[IC] Digimon: Darkness Awakens

Xander fights thebother human, growing to get back into the fight. He can't... He won't let Candlemon down, it had happened to often to him to count and he knew he just couldn't do it. No matter what, even if he got hurt, even if he died, he wouldn't abandon his friend... Never! This Candlemon might be new, they might have only known each other for a few hours, but he need a this... He needs friends.
Candlemon knows that it's best for Xander to step back, but he understands his pain. He knows how Xander will never abandon him, and how he would always keep along side him. They had an unspoken understanding, Candlemon knew he couldn't stop Xander if he tried so instead he just focused on getting rid of this damn Apemon."Bonfire, bonfire, bonefire!" He screened as more fireballs were thrown from his mouth. He keeps throwing wax at the Apemon's eyes, fighting as much as possible as Xander still struggles to help his friend.
Xander knows that these sent people, these are stronger then people. He knows that this Apemon can take his hits, that he doesn't have to pull his punches. He struggles with Dorian, watching Candlemon and Impmon shoot fire at the creature as Ebony still tryst to fight on Apemon's other side.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Jesus... Damn... You mother..." Dorian was quickly getting fed up with the struggling Xander. He understood the wanting to help. He really did. But him... And the chick... And ... "Oh fuck it!" He said as he turned and threw Dorian towards Ebony. "You two wanna fight so bad I'll glad take you on! But you need to leave the digimon to the other goddamn digimon, bastards!" He shouted angrily as he glare at the two. He'd hadn't really expected them to collide, but if they did it would be that much better. It wasn't like he couldn't fight either after all.

Impmon, meanwhile was glaring at Candlemon as he continuously used his "Bada Boom" attack on Apemon. "Ya know letting him fight could get him killed, no matter how much you feel you can't stop him." He said as he began to hop around so as not to be subject to a counter attack. "And you! Get a grip and help us! Leave the humans to my partner. We'll work out the crap later!" He shouted at Lunamon, obviously in no mood to dealing with these extra problems.

[22xander]

Xander sunbles into Ebony, and they fall together in a heap. Suorised Xander doesn't move imediatly but soon he is struggling to get up and get a good hit in at Dorian. "Damn, you basterd, I just want to help. I can't stand to just sit around while Candlemon gets wailed on by this monster, and even if I get hurt I can still help. I have mma training, I can get a good hit in or two!"

Meanwhile Candlemon throws another glob of wax at Apemon's eyes, the turns a bit to Impmon to yell back at him. "Look, the kid has guts... I can't stop someone like that, I can only protect him. He needs me, and I need him. I don't know how this bond has formed in the last few hours but it really has, and I don't care what you think... I will respect him and help him do what he wants. Also, ease up on the lady, she's doing her best." He finishes, gesturing at Lunamon before.sending another Bonfire at Apemon's face.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Oh yeah? A good hit?" Dorian said as he began to dodge Dorian's attacks fairly easily, his hands now in his pockets. "You can barely get a good hit in on me. What? You're gonna pray he lets you hit him and not retaliate?" Dorian laughed before catching one of his fists. He squeezed rather tightly. It was possible it might hurt Xander a bit. But likely wouldn't. "Or are you gonna hit him and do nothing when he attacks until he kills you?!" He laughed a bit harder honestly sounding like a jerk. But it was on purpose. "Oh! Maybe that' how you'll face every digimon. Attack them and let them do whatever until you die without being of any real use to your new buddy! And then what?! He'll go next?!" He shouted suddenly getting serious as he pushed Xander back. "Because at this rate you'll be ground into dust before you do anything worth while, and he'll end up getting beat down soon after without his partner!" He finally shouted staring the young man down.

On the battlefield Impmon was having his own argument. "You know what? Do whateva ya want. When the kid ends up dead I won't be takin the blame you damn idiot! So go ahead and let him fight. I mean if ya wanna stop my partner. But you know I WON'T LET THAT HAPPEN!" He shouted before running at Apemon and leaping. "Machine gun kick!" He shouted as he hit the beast's chest. He wasn't sure it would do much though.

Apemon stood the the wax building up on his face and the dark fire melting some of it. The bone he hand thrown was laying on the ground and apemon couldn't see it but he reached out into the air and the bone flew back to his hand. "Apemon no need a waxing, he just get his face done last week!" He said in anger as he swung blindly at the digimon. Smacking Impmon and Candlemon both with a side swing. "You guys is annoying little ants compared to me! Why you bother me!" He said turning and swinging again narrowly missing the kids. Apemon stopped. He took the bone club and beat himself in the face. With a thud and a crack the wax build up on his face fell away revealing a blistered apemon. "You guys are going to get whacked!" He said as he raised his club to the kids about to bring it down.

[Duthguy]

"Listen Red I have an idea. Let the others distract Apemon and we will sneak up behind him so he is flanked. That way we can attack him while he is distracted." Danny whispered into his partner's ear, before the both of them disappeared into some bushes. Due to the chaos no one noticed they had gone missing and they quickly ended up behind the Champion. Now they still had to wait for the right moment so that they wouldn't accidentally hurt their allies.

When Apemon hit himself in the face for some reason Elecmon decided that that was the best chance he was gonna get. He got close enough to be sure that his attack wouldn't miss and launched three knifes made from electricity. "Lightning Knife."

[22xander]

Xander doesn't notice the stack conring at him, but Candlemon tackles him to get him out of the way. His anger builds up as he realized what was happening, and he starts to yell abuse at Apemon as he stands up. "Godamn! You ugly, inbred, giant! You know we were just minding our own business when you just came out of nowhere and started yelling at us swinging a bone around your head." Xander starts to walk forward, directly at Apemon who is surprised and stumbles away from him. "My little buddy tells me you can't be reasond with but when he comes to fight you he is helplessly outmached. I can't stand it, so I try to help... I try to distract you! At least until this asshole," he justures at Dorian. "Starts attacking me. So you know what? Now I'm pissed. I don't care if we're in your dumb ass taratory, I don't care if we have to kill you, just leave us the duck alone or I will hunt you down with every last bit of my strength to kill you." A so soon as he's done he passes out. Candlemon becomes consumed with a rage and with tears in his eyes begins to fight with a vengeance. Constantly keeping apemon blind from wax and continuing to spit fireballs at him.

[Demon Shinobi]

Apemon beat on his chest and roar, angered over the build up of wax, though he soon began to dodge the attacks removing all that was already there. "I'll whack the lot'a ya!" The monkey man shouted as he began to swing his bone club. It was moving much slower having been hit by Elecmon's attack.

"He's almost down!" Impmon said calmly as he threw more fireballs of darkness.

"You guys need to attack in a bit more of a coordinated manner!" Dorian said as he made his way towards Ebony who was currently still attempting to attack Apemon. "Impmon, I'm leaving those parts to you since Candlemon's kind of just going nuts." He sigghed before attempting to grab the girl or get in the way.

As Dorian did that Impmon ran and jumped at Apemon from the side and Machine Gun Kicked, knocking him back just a bit.

Apemon roared more attacks coming at him. And soon launched his bone club at Candlemon. Luckily Impmon tackled the candle down. "Keep fightin. Lunamon, you can watch the humans." The purple digimon said having noticed Elecmon and his tamer before.

[22xander]

Candlemon nods, still coherent on some level below hiss battle lust. He continues a routine of blinding Apemon whither wax, then hitting him with fire balls. Several times he gets injured slightly, but he keeps powering through everything. He can't think of anything but makeing it through the fight, and without Xander getting hurt. Aside from the fight Lunamon is trying to help Xander to no avail, while the other three try to take Apemon out and the other humans are arguing.

[Duthguy]

Elecmon heard what Dorian said about coordinating attacks and managed to hit Apemon with electrically charged tails around the same time as Impmon landed his Machine Gun Kick though from the other side. At the same time Danny decided to try and help Dorian out with containing the girl, as soon he figured out how to get the violent ape. He doubted sneaking through the bushes would again now that Apemon was aware his and Red's presence, and just trying to runs past would no doubt end with him getting hit by that big-ass bone.

[Demon Shinobi]

As Elecmon began his attack Dorian did his best to make sure Ebony didn't get back to the beast. She was a feisty one alright. It was a little tough to be honest.

"Alright! Time to put the big ape to rest!" Impmon called out. With Candlemon constantly using his fire and wax, and Elecmon's previous attack having been so effective it would only take one more well timed attack.

"You little!" Apemon growled and began to swiftly swing his large bone club. Still he was moving blind. He swung it at his face once more. Obviously, he knew how to whack the stuff off without much dammage. But this was the perfect chance. With the fire coing at him and the club moving towards his face he was very vulnerable.

"Keep doin what you guys are doin!" Impmon called out as he attacked Machine gun kicking the bone into the ape's face causing much more pain than he would have expected. The wax fell off and Impmon sent two fireballs of darkness at him which hit their mark alongside one of Candlemon's fire balls and Elecmon's electrical attack.

Apemon couldn't believe he'd lost. "What?! No! How?!" He barely got out the words as he turned into data having been successfully defeated. There were A LOT of problems with that fight though. And the "team" would have to really get it together or risk getting themselves, their partners and the entire digital world, and apparently their own world destroyed.

[22xander]

Candlemon's eyes clear and he realizes what's going on, he was on autopilot for a while thair. He rushes back to Xander and after makeing sure everyone's out of the way slaps Xander across the jaw. A few objections can be heard starting, but the words die in their mouths as Xander gets up. "Thanks little buddy," he says, petting Candlemon and makeing sure to avoid the flame somehow. "I don't know what happened, that was Worcester then any of my usual blackouts... Must have been the stress of come here to the digital world. Whatever, I suppose you all got rid of that asshole ape without me? Well that's no fun." Then he starts to grin to show he's saying it in jest, partiality.

"Yeah, sorry I didn't wake you up sooner. I just went crazy back their, whatever... I'm glad your back." Candle Mon said, before spontaneity hugging his tamer. "I'm just glad your not dead, I don't know how I'd be able to live with myself if you died on our first day together."

"He he, yeah... I'm glad I'd didn't die too little guy." Xander said, patting Candlemon on the back and exraditeing himself from the grasp of the little Digimon. then he looks around at the other Digidestend "So, what's the plan now. I know we've got baddies to get rid of, but we had better do that quickly... We gotta get home, I don't want the Fbi rifleing through my stuff even on the pretence of finding me."

[Demon Shinobi]

"First thing's first." Dorian said to Xander panting slightly having had quite the hard time holding back Ebony from tryin to fight Apemon. "You and the crazy fighter chick here need to get over the need to fight things we can't beat. At least not right now." He said with a stern look on his face. "Seriously, were you trying to get yourselves killed?" Dorian loved a good fight more than the next guy or girl, but not when it was impossible to win and he knew nothing about what he was going up against.

"Forget it. Let's just get outta here before someone else comes along and starts tryin to beat on us again." Impmon interjected quickly. "Seriously! We have somewhere to be and not too long to get there!"

[Kitty]

Ebony glared at Dorian. "I can handle myself perfectly fine thank you very much you a--" Lunamon cut her off. "Sorry I couldn't help fight I was busy with trying to help her get away from the fight even though it didn't work very well..." Lunamon said frowning. Ebony just rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"This is all a load of crap. How about someone sends me home so the pervert over there doesn't touch me again. Especially since I don't need to be held back from a fight. I have more fighting capabilities then all of you stupid males combined." Ebony said her cold glare gazing over all them minus the digimon.

Lunamon sighed and looked up at her supposed partner. "Please don't be like that. I want to be your friend so we can help the others fight against the evil in the digital world." Lunamon said looking kindly at Ebony. Ebony just rolled her eyes, "I have my own world to worry about and deal with." She said coldly causing Lunamon to frown slightly. The frown was a surprising look to see on Lunamon since she was a very bright, cheery, and bubbly digimon.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Hey! Why dontcha cram it brawd!" Impmon shouted quickly as he came to Lunamon's side. "Luna here's tryin to keep you and ya cruddy world around!" The little purple digimon shouted. "This isn't the first time a problem like this has happened ya know! If our world goes your's is next!" He grit his teeth and then glanced at Dorian. "And why tha hell ain't you sayin somethin?!"

Dorian stared down Ebony. "You insult me, and the little one who seems to genuinely care after having just met you for the first time in person AND you have the audacity to say you've got more fighting capability than me?" He was a little angry over her attitude, but even more so about being taken so lightly by someone who didn't even know him. "I seriously couldn't care less about what happens to you, but I'm not about to let you talk down to me or anyone else here." He clenched his fist. "So why don't you put your money where your mouth is? I'll take you on. You lose, you shut up and come along so we can move on. If by some miracle you win, I'll back off and let you go get yourself killed since we obviously can't get back home from here." He scoffed at the last statement. He could see her doing her best and maybe fighting to a stalemate, but not winning. He was better than that after all.

[22xander]

Candlemon shifts uncomfortably at the obvious tension in the air. Not quite sure am if a fight was about to go down he his behind Xander's legs. "L-look, we don't have to power to all of you home, or any of you to be honest. Your stick here like the original Digidestend of the old legends, the only way to get your asses home is by finding a way. Y-you sure as hell ain't going to find it pussying around herem we are going to have to find you a way home to get all of you home, and we are going to have to keep you all alive. Your going to haveto cooperate "

"I for one agree with Candlemon, I believe what he says and I think we aught to get to know the little guys a bit." Xander interjected, helping his new friend out. "If we need thare help that isn't going to change if we ignore them. In any case we aught to learn what we can do to help our 'partners'. Also, dude, if you ever try to stop me from helping I will deck you. And if you succeed and Candlemon gets seriously hurt I will kill you or die trying. I won't abandon a freind."

Candlemon tryed to say something in protest but Xander cuts him off. "And don't say anything, if I get hurt it's my fault. I just can't stand by and let a friend fight my battles for me." Candlemon smiles and steps out next to Xander confident and content with his partner.

Alistar had the look on his face like had just been hit by a wall....of realization. These guys were supposed to be the ones that his master was afraid of!? It was a joke that they even beat Apemon! The only one who had kept a level head in the fight was the elecmon and his partner who had either not cared about the fight or had been analyzing the whole thing to find a weakness and or an opening. The other three had been fighting among themselves and their digimon trying to protect them. Two of them had hit Apemon personally....death wishes the both of them, but in the end they had come through and digitized Apemon. Alistar sighed and face plamed. What am I going to do from here he thought. Did he even need to do anything? They seemed like they would destroy themselves with out his help. For now he would go scout around the area. He wanted to make sure that there were no more surprise guests like the girl in the tree. Plus he had not searched this area for shards and who knew there might be one; after all where their is smoke their must be fire. Standing out of the bushes he swung his cape over Ryudamon and himself which cloaked him in the shadows once again and he began to walk the area.

[Duthguy]

Danny tried to think of a way to stop the others from fighting, but he couldn't think of any way that wouldn't risk them getting angry at him. So he instead tried to get them focus on something else for now. "Maybe it isn't such a good idea to stay here, after all who knows what kind of creature might have heard us fighting Apemon." He hoped that by keeping the others busy, they would eventually calm down.

Elecmon not knowing the full reasoning of his partner none the less agreed. "Yeah, we might have been bale to defeat a champion but against a Mega or even an Ultimate Digimon we wouldn't stand a chance."

[Kitty]

Ebony smirked and popped her knuckles as she stretched out. She did a back bend and then lowered to her back. While on the ground she stretched her legs out then showed off by doing the ninja jump thing by putting her hands by her head and pushing off and landing on her feet. She glared at Dorian while smirking still. "Bring it shrimp." She said while waiting for him to make the first move.

Lunamon sighed and shook her head. "All I want to do is help her. It's obvious something dark is holding her heart from showing compassion when deep down she most likely hopes for help to get out of the rut she is stuck in." Lunamon said to herself sadly. She silently watched as her partner got ready to fight Impmon's partner.
