I'd say that it works for your character though, Starcatcher -- she seems pretty introverted, so you could say she truly didn't notice. I hope I didn't come across wrong, I only meant to relieve any awkwardness. It happens to all of us.

Simnia's probably going to have a great interest in Anisa, since they're almost the same height and Simnia has a soft spot for quiet ones. I could see my character watching out for yours quite a lot, if that's cool with you.

Also darkwolf, there'll be a sneezing fit every time Ren is nearby. In case you wanted to take advantage of that. ;)

Why do I always forget the awkwardness of RP-ing with a strong accent. I do it, think 'golly gosh that was annoying' then forget about it and try again..

At his point I think we understand how Dariq speaks. :3 If you wanted to you could just for the most part type the words normal, and every once in a while when writing just mention his accent.

Also, how the heck is your captain supposed to answer your questions Deth if you you immediately go below deck after asking em! :p

I often find the best way ter show a strong accent is to downplay it, y'know? Include a couple of them idiom things, misspell a word or two, and the reader's mind'll fill in the res'.

I do the same. It's nice to be able to read it in english yet still know what they talk like.

Finally managed to post. I have this awful habit of writing, i've been meaning to kick it, but i just can't stop adding more paragraphs. I could've dragged it out to about a page more. Sorry if it got a little bit wordy.
