Rather than have her related to someone specific, her paternal family can be among the sea death eaters/Voldy political supporters that were not specifically named. As for her house. I vote for Slytherin if you are having trouble deciding!

I'm defiantly cool with her flunking her entrance test, and being a bit older. I'm also okay with calling it bad-math on my part and changing her birth year XD It is very possible that she might ask the hat to put her in Slytherin so that she could be like her dad ^_^
