I'm going to assume this is taking place in a generic alternate-dimension version of New York City (...because all superhero stories take place in generic alternate-dimension versions of New York City). So I'll take the liberty of naming some things in my post after popular comic book locations (because... hey, why not?). Not that they're related to the actual locations in comic books, but we can't just keep calling it "the city" and "that street" in every post. Feel free to mention if I'm going against your concept, MusesFallFirst.

If Asyr lives she should be permanently stripped of her powers and perhaps disabled. As in, maybe paralyzed from the waist down or something.

EDIT: Also I am working on a post. Should be up by tonight.

Also, Scorn is an interesting character Argetlam.

Jack the Ripper - Jill Clark

Role: Villain
Powers:
The Power that Sees Through All - Hyper-intuition
Characterized by eyes that betray no emotion or intent, Jack's enhanced Intuition allows them to make advanced observations instantaneously and without any prior knowledge. At a glance, they can tell what sort of person somebody is and see through seemingly perfect disguises effortlessly. In battle, this ability is used to track subtle muscle movements and discover the mechanics and weaknesses of Hero's abilities. While Jack claims that it is the perfect ability, which cannot be defeated, it does in fact have a few unknown limitations.

Killer's Instincts
An extension of Jack's Hyper-intuition which focuses on finding and using the absolute most effective method of killing in any given situation. As a side-effect, Jack can control their Killing Intent in ways to either prevent enemies from sensing an imminent attack, or induce enough fear to completely paralyze weak-willed prey.

The Ultimate Diguise - Identity Manipulation
The ability that is used so that Jack can move freely through the city and attack their victims without the risk of being caught. Sometimes called the "Perfect Assassination Power", because of its ability to disguise the user as anybody, or even create new identities entirely on the fly. Also allows them to change the identities of inanimate objects or tinker with the identities of others, although such targets take significantly more time and effort than targeting themselves.

Obfuscation
A sub-ability related to Identity Manipulation, which allows Jack to Obfuscate their own or others identities. This makes them impossible to identify, and able to slip away from crime scenes without the risk of being seen or remembered. Because they are in a state of concealed identity, the target is essentially invisible, but in a way different than conventional invisibility. While it's impossible to identify them with any of the five senses, it is possible to "see" Obfuscated targets, if you know what you're looking for and purposefully look for it. Even then, however, losing the target for even a second can allow them to slip back into invisibility.

Talents: Using their Hyper-intuition, Jack has developed what they call the "Perfect Killing Technique", which revolves around the use of conventional weapons to strike the opponent's weak points and break down their defences. Experience killing all sorts of people has culminated into superhuman coordination and agility, to the point of being able to kill targets before they even have a chance to defend.

Jack is also an expert in information manipulation, hacking and social interaction.

Personality: Jack is a monster, a wild beast that seems to care for nothing besides battle and the thrill of the hunt. Sadist and treacherous, it seems to the naked eye that their cruelty knows no bounds. However, there are several quirks to Jack's personality that show a glimpse of the person they once were. They gush over advanced technology and unique fighting techniques, and are a huge fan of the Mystery genre, spending most of their free time during the day reading one novel or another.

While they're vicious, Jack is hardly a hateful creature, and doesn't tend to hold a grudge longer than a few moments. They have a competitive spirit, and don't like to be one-upped by anyone. Despite their reclusive nature, Jack is quite a flashy individual, evident from the way they tend to exaggerate their mannerisms and make murder scenes as interesting as possible.

Jack will always take the most enjoyable option possible, even if it means helping others or risking failure. They do, however, have a rather strong instinct of self preservation, and will always retreat if they feel like their life is at risk.

Background: Jack's past is like the mist, hard to look into and extremely inconsistent. Shifting between different identities, they listlessly traversed the darkest parts of the world, searching idly for something to direct their passion towards. They adored mystery novels, and during a particularly fateful series of events, began devoting their life to the secret art of killing. Because it was somewhat of a hobby, rather than an occupation, they've never been in much contact with Assassination Organizations or villainous allegiances. There's a great deal of mystery surrounding Jack's origins, but their travels have led them to this city, where they were met with the most wonderful batch of news.

How they took the death: "Finally, freedom..."

One thing to note, now that intro's have started and people are moving you will receive PM's between me, Lucius (the new co-gm) sometimes giving you and your character extra information that your hero or villain will learn about the story.

Dang I'm trying to do the exact opposite of everyone else by not finding Asyr but that latest post for her is tempting me. It brings a ton of ideas on what could happen if Scorn did find her and how to twist Asyr's vulnerable state to her will and show that the mortal world has never cared about her. Why must I be so tempted? XD

Oh. Heh, I meant for the random girl in my previous post to be Lady Asyr, but that's okay, it works fine if it's not. Posted! Hopefully we can start getting even more people together; it's hard to interact when we're scattered all over the place.

You can still edit it! I'll counteredit, if I have to. If you just take it to give Elsie a phone call, it'll all work out fine. Especially since The C.E. still has no idea that she's Lady Asyr.

Alright heroes, I have some minor villains for you to deal with if you don't know what to do with yourself.

Lunatic Nero is a cult leader of the Gorgom Plot who wants to kill people to summon their "Creation King" to take over the world. Currently has an army of "Dead Masks" which are pretty much zombies. There are like, hundreds of them in Metropolis Square, though not in the same area where The End and Lady Asyr fought. Currently are being dealt with by Noelle herself. Lunatic Nero won't show up until later depending on what happens to his Dead Masks.

Guts Man is a giant monster thing made of guts and stuff. Uses a spiked chain and giant meat cleaver as his weapon. He kills people to add guts to his body to make himself bigger and stronger. Hasn't killed anyone yet but would likely kill the officers trying to stop him.

Morde is some sort of entity of death that manipulates life energy. Currently, he's holding a subway train full of passengers hostage with demands unknown until someone goes to deal with him. Notably, he's immune to nonmagical weapons.

Death Claw is a mutant burglar. Not quite as manically evil as the other three, but still a criminal.
For you villains out there I also got some secondary heroes to get in your way, but you haven't really done anything yet for me to throw them at you. Not to say that you villains can't go against my villains either; one of the four villains I made might know something about The End which could help you find him. Same goes for you heroes too; deal with the right bad guy and you might get a clue with what The End did to defeat Lady Asyr. All I ask is that you don't control the Villains without my permission. PM me if you want them to do anything in particular. They are NOT easy to defeat, so no one-shotting. The Dead Mask are easy to kill, but there are a lot of them.

Now what could Scorn be planning in her lair of hers? Something quite foul for sure but what who knows? Yet what a show it will be when she finally shows to the world her lovely new scheme that will go off with quite a bang indeed. XD
Also for those that might wonder this is the normal attire of her gang/henchmen:

No worries! I'm quick to roll with the punches. Besides, you still get the armor pieces in due time :)

I was about to post the other day but couldn't. I've posted now but I need to reread the most recent posts.

Vigil will make his debut here soon, once some serious action starts going down.

Actually, if Cain and Elsie are still fighting the Dead Masks, Vigil may pop in and offer assistance on my next post. The concept is that he was on his way to find Asyr, so he'll probably end up joining the group that Damon is trying to form.

I would be amused if Noel goes all authoritarian on the populace. Elsie'd probably try to back Noel up, considering how rigid the command structure was back on her precious space station. Then you'd have the group made by a villain trying to save Lady Asyr and the group made by a good guy trying to instill order into the populace.

Edit: Oh, shoot. I meant to give her some more flashbacks during the fight. Oh well, I suppose PTSD symptoms can wait a post or two.

I'm just waiting for some time to pass in game before I post again - maybe till the next morning. Since, you know, riding a standard 21st century helicopter from Sub Saharan Africa to New York might take a while :P

I was waiting for a couple more posts before setting off the bomb in Elsie's hand. Honestly, I probably should've done it in my last post; it would've given more things for people to react to. Whoops, my bad.
