Anxius quickly leaped out of the way of Hikaru's attack. He bared his teeth and moved to retaliate. He darted close to Hikaru and snapped his jaws at him then immediately backed off. He kept repeating this tactic, hoping to push Hikaru back or provoke him into a careless attack. Anxius did not quite dare directly attack him yet; He was still not sure of what this wolf was capable of yet.

Hikaru stood calm and silent, remembering his training as a slave. He got a rhythm for Anxius' attack pattern, and raised a paw, ready to cuff the hyena on his next attempt.

(Sorry, but Hikaru didn't have any reaction to the attack, which seems a bit unnatural. Next time maybe give a reason why he wouldn't react? Also, Anxius is a Striped Hyena.)

His caution payed off. As he was charging towards Hikaru, he noticed the wolf raising his paw; He was probably aiming for some strange attack. He did not stop, however, because it was the opening he had been planning for. It wasn't exactly what he wanted, but it would work. Increasing his speed, he got closer than ever to Hikaru. He opened his jaws and viciously lunged at the wolf's paw, planning to clamp his jaws down on it as harmlessly as possible while keeping his grip.

With any luck, the surprise attack would easily catch the wolf by surprise.

Himeko felt that she would not have just been steathily picked up in the mouth of such a larger animal with a cat's senses. Turning around, she claws at Charles as he tries to pick her up, trying to sink her teeth into his side. Hissing, she mumbles something, still putting up at fight with Charles. "Back off before you regret it weakling."

"Too slow!" Hikaru swiftly dodged Anxius' sharp jaws. He fluidly moved in a circle, aiming his bristling tail at the hyena, hoping to temporarily blind him.

"calm it!" he dived onto her and got his teeth around the scruff of her neck "im taking you to my house, you'll be taken back in a minute." he dug his feet in and started running

Himeko continues her hiss as Charles grabbed her. She sends more swipes with her extended claws as she is carried. Himeko didn't want to have to use it. Not in front of anyone. Not yet.
