Shane grinned, he had his work cut out for him today which was fine because he liked a challenge. He shook his head before saying, "Alright let me show you mine, maybe it'll work for you too. If not then we just have to find yours". Shane put his left foot forward and his right foot was planted firmly into the mat behind him. He kept his back straight and right knee bent which leaned him back slightly his left fist was held up to his chest and his right to his waist.  He took only a split second to check his stance before saying to Ariella, "Now you try and tell me how it feels. If it's not working for you then find yours and I'll see if there are any problems with it"

Ariella looked at Shane seeing him get into his fighting pose. As she blushed a little not knowing what to do. "Uhhh..." the nervous girl bit her bottom lip, sighing. 'Come on, Ariella! You got this! Show him your fighting stance!' Ariella thought to herself and closed her eyes, opening them quickly and got into her fighting stance. It was a bit weird and not much energy was put into it. It was embarrassing though! Ariella couldn't help but to giggle and quickly got out of the stance. "Agh!! I can't do it..! It looks funny when I do it. I know it does look funny." she said running a hand through her hair, looking at Shane. Hopefully he won't laugh at her! Her stance was pretty funny though..

Violet stares at their hands nervously. The shadows that have been picked off crawl up her hands, up her chest, and into her vial around her neck. She moves her eyes from their hands to his shadow, which is slowly diminishing. She watches as it reaches about a fourth of his shadow. At this point for a normal human, they would be very weak and be shaking slightly. They may also be turning pale and becoming very cold or going between cold and hot.

Jack's face would pale slightly, and beads of sweat would start to develop on his forehead. He would look like he was having a bit of difficulty standing still, but he was managing. "Take as much as you need." He would say softly. His breathing would be a bit harder, but he wouldn't break eye contact.

Violet doesn't respond. She's too nervous in case she says something completely wrong and freaks him out. She continues to watch his shadow, making sure that she doesn't take too much. As soon as she is done, what has happened to most is either they collapse on the ground from exhaustion or pass out like her friend did. She hopes Jack doesn't do that, but she would be prepared if he did. Five-Sixteenths...Three-Eighths... One-Half! She steps quickly away from him, capping her vial to make sure the shadows doesn't escape. She then makes sure to come closer just in case he falls.

Ryan looked at her with more interest. ' It appears I've misjudged her.' He thought to himself. "Not many things interest me. Power, respect, and good company are a few things though." He replied smoothly. "So, nice plants you got there. You really take good care of them huh?" He pointed out the shriveled plants.

Mira smirked, looking down at her fingernails as if they were suddenly more interesting than this conversation. This boy was kind of rude, but she couldn't act as if she were an angel. She pursed her lips, and looked back up, considering him. "Want respect? Earn respect, boy. And if you want good company, move somewhere else." She wanted to see how he responded to her, and if he was kind enough to stay here and visit. It had been a while since she talked casually to someone, and she was almost...eager to try it.

Jack would stumble a bit once Violet let go, catching himself and making sure he was okay. He did feel weaker, and he felt the cold sweat on his forehead. His pulse was beating rapidly as his body attempted to help him, and he quickly began to run in a circle where he stood, moving very quickly and becoming a blur to anyone nearby. He could feel himself charging up as he ate three of his bars, getting some color back to his cheeks and focusing harder. Lightning would be sparking around him and in the center of the circle. It would flash at faster intervals, continuing to spark. He would stop suddenly, dropping into a running stance. The Lightning would be swirling around him like a barrier, his strength visibly returning to his body. The lightning bolt from the center of the circle would strike him and the barrier would burst outward slightly, though not harmfully, and Jack would stand up with a smile as he wiped the sweat off his face. "Told you I could take it."

Violet jerks away from the lightning with a smile as Jack slides to a stop in front of her. She just shakes her head at him. "I've never done it on someone who is supernatural before, so I guess you didn't die." She rolls her eyes, but feels extremely relieved. She smiles carefully at him. "I'm glad you're okay though." She waves her hand over the shadows in her vial again, and they begin to slow down from spinning. She does notice, however, that they spin faster than normal shadows.

Jack would be smiling and hopping in place a bit, getting his limbs loosened back up. "Believe me, it didn't exactly feel like skipping through daisies. Maybe rose bushes." After vibrating for a second, Jack would just step a bit closer. Little sparks would be seen moving around him occasionally. "So, what do you want to do now?" He would say, trailing off questioningly.

Violet chuckles and says, "Hey it's your turn to choose. I already made you do something today already." She points to her vial. "It's your turn."

Jack would just drop on his knees, obviously feigning a faint as he drops to the ground. " but there's just SOOOO much to do! And I almost just wanna run. I love running. Do you want to run with me?" He would say peeking up at her from behind his dramatically placed arm.

Shane shook his head holding in a laugh before walking over to her. "Alright, here's what you want to do", he gently took her hands and raised them up to her neck level. Guessing she was right handed he took her right hand and moved it closer to her while her left was slightly further out. Once that was done he motioned her to keep her hands where they were and ball them into fists. "Alright now take your dominant foot and place it forward and take your other foot and place it firmly behind you and bend your knees slightly. That way if someone tries to push you the foot behind you can help to keep you up". Shane walked back over to his end of the mat and got into his stance, "Now when you're ready, I want you to inch towards me while still in your stance then swing at me. Don't worry I can take it" he grinned a bit as he waited for Ariella to make her move.

Ariella looked at Shane laughing but she did laugh herself as he did. "Uh-" her face suddenly turned red by Shane touching her hand. He did the pose for her with the hands, but with the legs she placed her foot forward while the other was behind her and she bent her knees, just incase. "Wha-What? You want me to hit you...? Uhhhh." Shaking off the hit he gave his analysis, "You're fast but you need more power when you strike or else all you'll end up doing is pissing your opponent off. Let's try again, this time I want you to give everything you've got."

Mira chuckled, a strange, forced sound. She seemed surprised by the noise, and put a hand to her mouth. How long has it been since I've laughed? She looked up at Ryan again and folded her hands in her lap. "I'm Mira. My mom had powers with plants. I have powers with plants and animals." She only then realized how stupid she sounded. Heat flashed in her face and she turned her attention to the walls. "Want to sit?" She asked him, patting the floor beside her. "I don't bite. Only my pets do."

Ariella felt her punch going to Shane's jaw as she suddenly got scared. "I'm sorry! I thought you would've had dodged it already!" But for some reason...Shane wasn't even hurting or anything. He just spoke. "Well.....fine..." she said as she would send her left arm straight towards Shane's face, with all her strenght and power. But as she did that a training dummy nearby exploded into pieces. How was this? Well Ariella was concentrating as if SHANE was the training dummy and that was how the real training dummy exploded, by the object's molecules speeding up. Ariella didn't get to punch Shane because of how fast and put more a power punch. It made an object close to her to explode. Ariella's powers were dangerous but she would never use it against a human. Well she could but it could be her freezing powers. Ariella looked at the training dummy on the floor all broken up to pieces. "Sorry...." she said worried looking at Shane. "Im so sorry..."

A crackling noise comes on over the PA system once again. Everyone would hear a woman clear her voice slightly before Jinx's musical voice says, "Alright everyone. Head down to the classroom and sit down. If you are not in there before I get in there, then there will be dire consequences. Some of you might just be having a little bad luck after class. I will put Mammoth on all of you if you don't get down to the classroom immediately." The PA system crackles back off and Jinx steps down from the box. She smiles as she begins to think about what punishment she could give them. She begins a slow walk down to the classroom, looking around at all of the students in the hallways and in the training rooms. She smiles as pink sparks crackle around her finger tips and being putting small marks on the walls. Oh she would be having a lot of fun with these children in team drills. --- Violet looks up as the message replays through the school. She looks at Jack and says, "Told you." She begins to walk toward the classroom and sits down in one of the front rows, waiting for the others.

He couldn't hide it, the explosion caught him off guard and for the first time in a while he was scared, for a moment that was, couldn't let anyone see him shaken up. "Alright all we have to do is combine that with hand to hand combat and you'll be unstoppable", he said with a grin before the PA system come on. "Sounds like free time is over, hey nice one with that training dummy. If you wanna train some more I'll either be here or...around if you need me". Shane walked over to where he left his hood and Riya and grabbed both of them. Putting on his hood he grinned back at Ariella before shifting into rift form leaving only the white eyes of the riftman visible. In an instant he disappeared and was on his way to his next class.

Ariella noticed Shane flinch hard, knowing that he was pretty scared about her power. This was one of the reasons why didn't want to SHOW people her abilities. But it just happened randomly... and unexpectedly. "Thanks..." and that was when she heard the PA system coming on. "Alright. Se--...." and then he left. "Okay...." Ariella turned around and ran to the next class, she did -NOT- want to be late for class. And yes, her knee was still a bit in pain she managed to still run to her next class.

Not spending all his time in the chemistry lab, James had moved on to electronics. This was a field he was more familiar with. It was also how he intended to fill in his gap in knowledge. This would take time though. Lifting his head when the announcement came it would apparently take more time than he had. Gathering up the things he had so far he threw it all in a bag and headed out. He was a bit further back from the classroom than he would like. It meant halls to go down and even a few levels to got up. Jinx threatened them with punishment if they were late. Very well then. Moving to below the classroom he stacked a chair on a table and climbed up. Using his powers he cut a hole into the empty room above. Climbing up he returned the material he had removed and did the same thing again, making it to the classroom before most everyone else. He of course returned the floor like the last.
