You didn't think much of it, the first time you saw it. Those old looking posters plastered on certain street posts or sections of wall. They sort of just blended in with all the others, despite looking many more times old and weathered. The paper was a deep tan with wrinkles and frayed edges. Despite all this the printing was clear, curvy and concise.
"Do you have some interest in magic? Do you find the night whispers to you? Or that odd occurrences seem to follow you around? If so, then there is a home for you here."
"Take a left, skip two turns, take a right, and knock three times. If you are allowed in, you will know."
You might find it odd that a poster would give directions, always the same even if posted in different parts of the city, but of course if followed, you will always find a door, and any door can lead to home. You might also find it odd, that none of your friends ever noticed this poster, but of course who would? It's just a normal poster, right?

The guild of modern magic, a place for people who are different to gather. Whether or not you are a new member, you are welcomed with open arms. Most people find this place the same way, they find an old paper pinned somewhere in a city, follow the directions and arrive at a door. A normal door, that would lead into wherever is on the opposite side of it, unless you happened to follow a poster to it. The guild is a magical place, it's actual location unknown to all but a few select members, all others arrive there by knocking any old door, three times. What they find when opening the door is a posh lounge, a stocked bar runs across one corner of it, the center has a collection of couches and a hub of large televisions. A wall is dedicated to a dining area, smoking and non. Stairs lead up to a higher level, overlooking the bottom one with a wrap around balcony, elevators are also an option. another corner houses a library, holding ancient looking tomes. All across the walls are paintings of old men and woman with plaques underneath, and mounted heads of creatures you wouldn't think existed. The rooms is all decorated black and wine red. The lighting is dim, comfortable and classy. A large screen of touch input is mounted next to the bar, it holds lists of "requests" and "missions" with different colors and markings next to them. This is the guild.

This RP is probably exactly what you think it is. A modern fantasy setting, with characters capable of magic going on quests made by either me or other players. You are to have a lot of freedom with characters, and are to create an interesting tapestry of intertwining stories. We will play out plot lines of your creation, but I have major events planned as well.

2. Standard guild rules apply, no godmod, no powerplay, no auto hit. You know the deal.

My characters:
Appearance: Short in stature and youthful in appearance, the current guildmaster looks more like a child who wandered in by accident. A messy bob down to nearly her chin she has a head of straw gold hair. Soft grayish-blue eyes like a oncoming storm are set in her face, they seem to tell stories of all of time. Her nose has a soft curve to it, and her face is heart shaped. She is usually completely shrouded by a cloak of faded yellow, it is tattered and worn but she seems to not dare part with it. A gloved right hand has a magic circle on it's back, and another on it's palm. It glows a faint blue. She is almost five feet tall. (But don't bring up height around her.)
Name: Everyone seems to call her "The fourth" and she is perfectly content with just that.
Age: Looks to be around 12 to 14 at the most. But her eyes tells a much different story.
Gender: Female.
Personality:
M-Abilities: Uses a wide array of magic, though seems to prefer body enhancements (become stronger and aster) and light magic. A master in her own regard.
Abilities: An excellent potion maker, decent cook, and atrocious singer.
Gear: The clothes on her back and an old pocket watch.
M-Drive: An "M-Drive" is an attribute one person may have. It is a latent ability that only one person may ever have. While some may be similar, they can never be exactly the same. The "M-Drive" may be a physical item only the owner can use, or a sort of magic only that person can use. The 4ths M-Drive is her glove, and it allows her to teleport a small collection of time to her. Make sure not to be overpowered, and the more niche the better, mine is honestly a little generic.
Hobby: Reading, especially on rainy days.
Other: Seems quite secretive, and yet open at the same time. Thinks of the guild members as her family. Willing to die for them at the drop of a hat. A mother hen, she is in one sense revered, and in another treated like a sister or daughter by some, and yet still like a mother to most.

Appearance: Standing at 5'6 they have a toned figure, not exactly tough looking, but not a complete twig. They have broad shoulders and an olive complexion. A squarish jawline they have bright purple eyes of shocking color, which are usually hidden behind shades. They wear a gray shirt with a black jacket over it. Their black hair is combed back and their jeans are ripped at the knees. They have their ears pierced and usually are wearing simple dark colored studs. Wear black converse with white socks. Has two small moles under their left eye. Has a small flat nose.

Gender: Male
M-Abilities: Uses crystal magic. Obtains a wide variety of effects by charging magic crystals with their own magic energy.
Abilities: Has become quite good at surviving in the wild. Strong swimmer. Long distance runner.
Gear: A small backpack containing their wide array of crystals, as well as some survival gear. An extendable metal pole that has adjustable sockets at each end for crystals. An old touch phone (doesn't want to upgrade) and a pair of die. (His lucky ones)
M-Drive: Justin's M-Drive is his own eyes. If he is to keep eye contact with someone for a set amount of time, he can give them "rules" to follow for a few minutes. An example of this is "No fighting" So while someone may want to fight, they won't be able to. Of course this is taking for Justin, and he can only do it if holding steady eye contact for a good length of time. The effected is also able to fight off this effect if they are strong willed and have a good magic energy.
Hobby: Loves throwing darts. Decent at origami.
Other: Has been with the guild for almost a year now.

Current quests:
Wolves to the east: A small group of werewolves are running renegade in the rural countryside. They need to stop.
Smells fishy: A group of city workers have spotted a large creature in the sewers. It is currently unsafe for them to do their jobs because of it, lend a hand.
Old fashioned witch hunt: A coven has recently declared war on the guild. We need to put them in their place.
*Please note these would seem a little difficult for new members. Hence all our characters are to form a team. Whether they simply get along, want to lend a hand or are forced into it by The 4th. It is to happen. :D
