Basically his mother was fae she had blocked out certain memories she didn't know it would hurt him if he tried to remember. Though anyway he's encountered lycans once before, he had just been sitting middle of the woods when he felt something nudge his back. Mark turned a wolf was standing before him, though his mother found him a couple minutes later quickly picked him up and ran. Still trying to figure out what other memories that would cause that kind of pain.
