyway, from here it unfolds like a Kaiju fight).

Ah true, very true. But the question remains, as it often times does in the face of a massive war, what happens when they're done with the Kurds?

Today was really annoying because I had to clean the whole house and move things around. So, I didn't get any time to write anything, but that should not stop anyone from going into TP and getting things started.
