A timeskip may be justified, but use it sparingly! It's not always the solution to inactivity. Perhaps an imminent gathering that's less disorderly than the party (in the old roleplay) would suffice!

EDIT: Google isn't just for searching up anime pics. I had to scream that at my friends in order for them to understand that we had an online textbook for our school.

I'm more surprised at the fact that you don't use Google or Yahoo, or any search engine at all. That's both admirable and weird in unique ways.
