[OOC] A Slice of Mechanical Life (Private Until Filled)

It's closed when it is filled, and open if there are availabilities. I fucked up the title when I was tired. IT'S OK IT'S FUNNY THOUGH. ___________________________________________________ INTRODUCTION In 'A Slice of Mechanical Life' the GM (Fleeter), may at will, generate scenario posts that force players to engage a response to. By doing so it affects the story of the world and how future scenarios will be generated. While there is no active scenario, players, including the GM (if desired), will roleplay as normal considering the current setting and limitations. In the beginning the world will be very normal anime/manga slice of life. Play and do whatever you want as long as it is grounded in reality. Eventually players will be granted powers, of which players have no choice over, basically, "SURPISE!" Players will also be granted items, abilities, or weapons they otherwise would not have found on their own in the world. Note that the world is typically modern day, so if you have powers to fly, police might take notice. It's up to you whether you want to do it, and obviously you would be specifying if you were sneaking at night, or doing it in a crowd. Either way, these actions have good or bad consequences and may trigger an event. WORLD INFORMATION For simplicity's sake there is only 1 city, TRIP CITY that players must stay in. You can leave the outskirts of the city and enter forested or otherwise realistic terrain, but that is as far as you're allowed to go. We can't have characters all the way in other countries-- it would get too complicated. Players can make up any part of the city as long as it is grounded in reality. For example a mall, arcade, colleges, parks, highways, etc., as long as it is set in modern day. There should be nothing unusual unless it is a GM scenario, or you gained a power/item. Trip City may alter in appearance and function as the RP continues. RULES ---Do not ignore the GM's rules ;) ---To have an accepted character they must be 'slice of life' material. So they must be grounded in reality of anime/manga. Otherwise there is no limitation on age, occupation, or whatever! You do not start off with any powers! ---All characters not accepted in the 'Characters' tab can be played by a GM. For example if you made a little sister outside the 'Characters' tab, the GM could control her. Maybe she'll just act sweet, or she might turn into an alien. Who knows! For example, your highschool teacher or classmates. ---At least 2 sentence posts. ---Don't RP as a currently controlled GM character. For example, if your sister turned into a monster currently, you can't attack her and say that she's suddenly not a monster because you said so. ---You can't request a power/item/skill you will be granted it depending on your actions. ---If you don't like any of the ideas presented here, in IC, or whatever, maybe this RP isn't for you. This is very experimental. ---If you don't respond to an activity check, which will happen at random times (mostly if too many people become too inactive) your character will be taken over by the GM. You will have to request your character back. At that time will we usually accept more applicants.

I used an OC of mine. If I created myself, it would have been a bit...lame. I'm just a normal fifteen year old nerd, and I'm not a master martial artist. I would have spent the entirety of the RP playing video games and watching old 90s movies. xD

Oh, I exaggerated myself quite a bit, I DO learn from my father I just don't train it too much, we're both the same, 15 year old nerds who love videogames and movies. (Well, ALMOST 15, but eh, close enough) ICly Me would be cuddling Touhou plushies all day and not give a shit, same what I would do in real life XD

Oh I also wanted to say, events will be leaned more towards people who post more. So if someone is posting once a week, chances are, someone who posts once or more a day will more likely have an event happen to them. I like feeling that a character has established some ground in the real world before throwing them down a rabbit hole.

We need at least one more character before starting, but I'd at least like 4 (not including me). I added in the rules that there will be activity checks. More information there. It's just a buffer to keep the RP going and open to new users.
