Bio: Rethea was born and raised under the name of ‘Yurume on the planet of Sangheilios, a year before the Human/Covenant war. As a youngling her father, away and serving for the Covenant, wished for her to be married to a male of another estate, and arranged for her to be united with a young boy from a family near them. His name was Kal ‘Mdama; distant relative of Jul ‘Mdama.
Rethea was kept at home and guided to be the perfect wife. She was introduced to her future husband at a young age and they grew to be close friends.
But, as she grew older, Rethea proved to be quite the stubborn girl. She took to the ways of the warrior despite her father’s wishes, and secretly took training from one of her keep's elders. She later refused to marry Kal; much to the disappointment of her family. He shared her disagreement of the marriage and stated that he merely wanted to remain her friend and comrade.
Rethea’s father still serving under the command of the Covenant, was angered, but too far away to ‘bring his daughter to her senses’.
When she reached adult hood, Rethea was one of the first females to ever receive the rank of Honor Guard Ultra (A.K.A "Light of Sangheilios).
Serving as one for many years she led Sangheilios’ finest guard, and was well known.
It was at the occurrence of the Great Schism, when her father was murdered and her marriage to Kal was finally dismissed.
She, and half of her family, chose to join the Arbiter Thel ‘Vadam and his seperatists. The other half, and the entire ‘Mdama estate, chose to follow the Storm Faction and its leader Jul ‘Mdama.
Surprisingly, Kal was not among them. He instead chose to remain with his childhood friend and stand with the Arbiter.
Two years after the end of the Human/Covenant war, the Arbiter came to Rethea requesting that she go on a diplomatic mission to the human colony planet “Aurora”. She was to protect two Human and Sangheilios Ambassadors, accompanied by a warrior of her choice and two humans assigned to aid her in the protection of their charges.
For the guard that was to aid with her mission, Rethea chose Kal. At this time he was a major in the Arbiter’s command, and a fine warrior.
Although honored to be chosen for this mission and grateful for the time with her childhood friend, Rethea was disgruntled.
Because she was born on Sangeilios she had never seen a human in person before. But due to their race’s history, she wasn’t quite prepared to trust them, much less work beside them in a friendly matter.
Personality: Rethea is confident and a tad stubborn, but extremely caring of her loved ones. She can be brave to a fault and never gives up.
Skills: Accustomed to all Covenant firearms, Rethea is also skilled with both the Energy Staff and Sword. Close combat is her forte.
Family/Loved ones: Mother and Father both died at the occurrence of the great Schism. Her only friend is Kal.

Bio: Kal was born a few years before the Human/Covenant war, but was lucky enough to have never been recruited into the army of the Covenant.
At the young age of two he was arranged to be married to Rethea ‘Yurume, and was introduced to her when he was a toddler.
As they grew they became close friends, but never anything more. When she defied her father’s plans and became an Honor Guard Ultra, their difference in ranking went against the arrangement of their marriage. The Great Schism was when it was officially canceled, much to their relief.
While his family chose to join Jul ‘Mdama in the Storm faction he left them to serve under the Arbiter and the separatists. He became a Major, and when Rethea came to him to request that he aid her in a mission, he was quick to accompany his friend.
Personality: Kal is a rather quiet soul, but around Rethea he is open and talks often. He obeys orders and goes with the flow.
Skills: Is a master of all Covenant weapons, and has been familiarlizing himself with human firearms after the war.
