Alright, people, I'm good to go. As soon as you have set a theme for your motley, let me know, and I'll start a post in the tabletop section. By the way, the story will take place in Kingman, Arizona. Doorways leading to freeholds can be found in Palo Christi Elementary School (Thornfort), the town of Oatman (The Ghastly), the Hualapai Mountain Recreation Area (Gerard's Place) and the Grand Canyon Caverns (Faebane).

Hmmm, what would be a good theme for us? Any ideas, anyone?

A few themes I came up with: Gravewalkers; built around a graveyard theme. (Gargoyle/statues, maggots, grave dirt, corpses, grave flowers, ect) Huntsmen; based on a grand hunting procession. (Hounds, heralds, musicians, prey, ect) Witch's house; based on a fairy tail witch. ("Creepy" animals, mushrooms, plant gatherers, strange guard beasts, ect)

The Gravewalker and Witch's House themed ones draw me the most.

I like the grave-walkers theme the most, as I feel it's the one I could make a character around the best and leads to the most diversity for characters over all. Of course, adding to the fairy tale witch theme, a fairy tale theme in general wouldn't be so bad.

Gravewalkers is my favorite theme as well. I have always enjoyed the morbid. What Seemings are everyone interested in? I'd say list two and hopefully we can have everyone from different Seemings. Mine would be Darkling and Ogre.

Actually, I wouldn't quite reccomend the graveyard theme, as the story I have prepared doesn't deal with the morbid and the hereafter. Thus, the witch and the hunter themes would be more appropriate for a Keeper, as would be a dreaming/sleep/slumber concept. That said, I'd rather you chose only one seeming each.

I more meant pick two so there's a fallback so hopefully everyone can have a unique Seeming. But yeah, Witch's House works for me.

I had originally planned to be an Elemental Mannikin, but now that we're thinking themes, it probably doesn't fit anymore XD Oh well, I could still possibly be some kind of Elemental, but I wouldn't mind being a Fairest either.

Elemental Mannikin; voodoo doll? I think it fits just fine. My concept would be an Ogre that was used as a monstrous guard sort of thing. Probably a Gristlegrinder.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to choose either Darkling or Fairest. I'd most like Fairest, really. I have an idea for a character that was used as entertainment by their Keeper, of any sort, and kept in some sort of trance. They'd most likely be Treasured or Minstrel. I'd also like to know what sort of rating we're going for here? Like PG13 or any variation of those.

No, what I think Inferno meant was that you should pick the two Seemings you would most prefer to play. For example, Inferno said they would like to play either a Darkling or an Ogre while Serinkaela said they would most like to play either a Darkling or a Fairest. Both of them wouldn't mind playing a Darkling, but they also have another Seeming they wouldn't mind playing if the other one insists on making a Darkling character. This kind of makes sense considering Darkling seems to be a pretty popular choice for Changeling characters. Basically, it's making it so we each get a unique Seeming but everyone is still playing a Seeming they really want. Does that make sense?

That's exactly what was implied, yes. For me, I would prefer to play Fairest, because I have the most ideas for that Seeming, but I could also fit that into Darkling. Or Beasts, for that matter. Also it was brought to my attention that my initial idea didn't quite fit with the witch theme, mostly because I totally forgot. So ignore my last statement sorry. Adult themes are more than fine with me, no worries. (Also I apologise if the way I'm doing things isn't how they're normally done on a forum setting, I've never really played a game like this in such a thing. If I'm not following some sort of unspoken rule feel free to tell me, I'd much rather know than make a fool of myself.)

I'm quite alright with adult themes, I kind of expect them in an NWOD game. My character is going to be an Ogre Gristlegrinder, chained to the "front porch" so to speak and used as a guard monster, as well as being fed the unused refuse from the 'witch's brew', and occasionally having extremities (fingers and toes) chopped off for use in said brew.
