This roleplay is based on the novel/movie about a teenage boy and a young hunting ace who get lost in the wilderness (in Manitoba, Canada)
So I'll recall everything that led up to this event. Toronto, 1935. Jamie, who goes to St. George's academy for boys (his parents died 5 years ago when he was 10. And the money to keep them there runs out, so he has to live with his uncle Angus.
Then, natives (aka Indians) invite them on a hunting trip. But uncle Angus doesn't go because he's ill. Then, Jamie and a boy his age, Owasin, have to stay at a rest stop (a camping spot on a riverside.) While owasin's family go farther north to the barren lands.
In future events, we go up the river of giants to investigate a legend about giants roaming the land and our canoe crashes and we get lost in the wilderness.
Owasin kinda spizes/shuns Jamie a little bit because jamie is white.
