[IC] The Pack of Vandrow (Always open!)

[Valkyr]

Amber's ears drooped at the news. She thought back to where she had found the elk trail. It wasn't all that far from their dens. There was no doubt in her mind that the humans could simply wander into the clearing. It was only a matter of time. "I don't know if you've already been talking this over with the others, but I'm afraid we may be attacked," Amber replied quietly. "The scent I found wasn't that far off. They could be closing in on us."

[Whitewolf]

Misty's eyes widened when she heard this. If the humans attacked them first that would be disastrous. "We need to make sure that all the others know. You should go down to the stream and tell Lila and Renzo. I'll talk to Postremo and let him know as well." With that, she turned and made her way to her mate's den.

[Polaris North]

"I saw someone exit the clearing and found out that it was Amber. I went after her as she was alone of course." Renzo replied, sitting down and looking at the stream. "As for what she was doing... well, she will explain herself." He continued before bending down and drinking the water before sitting upright again.

[GhostWing]

"Amber left? On her own?" Lila asked, her eyes widening. What was she thinking?! Lila let out a sigh and got herself a drink of water. "I need her for a hunt tomorrow, she wasn't injured at all, was she?"

[Polaris North]

"Yes, she did." Renzo replied, looking at Lila as she drank. "She wasn't injured, thankfully. Although she might have been if she didn't pick the human scent up." He continued.

[GhostWing]

Lila jerked back from the water. "What human scent? Just how far did she get before you found her?"

[Polaris North]

"Honestly... it wasn't very far." Renzo replied, standing up and looking back to the direction from where they came from. "Come on, let's get back. It's dangerous."

[Ancient Amen]

Postremo was still on his den unable to go to sleep thinking what the humans are planning. He was still wondering if he should talk to Renzo and Misty about something really important. There wasn't enough information for his to come to the decision unless they get even closer. In the middle of thinking he heard someone walking toward his den.

[Valkyr]

Amber nodded, turned and darted towards the stream. Renzo already knew and might have already told Lila, but Amber had to make sure. She was nearing the stream when she finally heard their voices. "Renzo, Lila!" She called, trying to sound calm. She arrived at the stream and spotted the two of them. She quickly hurried over to them. "There you guys are," She said, huffing for air slightly. "Are you coming back to the dens? I told Misty about what happened and how close the scent was. She looks really worried."

[Whitewolf]

Misty saw Postremo lying in his den as she came to a stop at the mouth. "Do you mind if I come in?" she asked. "I wanted to talk to you about everything that's been going on."

[Aristocles]

Klondike gave Zia a little nuzzle. She seemed to be drifting off. Not that he could blame her. It was not easy to take in all of these recent changes. "Listen, I think I should get back to the others. You can follow me if you want to, or stay here. Or do whatever you want. I'm not in charge." He got up and left to find Renzo, Lily, Amber, Misty, or anyone else he would run into first.

[Ancient Amen]

Postremo found out that Misty came to talk to him about the situation so he said, "Sure I don't mind if you come in." He thought maybe she might have some important information about the humans.

[Whitewolf]

Misty came into the den and then lay down next to him. "Amber found the scent of the humans not far from the dens. They might be a lot closer than we originally thought. What do you think we should do?"

[Ancient Amen]

"Hmm...," Is all Postremo could say because she told him that the humans are getting too close. Postremo couldn't help but have a bad feeling about the humans getting close to the clearing. Then Postremo thought that maybe he should tell her his idea on how to get out of this situation without bloodshed. He turned to her and said, "I was thinking... Maybe we should move, like the whole pack somewhere far from the humans so we don't have to worry about them." He didn't have a plan but it was his idea of trying to make sure no one gets hurt or worse die. It would take some time to plan out the moving but thought it might not be necessary but the humans keep getting closer.

[Whitewolf]

Misty listened to him say that they should move, and she felt that it was probably the best idea. Sure, there was plenty of food here, but the risks were too great with humans around. They would be safer elsewhere, and maybe they would be able to have pups then when they were safe. She smiled and nodded. "I think that's a good idea. There is no point in staying where it's not safe. It's only a matter of time before the humans find us."

[Polaris North]

"We were just going back." Renzo replied to Amber. He walked past Amber and whispered, "Explain to Lila everything later." He then stopped once he was a good foot away from the she wolves.

[GhostWing]

Lila nodded and turned to head back with Renzo, thinking over this new information. Now what would they do? She looked up as Amber came running and watched the small exchange. "Come along, we need to see if I need to call off tomorrow's hunt," She said.

[Polaris North]

Renzo led the two back to the dens but as he continued down the path, he noticed a weird contraption. It was made of the same sharp, hard rocks the tube-like things held but this time it was shaped into a... mouth? It was opened wide with sharp teeth-like things on every end. He became cautious as he picked a rock up using his mouth and dropped it onto the contraption. The opened jaws snapped closed which made Renzo back up. "Interesting." He muttered to himself. This was probably from the humans. He looked at Lila and Amber and motioned them to hurry up as he, himself, sped through the forest and into the dens in hopes to see either Postremo or Misty.

Lila had sped up to be closer to Renzo, also dropping her body slightly to the ground and closer to any bushes. She generally did this out of habit since her white coat was fairly easily seen, especially since it was a full moon. She cocked her head when she spotted the odd thing and then jumped as Renzo set it off with a rock. "It's like teeth without an animal," She said.

[Polaris North]

"Indeed." Renzo replied before picking up his pace once more and now in the clearing where their dens were located. He slowed down to a stop and looked back to make sure nothing else was following them.
