Joey eventually let Yugi go and nodded. "That's just because you're on a whole other level Yug'."

"I agree. It's fun to see your friends and other people duel. I haven't had a proper duel in months. I've let Yugi take the spot light." Yami says.

Seto smiles at that. "Oh? And what would have been if you had won then?" He asks Mokuba, intrigued by what his answer would be.

Mokuba smiled and said “if I won…you would have had to team up with Joey in a team duel…”

Yugi smiled as they turned the corner and saw the hospital in view. “Ya…I guess…”

Serena smiled and heard Mokubas bet and had to stop and cover her mouth to stop her laughing. “Oh kid that’s cold…and hilarious”

Seto had to admit that it would have been a better he would have tried to win with that be if he lost. He would not have liked it but he would have honored it. "Glad that bet wasn't placed then."

"The world would want to see that duel." Yami chimed in.

Yugi turned and said “I don’t mind letting you take my place Seto if you really want”

Serena turned into Yamis chest fighting not to laugh. Mokuba smiled darkly at Seto

Seto glared at his brother unamused by his idea. "Don't not encourage my brother you two." Having glared at Yugi and Yami both.

Yami laughed as he held onto Serena so he could brace her and make sure they both didn't fall.

Joey was ready to retaliate. "Ain't no way in teaming up with Kaiba!"

Yugi said “but your decks would work together. Think about it seriously” he walked away leaving that thought with both men. Serena sighed and said “Yugi has a point if you look at both your styles…”

Joey and Seto looked to each other as if trying to figure out what they didn't see from this that everyone did between their decks.

Yami too could see the relation to the decks and nodded to the two. He loosens his hold on Serena to where his arm was around her waist.

Duke sighed as Ishizu walked by them and said “your deck both use the same level of lucky and creativity and would balance well off each other.” Odion nodded as he passed as well.

Serena smiled and put her hand on top of his. Yugi watched them and said to whoever was close “I’m surprised how cool Yami is about this…I figured he would be a bundle of nerves around Serena in the open”

Kaiba and Joey looked to Ishizu before themselves again. They glare at each other before Joey put a hand out toward Seto. "Just this once." Joey concedes. Seto looks at Wheeler's hand before sighing. "Fine. This once." He takes his hand for a quick shake before they let go.

Marik wondered that too. "Could be that he feels the rush of excitement of being in a relationship he'll probably feel it later." He theorizes.

Yami looks to their hands in surprise before smiling. He was surprised but let it be. His heart soared at this as they got closer to the hospital.

Yugi watched Yami and said “no…because his finally with her in the open. I bet he never got to be with her like this in the past…they had to hid it…I bet only Seth and Mahad knew…”

Serena looked at him and said “don’t be so shocked…I want to show you off…”

Marik nodded. "I believe so. Even there was so little knowledge about the kind of relationship the Pharaoh and the Shadow had. I'm just glad they are together."

Yami blushed madly upon hearing such words and for that left him speechless. All he could do was look forward as he found it hard form words but never pulled his hand away.

Yugi frowned a moment and asked “why do you think she was kept a secret this whole time? Why would past Yami want to hide the truth?”

Serena smiled as they walked into the doors and she glanced back at Seto “any idea where the riders and Drake are?”

Marik shrugged. "I wish we knew. I'm sure there was a reason though."

"They should be on the second floor." Seto stated as he went to the receptionist to confirm what he was reported.

He walks back to the group after confirming his report. "Let's go." He then leads them to the elevator to take them to the second floor.

Yugi worried what that reason was when they walked inside following the others into the building.

They follow Seto up to the second floor and Serena walked onto the floor first and sensed the area before saying “alright we are all set. Let’s go”

When Serena gave the all clear, the group continued to follow Seto through the hospital till they reached the room the riders were in. "Drake is in the next room." Seto knocks on the door waiting for the riders answer.

There was a moment then the door opened and Alister stood there his head wrapped and so were his ribs. “Oh hey guys. Come on in. Valon just got back from getting his head scanned”

Raph was in bed reading a book while valon was trying to move to sit up with a sling and his shoulder wrapped and his leg in a cast. Ralph’s ribs were wrapped as well and so were his forearms. Valon had his chest with a bandage over the wand attack injury with a cooling gel on it.

Walking in, the group scatters as Kaiba especially goes to the window and keeps a look out. Yami looks to each of them. "How are you all holding up?" He asks them.

Raph nodded and said “better now. Valon has been cleared. But he can’t leave till the pins come out of his leg. I’m good just need to be careful with the cracked ribs. Alister needs to watch his concussion.”

Serena sat on the spare bed and said “you guys need to let yourselves heal”

Yami smiled. "I'm glad you are all alright. Can you tell us what happened?" He asks. He knew he asked them about it before, but just incase something could have not been said that needed to wait.

Raph said “we had gone back to the warehouse while you guys were in the portal to get some gear in case things went wrong. But when we got to that spot we were ambushed by the Brotherhood. It wasn’t even a duel, it was a full on war. We handled the best we could and they took off when that shadow showed up but…we got lucky.”
