The grand airship of Beacon floated majestically over the kingdom of Vale. As beautiful and excellent peice of enginneering, the airship was effectively nothing more than a glorified school bus. It had made its rounds to various locals to pick of first year students. With each stop, more and more students came on bored. Everyone were excited in their own way. Each student was on the verge of a new adventure. Those with companions were talking up a storm, those without companions either tried to join those who did. Naturally, few kept quiet. As the airship began to fill up with more and more people, the noise of chitchat grew louder and louder. The airship made a wide turn over the city of Vale so that the academy of Beacon could be clearly seen through the viewing window. For many, this was the first real glimpse of Beacon they had ever had. Liliana had barely gotten on board the airship. She was picked up at the last stop before Beacon. She had no come on board with anyone. She made her way through the crowd of people and tried to listen to every conversation. She was looking for a conversation that she could casually slip into. The first 24 hours at beacon was crucial. It decided your team for the rest of the four years perhaps longer. This time was an important game of judging and strategizing in the hopes you get a good team. Unfortunately for her, She could not seem to find anywhere she could fit in. Everyone seemed to know someone else already. When the airship turned and the academy, She was among the first to notice it. She made her way quickly to the window to take a look. Victor was among the first people aboard the grand airship of Beacon. He had not cared to mingle with the other who came on board with him or on the multiple stops along the way. He sat himself down on a seat by the window. He had brought a book with him to read. A small mystery novel he had picked up in a bookstore this very morning. Because he had his nose buried in the book, most people did not approach him for conversation. It was perfectly in line with his wishes. However, as the airship departed from its final stop before the academy, he finished the novel. He set the book down and after a few moment, boredom set in. He should have grabbed a bigger book or read slower. He took his first honest look around the airship for the first time. His eyes read all the people they met like a book. As the academy came into view as the airship sailed though the skies, he did not notice until most of the crowd turned their attention out of the window.

"It's quite a site." Said a smooth voice from behind Liliana. A rather tall girl stood not quite behind her, gazing out at the approaching school. She had a somewhat full figure to go with her height, one that perhaps hadn't quite finished growing in due to being only in the middle of the awkward teenage years. But despite the youthful appearance she held herself with a rather mature sense of dignity and poise. She skin was a tan brown, almost like that of well polish leather of an expensive make, and her hair was very long, nearly reaching the floor. It was a nearly impossible shade of dark black, with the last foot of the straight hair sporting a sea-green color, likely dyed. She was wore a dress that was made of swirling patterns of various blue and green, all colors that were reminiscent of a tropical sea. A black sash was tied about her middle of a nearly sky blue color with designs on that similar to little waves. Hanging over one shoulder was Ukulele, of nearly the same sky blue. She gave Liliana a polite smile. "Pardon me, where I came from we rarely saw a small flying vessel, much less a massive airship like this, and we certainly didn't have any cites like Beacon. I couldn't help but express that, and since I rather doubt singing my feelings in a crowded place this would be much appreciated I figured speaking to someone who was also enjoying the view made the most sense." "oh god my aching head." grumbled a young woman as she rubbed at her temples with one hand, half stumbling about as if she was in a near drunken state. She shambled up against a window, by chance it happened to be the one that Victor was besides. She leaned against it, and putting her forehead against the cool glass as if to ease the dull throbbing pain she seemed to be experiencing. She was a unique looking young girl, her hair just reaching shoulder length, with a rich, dirty gold color that was very reminiscent of wheat. She dressed in what largely amounted to bright pink cowboy gear. In the hand not against her head was a pink cowboy hat, and over her top was a pink poncho that nearly reached her knees and seemed a little big on her. Hell she even had a pair of pink cowboy boots, even complete with golden spurs. Around the bottom and around the neck line of the poncho were a bronzy gold Celtic knot pattern. On the front center and back of the garment was a stylized hammer of thor writhed with in a circle. Leaning forward against the glass reveled that she appeared to have a pair of rather over sized handguns holstered about her waist, and that beneath the poncho she wore a sleeveless-Top, a slightly past knee-length skirt, and a golden band around her left bicep and around her right and around her right Thigh. This was Tordis Agnar, and she was counting the seconds till blessed touchdown and her airplane headaches departure. She continued to speak out loud, though it was hard to determine if she was speaking to Victor or herself. "This is why I wanted to take the BUS to Beacon, Don't get pressure-change headaches from a bus. But no, Beacon has to be a big show off and pick up every new student in a flipping airship." she grumbled through gritted teeth. "Seems like a needless waste of recourses and time if you ask me."

Liliana was surprised and excited that someone spoke to her. This was the opportunity she was waiting for she turned to face the person who spoke. She looked her up and down. She was impressed and intimidated by the girl's appearance. The girl was taller and better formed than she was. Liliana had her black hair was pulled back into a single pony tail and held in place with a black ribbon that was big enough to look like cat ears. She was wearing a white silk blouse with black lace for a top. She was wearing a matching white shirt over tight black jeans for a bottom. To finish the look she was wearing a large pair of fashionable boots that came almost halfway her shins. On her back casually rested her rifle. Liliana smiled at the girl before her and said, "I wish I had such a humble begins like you. Airships like this are common where I am from. I have been riding on ships like this almost my entire life." Liliana offers her right hand for a shake as she continues, "I am Liliana Cornwell, I am a wind-lance user. No, Wind and lance user. Wind lance! I like the sound of that actually. I am definitely a wind lance user. Its official. You may simply call me Lily if you like. I have been aiming to get into Beacon for what feels like forever now." Victor looked at the pink girl that so abruptly appeared next to him. He turned his eyes from the crowd and focused on the girl. The sheer amount of pink was annoying to look at. It would only serve to being flashy in combat. Perhaps that was what she was going for. It intrigued him in a way. He put his book down that he was pretending to keep reading. He listen to the girl complain. He did not know who she was talking to but He was the only one around she could be talking to. He thought for a moment and then decided to speak, "Pardon me, pink cowgirl? Since you so abruptly disrupted my reading, I could not help but over hear your whining. If you look out the window, you can see Beacon Academy. We shall be landing soon. Like you I also get pressure headaches, but apparently no where near as bad as yours seem to be. Please, take some gum and chew it. It helps..." Victor pulls a pack of gum out of his pocket and offers it to the girl.
