Personally on the exp thing I think it might be nice to have a reference to how much enemies were giving but maybe not heavily enforced. I think leveling should come with the flow of the rp, rather than something that everyone has to keep up with continuously. So long as somebody isn't just miraculously leveling up while barely doing anything or progressing too quickly, I think it would be fine.

Just my two cents. Either system I could work with. :)
