Erased from history the actual event of the black death that had ravaged the world. The exact origin of the Filth Virus is unknown and all efforts to combat had resulted in failure. Though as the plague struck the dead also started rising, the black filth reanimating the dead and started terrorizing medieval Europe. From the mighty kings to the lowliest of peasants combated this threat. Though it was all for naught. No matter how much they pushed back the dead kept overwhelming humanity until something else that went bump in the night had surfaced. Children of the night, the vampires had emerged. With their own lives threatened as the only food edible food was been consumed by the mindless onslaught of flesh. Offering their aide in combating the threat of extinction. Humanity and the vampire occult fought and turned back the tide of the flesh eating dead. Doing so resulted in a barely able but sustainable balance that once existed before hand ;however, the vampires aide wasn't without a cost. Several kings and entire groups of people where required to bolster back the ranks of the vampire race. Therefore a deal was made, when the world repopulated groups of people would be sent for to be turned. Though before that could happen a massive scale hypnosis was done to ensure the discovery of the unnatural or what was deemed to be unnatural. Sealing away the remains of the Filth Virus away in now what is the Czech Republic, a vault that was to seal the virus for eternity. Though nothing is eternal. -2 Years to infection- (2020) An anarchist group known simply as Revelation 6:8, referencing the horsemen of the apocalypse. Dedicating themselves to a worldwide devastation and destroy life simply put. Why, when or who it was formed is unknown just that its purpose was total annihilation. Somehow knowing of this Filth virus, digging its remains reanimating the virus. Perfecting this lethal biological weapon over time, to ensure its spread not only lethal but downright diabolical. Waiting and testing figuring the right combination for exposure. -1 1/2- Years to infection- (2023) London a summit of world leaders meeting to discuss matters or the dwindling petroleum reserves in the middle east and how to deal with the crisis of 1000 dollar barrels of oil. A Polish ambassador in attendance at the meeting was attacked. How he moved so fast or was so strong couldn't be comprehended. The ambassador had survived the attack narrowly if it wasn't for a stream of police that had flooded hearing the attack. The attack that of a young man and inexperienced in the ways assassination led to his capture. Instead of avoiding a mass scale killing to get one of the new bloods out and maybe just a bit of rashness the vampire occult had come out. Announcing themselves to the British Parliament and the rest of the world. The initial reaction was skeptical but with how they moved, looked and the metamorphism when the began to feed it was obviously clear who and what they were. -10 days to infection- A blank tape sent void of any instructions or labels was produced in front of the U.N. from the vampires representative. Its contents were said to be disturbing. The public at this time didn't know what the contents were at this time, but unanimously by all the representatives stated something would be done. In the following aftermath massive concrete barriers were being erected world wide in large cities. Untold as to why. -8 days to infection- Civil collapse has occurred in New York, Munich, New Delhi and other cities. So in a world wide communication the vampires had hacked the web inserting the very video that was provided to the U.N to help give humanity some chance to stem this tide of evil. Trying to inspire the populace to help their leaders in the coming days. The tape showing in a closed room the effects of a biological weapon on a scale never before seen. The mist sprayed and within minutes a by stander that was caught and used in the experiment. Within fifteen minutes, the veins start turning black. Choking and gagging, gasping for air suffocating to death. And before the helpless victim hit the ground and monstrosity was born. Combing the black death with modern science for an even deadlier cocktail of death. Shocked by such an outrage on him life, the civilian populace did what they could to help stem tide against the dead. Quitting jobs, working along side each other. It would be to late though. -INFECTION AND BEYOND- Some cities were successful in barring themselves from the world, the others that weren't meet their doom. The Filth as the Revelation called it was dropped into several key places around the world thanks to a paramilitary group out of North Korea. Spreading like wild fire it consumed all in its wake. All withing a hundred square miles were either killed or turned into the living dead. Rumors that some places such as Iceland and other island on the same scale hadn't been infected though with the virus. But any communication was gone as with what most of humanity had before the outbreak was gone so no such luck was found in contacting the untouched. The rest of survivors were cramped into mega supercities, uncomfortable where only the rich were comforted with the minor amenities such as orange juice and clean water to bath with. While the most of society the exception being the older elite vampires that had used their own immense powers to size luxury. Cramped into small quarters forced to survive on recycled rations of what the cities barely produced in the underground farms and markets. Los Angeles one of such cities is on the brink of collapse, no one knows it but the inevitable is to happen soon. As the elite ignore the well being of the city and the dead pound from the outside in. The fortress is cracking and breaking quickly, only a matter of time as this once majestic metropolis is overwhelmed by the dead. Being five years since the initial infection to date. ~Zombies~ Type 1(Majority): The plague is set and still retain base reflexes and motorskils without reasonable thought. They're still quick and agile though, able to move as they did in life. Type 2: Aged and mostly from graveyards and are badly decomposed, these types still have no reasoning skills and attack on sight though are significantly slower. Type 3: Mostly hulking behemoths of rotting gangling flesh. Have shown some skills in the thought process and even seen controlling minor hordes from time to time. Able to projectile vomit to infect more, though with the rotting flesh it sometimes gags on its own vomit preventing the spewing of disease. Severe damage to the brain is still the quickest way to kill these ten to fifteen foot monsters, but to due so requires heavy fire power or a vampire with death to inflict such damage. Type 4: Only a handful of these have ever been encountered. Few of the vampires themselves have been turned to the horde of death. With the thinking skills of a child and these matriarchs/patriarchs are best left avoided. With luminescent yellow eyes retaining half their speed in life. ~Vampires~ Their whole existence is shrouded in mystery and only the ancients remain, three of them in fact. Their current whereabouts are unknown. But as bodies of extreme beauty, they used this trait to lure in unsuspecting hosts or prey. Though when it comes time to feed they're mouths become something of nightmare. An unhingable jaw of razor teeth (think thirty days of night), sink to drain their victims. To become one has to become a familiar, essentially their slave in short. Though both parties have to give consent before this occurs. Vampiric blood is a highly sought after as a powerful drug, combining the best traits from heroin, meth and mushrooms without the severe after effects. They're speed and strength grows with age but on the average basis the last recorded vampire had shown the ten times the strength of mega power lifter and ten times the speed of the fastest Olympic runner. What they do currently. Certain jobs are needed more so than others for example doctors, electricians, etc... Yes it would be alright.

  This is Liss' primary weapon and she's quite skilled at using it.

  Liss isn't a particularly good shot. She often misses her targets and causes far more trouble than she's worth. She still continues to volunteer and help out though, and the officials allow her since she's a good help when it comes to brute force.

Profession: Soldier? (idk what to call it but she sometimes helps with security and doing rounds around the city) Personality: Liss is confident and exuberant, someone who is often described by other people as childish because of her little antics. She is someone who's always prepared to offer a helping hand, especially around the city where she feels that people need to do more. She's not particularly book-smart, but Liss knows how to handle people. She can determine their emotions and feelings with just a simple look, and knows the perfect words to say to influence someone's emotions. Liss' innocence sometimes turns into naivety, to the point that she can't determined which is good for her and which isn't. She's also honest to the point of being tactless, often hurting people's feelings without knowing it. She's also quite possessive, especially when it comes to her relationships with people. She gets jealous real easily, and hates how clingy she becomes during times like that. Bio: Before the infection, Liss never really cared about politics and whatnot. She simply enjoyed her life as a student in Minnesota, studying computer engineering and doing her duty as a member of a Greek athletic organization. She was failing, but despite it, she still attempted to put up a positive attitude. Her roommate then had been an activist rallying against the government, but Liss never really paid attention to what her reason had been. She often heard words like 'revelation' and 'vampires', which she just put down as metaphors, because really? Vampires? Liss had been in the middle of an exam when the infection happened, and she couldn't believe what she was seeing. She had been scared out of her wits, and had come close to being a zombie happy meal when she met Diana, the most beautiful girl she'd ever seen. She watched as Diana ripped the zombies apart with her bare hands, and Liss was in awe. She quickly learned that Diana was a vampire when Diana changed in front of her from being a goddess into a monster. But, Liss found that she wasn't afraid. She offered her blood and asked for Diana to take her in. She didn't know why she did, but Diana made Liss her familiar and led her to Los Angeles, where they found a sanctuary. Ever since then, Diana has trained Liss into protecting herself from the zombies. Liss' natural strength and agility had helped for when she was learning to use meelee weapons. Learning to fire a gun, on the other hand, had been something that Liss never grasped. Liss contributes to the city by helping out with the guards when they do rounds, but usually she just acts as Diana's familiar.

Now that I'm done polishing out my original idea, I'll set it up. Appearance: Name: Piotr Molotov Age: 30 Equipment: Handgun from a dead survivor, gas mask, survival knife, med-kit. Profession: Scavenger/combat medic. Personality: Terse, minimalist, and disdainful of the undead. He also is quite cynical, stemming from his Russian heritage. He believed that if humanity was more orderly, they would not have to rely on vampire aide. Bio: Born to Russian immigrants in Florida after the debacle, he relatively had a rough upbringing. Though his family was near poverty, they managed to eat and eventually when he and his siblings came of age, got jobs to support the family. Learning medicine while also practicing marksmanship (to better the hand-eye motor coordination), the young Piotr found that he had an aptitude for healing others. Perfect to support his family. When the chaos happened, he made it out barely alive, while he started having doubts of USA competence. The straw that broke the camel's back were the events that lead to the infection worldwide. "Religion is truly the opium of the masses..." Grimly retreating to his knowledge, he prepared himself. Scavenging what he could to eke out his supplies, Piotr would stop at nothing to support his tight-knit kin. TLDR: Russian-American action survivor.
