Background: Born just one year after the end of the Great War, Charles never knew anything about struggle. He comes from a wealthy family with roots in the textile industry and consequently, Charles had always enjoyed the best of everything. During his teen years, Charles became interested in airplanes, and when the second war started, it only seemed natural for him to enlist. His family never was supportive of the decision, and his father secretly tried to buy out his conscription, but Charles insisted and went off to join the air force. Flying is something that he loves and succeeds at, and it gives him a great sense of pride to be able to defend the country that has given him so much.
