I hear ya. I need something to work off of and I know the other person does too. So I try and give a much of exposition for my character and then just end doing something the other person has to react to.

It is. I don't like to take control of someone's character without their permission. So I'll ask before I figure out what I'm going to post. I was thinking he either captures your girl, but doesn't know it's her, and takes her on the ship and tries to figure things out. Or he escapes but puts a tracer on her and follows her back to her home.

I think things might get real interesting if you'd capture her. That way they get to know each other as well, for the first time.

If you decide to escape then we might have a couple of posts in between before we get any closer to meeting.
