[IC] The Hunter and The Lycan

Aura stared at him her cheeks dusting pink at his words. She suddenly noticed his hand was on her cheek and looked away before clearing her throat. "Well I`ve never had anyone say something like that to me. I think the last person who shared their true feeling about me said I was a bitch." She said and face palmed in her head for ruining that. Get going there Aura. She thought to herself. You really are an idiot sometimes. Ash commented.

Drake let out a breath, before lifting her chin to look at him. "Then no one saw through the cold hard protection we put around ourselves to avoid being hurt once more. Believe me I've put that facade on more than I can count, but it won't take long for me to see through that facade you are special in your own way Aura anyone is."

Aura looked at him and sighed. "The only thing special about me is that I`m a scary albino." She said honestly her red eyes staring at him. In all honesty she didn`t think muhc of herself. Being the 'Monster' of her pack it never left her room to show who she really was. Therefore she came off as a bitch to anyone who met her. that way they`d never have to find out about her true self.

Drake laughed to that, "yes your scary when your pissed but that doesn't mean that had to be the only thing about you that is true. Your more than that Aura and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise." His green eyes looking at her it was like his eyes held the ocean.

Aura smirked laughing softly before nodding. "Alright fine, you`ve convinced me. Plus you have pretty eyes." She said honestly. Looking over at the window she noticed it was getting darker. "Damn, we`ve been talking for a long time haven`t we."

Drake looked to the window, then looke back at her. "When your doing something that can keep you busy time flies by." He sighed, before letting go of her chin an tucking a loose strand of her hair behind her ear, "I guess we can call it a night in the very least." With that he kissed her forehead before he got up, and made his way toward his room.

Aura blushed as he got up and went to his room. She stayed where she was for a bit trying to calm down her racing heart. Taking a deep breath she shook her head any trace of girlishness gone as she walked to the guest room and closed the door. She flopped on to the bed and was soon asleep.

Drake laid down on his bed, he fell asleep as soon as his be hit the pillow. By morning, he was up at dawn like always, he got out of his room. His weapons could stay in his room, till he knew he would need them, he sighed as he got breakfast up and done this time switching the hash browns with sausage.

Aura walked out into the living room not soon after he`d came out of his room. She walked into the kitchen. "One of these days you should let me cook breakfast. I may seem like an idiot but I`m one hell of a genius in the kitchen." Aura said sitting down on a bar stool. It seemed way too comfortable to just be walking around his house like this. Honestly she had no idea why she was so comfortable.

Drake laughed, "to me your no idiot Aura never thought of you as that if anyone is an idiot its me trying to fight off thirty vamps by myself I learned my lesson on that don't do it unless you have te numbers to pull it off." He finished it up, getting Auras plate done and setting it in front of her then went to fix his plate.

"You were really stupid to do that. If you try it at least have a plan first. If not your doomed to fail." Aura commented not sparing any feeling as usual. She bite into the sausage smiling at the taste. Being a lycan she really appreciated meat. It was just how they were, also the fact her pack was more like wolves than other packs. Meat was a big importance to life.

Drake looked at her at the comment, "hey besides that what happened to the Aura from last night? Because this isn't the one I had gotten to know last night come on theirs no reason to keep yourself guarded here." He knew those words were tryes, he always guarded his true self outside of this place.

"Both sides are me, the other one is just rarer to see." Aura commented. Letting her guard down wasn`t easy. If you are used to something your whole life changing it was harder then anyone could think. For her showing her true self took mental effort to let loose. She took a bite of the eggs on her plate.

Drake sighed to that, as he sat down with his plate and starting to eat. He thought about something, "I know it's hard took me years to let my guard down fully within these walls, but outside of this house im like the other side of me comes out the cold and hard."

Aura looked down at her plate. "The real me isn`t keen on showing herself. The walls she keeps herself in are comfortable and strong. No matter what she and how I am now are two sides of me but they`re still me. So I can`t say one of them is fake and the other is real."

Drake nodded to that, "it was a precaution of not getting hurt once more and I get that i had done it for years. I got sick of it and finally tore those walls down, seeing no more use for them in these years of my life." He sighed to that, he got to his feet putting his plate in the sink.

Aura finished her food and did the same. "I don't think I'm ready too yet." She said honestly and looked at her clothes before sighing. "I'll be forced to go back having to keep wearing this. People are going to think there is something wrong with me. Wearing the same clothes every day."

Drake shrugged to that, he got his boots on. "Anyways I need to check in with the other hunters see what they have uncovered so far with the info I gave them last night." He needed to make sure they were safe, since he knew vamps would try and see what he gave the other hunters.

Aura nodded, "I should probably go back tot he pack and explain what`s going on. I have a feeling there is going to be some arguments today." She said and sighed getting up and stretching her arms above her head. "I guess I`ll see ya later."

Drake nodded to that, "be safe." He grabbed his sabers, putting te weapons on the back of his waist. He popped his neck, "and if I'm right there going to be more info on the vamps coming in today." He rolled his shoulders.
