[OOC] Camp DaggerFrost

The year is 4025, the war this time, WWIII. Unlike the previous world wars Germany was not one of the instigators of the war. Russia and United States of America had been fighting for the position of world power without actually attacking each other for 100 years before war started. However approximate 20 years ago, 4005, Russia launched an official attack on an American military base located in Japan. The fighting has been very sporadic in the last twenty years often fighting would stop for close to a year before picking back up again. There are two alliance groups participating in the war, the Euro alliance consisting of the U.S.A, the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, and Japan. There is also the New soviet, consisting of Russia, China, Turkey, Greece, Austria, Australia, Egypt, and Iraq. Other countries are allied with either group but play a smaller role within the war. With the war at risk of becoming nuclear both sides have decided to ensure the safety of the next generation as much as there resources would allow. Thus both China and Japan worked together to create a safe haven known as Camp DaggerFrost. Located in the world's only anti-war zone, Antarctica, Camp DaggerFrost is the only safe place for the children, pregnant and elderly. The "camp" is located 100 yards underneath the surface of the ice at it's lowest point during the summer. DaggerFrost was officially finished 10 years after the war started.

Camp DaggerFrost is a highly secure facility that is divided into two sections, one section for the Euro Alliance and one section for the New soviet. The two sections are connected by a single heavily guarded hallway off limits to all "campers" unless special permission is given. The camp only has one entrance and exit, also heavily guarded and off limits to "campers" unless special permission is given. Both sections consist of a cafeteria, several levels of two-three person rooms consisting of two or three separate rooms a living room and a bathroom, (rooms are sometimes co-ed due to uneven amount of genders and way to many people). Also a game/lounge room consisting of several vending machines, a large television (mostly stuck in the news channels though movies are sometimes played on it), several arcade games, ect. As well as a gymnasium for sports, a gym for working out, and an ice skating rink complete with skate rental. Each section also has it's own version of a school in which students attends to get the proper education. Both sections have working heating and cooling units for both air and water.

Roles of "campers":

Students (classified as anyone 5 to 17)- help with most jobs (5-10 years of age are exempt from helping with jobs) as well as attend classes on a daily basis. Classes are divided by grade and all students are put in classes for their specific learning needs (mostly country in which they come from). Classes for students also consist of military training for older students (15-17). One a student turns 18 they are likely to be transferred into the ranks of war.

Pregnant- mostly caretakers, watching the younger students, assisting the older, assign jobs for students.

Elderly-mostly the cooks and room assignees, though they also help in care taking and all other things.

Enter the players- You will be playing as a "camper" in DaggerFrost. Mostly students though other members can also be played. This is a free type roleplay and is about the day to day life of campers. I would prefer all of us to either pick the Euro Alliance or the New soviet section so that we can all interact with each other. I would prefer the Euro Alliance to the new soviet.

Layla

Personality: Layla tends to be very soft spoken, she never raises her voice above something barely above a whisper and she tends to stay out of conflicts. She tends to be easily pushed around and won't say anything even if the situation gets bad. It is easy to upset her and she has delicate emotions though anger is not one of those. She acts almost like a small child but can also be very mature. She likes to stick around a specific person all the time.
Bio: Like the other student at Camp DaggerFrost she was born to a very bad time. She had been born in London England when DaggerFrost was still in the making. It wasn't until she was six that it was finished, at which point all the eligible people where slowly ushered into the facility. Layla, like many of the others, hadn't gone undamaged, both emotionally and physically. Her father was killed about two years before the completion of the camp and her city had been raided and torn apart a year before. This resulted in her receive several burn marks on her hands and a scar in her right cheek. Ever since then Layla has been trying to pull herself together though the emotional trauma still hasn't fully left her, which is why she acts the way she does.

Frida

Personality: Frida likes everything to be organized and in order. If something is out of place or done wrong, she will not become enraged, but simply and almost silently take over and do it herself. She is usually very dead pan with how she addresses people and rarely shows emotion. She is not a popular person, nor a no name: she's in the middle and when she puts her two cents in, others know it must be important because she doesn't waste her time with foolishness. She is usually on top of her temper unless someone insults her country's past. She doesn't take responsibility for anyone else but herself. If others want to be stupid and do dumb things, it's their problem, not hers. The only time she does something to help others is, like stated before, when they are doing something as a group and someone does something wrong.

Bio: Not much of a backstory for Frida. She grew up in a middle class house with her single parent father and older brother Klaus. The war did not affect the Von Rudens too much, as their father was a high ranking military man and, when things got bad, he would have his children go into highly secure hiding. When Frida's father got word of camp DaggerFrost, he planned to put both his children in it. Unfortunately it was late in being finished and Klaus was over 18, which meant he was no longer eligible to go to the camp and he had to join the german army. Frida was forced to separate from her brother and father as she was sent to Camp DaggerFrost.

Actually if you read my character's bio DaggerFrost was finished when she was six which ment that they would have been 7 and 8. The war has been going on for 20 years the camp was finished ten years after the war started.
