The womans response was good enough for him. As long as she her self new what they were getting into, it was alright with him. Meta began to think, due to the fact that he had gotten here early, he had been unable to introduce himself to the group, that would pose as a problem. But Meta refocused on what was going on now, apparently, the woman called herself "Captain". It was an okay name, nothing huge, nothing little. After properly introducing herself, Captain instructed the one name "TK" to introduce him self and demonstrate his abilities. After the usual cocky, and playful banter, he proceeded to use telekinesis, it was a strong power when used by a knowledgeable person, he hoped "TK" was just that. After his performance, Meta whistled, it was a respectable one that showed that he was impressed, to say the least.

[The Patriarch]

"I hope you guys aren't going to resort to threats to try and keep us in line. Some of us aren't anti heroes and never will be, being super serious is so nineties and eighties" Simon said crossing his arms. even though he didn't know him, Simon had a feeling that he might like John and he didn't seem to be such a hard case. Simon created a gummy bear chair and sat down on it. He put on his candy crown and made gumballs appear above his head. He made them swirl around in like fast moving planets orbiting the sun and made one of them fly into his mouth and he began to chew it.

He then began to blow a bubble and thanks to his powers he kept making it expand to point where it was larger than an exercise ball, if it popped then it would possibly send gooey sticky gum all over the place.

Once she was captured, Ruby let out a distressed meow. Could the man not see that she was trying to escape from the building? Ruby could easily go into half-cat form and escape the man's grasp, as he probably would not be prepared for a sudden person appearing to be in his arms instead of a much smaller cat. When the man asked where her owner was, and if she had a collar, Ruby lets out another meow. Rachael would not like to hear that someone was calling about Ruby, as last time, Ruby was kept inside for a few days. This time...

Her thoughts were interrupted when a loud voice came from the stairs. It seemed to grab everyone's attention, except Ruby was still set on escaping. She looked at Josh's face, her eyes locking with his, and she hissed, hissed like no normal cat should be able to, desperately wanting out of his grasp. She showed her teeth meanwhile. All these people are evil. Damn evil. They torture cats. She thinks, while she squirms and hisses some more.

Josh was still frozen in place. Forgetting g he even had the cat until it locked eyes with him and hissed. That wasn't normal. It was a hiss, no dou t about it. But there was something off about it. "Are you ok?" He said, rubbing the cats belly with his finger.

His head rose again when TK was called out. He gave a demonstration of his power. Jayke was amazed. He'd never seen anything like it. He wouldn't have believed it if he hasn't saw it himself

Jayke ran the woman's words through his head a few times. This is what he was looking for. To be able to fight. With other people for something good. He didn't care how bossy this 'Captain' was, this is his chance to do something.

Ruby hisses once again, however she was trying to stop herself from purring, as the belly rubbing was quite nice. She turned and hissed at everyone else, then returned to hissing at Josh, the main character of her capture. Doesn't he know when a cat wants free!? She thinks to herself. She shows her teeth, hissing uncat-like again, and attempts to bite into his hand. I will escape. I will escape. If this didn't work, Ruby would be forced to turn into a half-cat, and escape that way.

"What're you so angry about huh?" Josh said. He rubbed the cat behind the ears. He could see Jayke looking at him from the corner of his eye. People were too focused on TK to notice what was going on. "Look at her, don't tell me you'd instantly fall on love with this?" Josh said, with slight disbelief

Captain frowns in the direction of the Candy King. "I don't do threats. I ask you something and I expect it to be done." She then turns to TK. "Very good. Please step aside." Her eyes scan the room, looking for the next person. Her eyes land on Jayke. "You. Come show us what you can do."

Jayke stepped forward. He was nervous. No, he was terrified. He needed to prove to these people that he was good enough. He slowly stepped into the centre and felt his heart sank as everyone watched him. He hoped no one noticed his fear as he took a deep breath. "Ok, so my name is Jayke Damon. I don't actually have a hero name, or a costume, or anything really. I don't need a costume. Not when I can wear anyone else's. Did I say costume? Costume kinda sounds childish to be honest. Anyway, all I need to do is this," he says as he grabs the captain's hand, hoping he doesn't get shot. He quickly changes. (he changes like mistique on XMen) He let go of the captains hand and shows himself, of herself really, to everyone. "When I make skin to skin contact with any living thing I store their genetics, allowing me to shift. I don't know how the whole clothes thing works though, I just seem to get them along with the shift. Unfortunately I can only store the genetics for a maximum of five hours so once time's up, I revert back to my normal form, like so" He said as he changed back to himself

Cyn listened and observed the proceedings as they progressed. While she was very used to following orders in her family she was also a very independent an felt the need to treat people with respect if they did her as well.

She saw how the others were asked to demonstrate what they could do and pondered what she'd do to demonstrate hers.

Ruby watches Jayke reveal his power, and she began to panic. All these people are weird! And this man keeps on doing things that should not be done to me without Rachael's permission. I'm her cat, not his! She thinks to herself, frustration building. With a lot of hesitation, she transforms into her half-cat form, and struggles hard. As soon as she is free from Josh's grasp, she aims a punch at his face, and she makes a dash for the stairs, not even knowing if she scored a hit, almost tripping as she rushes up and out.

Josh was in shock as the cat turned into as girl right infront of him and recieved a swift punch to the nose. Was not expecting that at all. She ran to thee stairs and Josh thought it's probably not wise to grab her. Everyone seemed fascinated with Jayke, although a few heads turned. Josh ran to the door. "Wait," he said quickly. "I'm not going to hurt you. Just talk to me"
Blood started to drip from his nose but he was too fixated on the girl to notice

[The Patriarch]

Simon was so eager to show what he could do that he didn't pay attention to the giant bubblegum balloon and it enxpanded enough to hit a splinter and it popped. There was a loud pop and sticky chewing gum flew everywhere, unless everyone took a really quick evasive actions then they would get bubblegum on them.

"Whoops, that bubblegum trick blew up in my face" he said hardly able to contain his laughter and he covered his mouth trying not to fall on the ground laughing.

Josh managed to dodge the gum. Jayke, however, wasn't as lucky.
Josh quickly turned his attention back to the ca-, the girl.

Cyn saw the gum bubble pop an used her only option to dodge getting the disgusting an sticky substance on herself kicking off the couch into a backflip which ended with her crouched behind the furniture

Ruby was already up the stairs by the time the gum exploded, and she slammed the door of the building behind her, beginning to run across the street, dodging cars that beeped as she ran in front of them, narrowly missing most of them. She ran into an alley, and leaped up onto a dumpster, and then ascended onto the roof. She began to run in the direction of Rachael's house. If Josh was still chasing her, she would hide in the house. If not, she would work out a way to... Obtain an anti-hero squad. Perhaps a gang would aid her. They certainly wouldn't want heroes running around.

Umi watched as a girl with cat ears ran passed her vision. She backed up and pressed herself against the wall she was leaning against. Whatever had run passed her wasn't fully human. It was scarier than a human or an animal. Umi tried to keep her power from being activated. Sadly, her efforts were in vain. Her power began to affect the people extremely close to her, sending the few people standing close enough to be affected in a downward spiral of fear.

[The Patriarch]

"Well I guess it is time for me to show a bit more of my powers" Simon said and with those words he made several baseball sized jawbreakers appear in the air around him. He began to make them fly around the room doing weird maneuvers and he then made several very large green lickerish and sour glowworms which were about the size of a big python. Simon finally made the hardy candy that his chest and shoulder plates were made out of grow sharp candy spikes.

"I have a a way with sweets, I'm the king of candy" he said with a grin.

Captain is able to dodge the gum by doing a back handspring backwards. Leonardo shifts to the side quickly avoids most of it. Captain whips around and glares at Simon. "I don't care if you're the king of England; you are going to clean this mess up, you hear?" she snarls at him. Her blond hair falls in front of her faces and she flips it over her head and out of the way, still fuming. She looks around and sees Josh near the end of the hallway. "Your turn," she says, pointing at him.
