So, how do we want to approach this, considering the fact that Jamie can't talk yet? It would be pretty easy for me to have him act as though he could neither see nor hear Laurel, but I'm not sure if that is what we really want to do. You have any thoughts on the matter?

Sorry this took so long. I was at Disneyland today. And...well... If he doesn't speak to her, she'll probably try and ignore him as best as she can hoping he'll disappear. But if we think of something better together I'm all for it.

Disneyland? Sounds fun. I wouldn't be able to stand the lines, though. I feel like there is a better option, because if they do try and ignore each other then they're, well, ignoring each other. There's no point to it other than trying to pass the time. Unfortunately, I have no clue what a better option would be. Which is why I brought it here... I guess if we can't come up with anything else we can always just go with that, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Well, when do you want him to figure out how to communicate?

He's going to figure it out just in time to save Laurel from walking into the trap that Derek and Jenna have set for her. That's kinda why I made up that whole thing. He is able to do new things under moments of extreme duress.

Well, unless he tries communicating with her in some way she'll probably be trying her best to ignore him and pretend like he's not there. Approximately when is this trap going to happen, or is it a surprise?

I guess that kind of depends on where we want to go. If you want to just jump to the next day, push things forward, I'd say go ahead and have her go to bed. If you want them to have some kind of... awkward, impromptu interaction, that's just fine with me. We simply have to figure out what it is.

I'm fine either way, as well. Having them awkwardly interact might be fun.
