Aristo seems to be the only one of our new people not getting banned.

@vancexentanStrange; I noticed that as well. A quick look at La Inquisidora's recent posts shows quite a bit of hostility in some other threads, so maybe be was banned for that reason. The other "new players" might've been alt. accounts to get back on the site. But regardless, that's a matter for the higher-ups to handle.

@TreasureSniperI don't like to nitpick, but I have to express a tiny bit of concern with the Vermilion Gundam. Its blade can cut through other beam sabers, rendering victory in melee combat a near-certainty; the "Vermilion Touch" system has no defense - it can blast right through solid armor, and both beam fields and I-fields. It and the shield can absorb (which is a neat gimmick, I suppose) and completely nullify beam attacks without losing integrity.

Put all this together and I'm a little wary about considering the machine OP. I guess it comes down to how you use it IC - is the "Vermilion Touch" really as powerful as you make it out to be, and is there a limit to what it and the shield can withstand? With a beam-negating sword like that, you'd pretty much breeze through any melee encounter, and I assume it also goes right through beam shields and I-fields.

I'll back up Aristo in regards the the beam sabers. I didn't speak up or anything due to no one else not having a problem with it but I'll stick my foot in now too.

My post sort of assumes there's at least a few of you at the hobby store, but we'll wing it.

Darn, I really should read the SU's more.

@AristoThanks for bringing this to attention ^^

But yea, I'm agreeing with them. You shouldn't start off with such a OP suit. Not to mention you have like two systems that you can stack on top of one another. Its sorta like a double whammy for a no whammy situation. If that makes any sense.

One comprise I can think of is the power problem. A Mobile Suit like that will use a lot of power so basically fast-attack is the only option, making extensive operations very dificult.

Power is one thing but The Vermillion's weapons is the real problem. Weapons like those should be reserved for the near-end of the RP.

While the Sengoku Astray Gundam in the anime has swords that are similar in practice, I think our starting Gunpla should be toned down and less-reliant on special powers or particle gimmicks. After all, none of our characters are kid geniuses and probably don't know the full potential of the Plavsky particles yet. We're just shooting for this US youth tournament; the high-tier Gunpla with those godly abilities are mostly world-class.

Good argument there. Seeing this is a few years after Build Fighters and two years before Try I can say there can be some innovations becoming the norm. Miss Lindemann and Red Hot would be strongest fighters in the RP so far but that can be explained with their experience and skill as builders. I haven't revealed the secret of Miss Lindemann's Sandesgeist yet and in her full capacity it is a lot stronger.

For students I can say this can be nerfed as being unable to catch up with everyone else later on, a flawed prototype or unable to make an improved model later on.

Honestly I kinda half expected you guys to say something like this from the moment I posted that character sheet. But worry not , I'm gonna make some amendments to the gundam stats and equipment to make it balanced. Thank you for the feedback.

I skimmed over your CS and it seems to me like your Armaments have only marginally been weakened. I still feel its OP and I'm going to say that its probably the functions you don't want to change that's the cause of its Op'ness. Features that involve beam severing and nullification, the likes, should offer a horrible drawback, either battle-wise or character development-wise.

On top of all this, you've made your battler with extremely fast reflexes. With a suit that nerfs most others, its too much in my opinion. If I may, I would compare your Gunpla to a World Classes.

And what's the immediate effects of using the Exam system and why was it needed when you have the Trans Am?

Just a few things I noticed personally.
