At the end of the day he's really just getting fleshed out as being Lawful Neutral, as I said on my character sheet. There's rhyme and reason to all of his actions (lawful) and he has some empathy for his fellow humans, but at the end of the day he cares more about himself and his advancement than he does for them. So while not an evil sadist, he's far from altruistic.

He's a tyrant in that he's willing to silence opposition, but it's not like he's enslaving them like Vestec's good ole pal, or oppressing those that are more complacent.

How could you not join a guy like that, especially when Vestec's tribe is enslaving all other humans and they have dragons (that apparently the Strong Tribe can kill...).

Really I think it'd make sense if you just said they moved their village over near Ialu's lush riverland so that they could join his kingdom for mutual protection. He'd be the obvious guy to go to for that.

I don't think Ialu could willingly unite most southern tribes, if he's not close to the northern part of Arguillia. Not opposed to the idea of another kingdom being ready for Viscardi and his brothers, but Ialu will have to take a more..violent approach.

Viscardi isn't going to be expanding much during the next thirty years. He's going to be primarily holding down the fort and making an army to invade the south, making alliances with the corrupted Cimex(and Uri), upgrading his walls, towns, and weapons(With the help of two corrupted Arma Igna). Taking over the north is a bit easier than taking over the South.

Vestec has been to occupied to make the Cimex plans go less smoothly. I'll fix that next post. THERE SHALL BE TWO CIMEX KINGDOMS I SAY! Uri will be visited...and then the Mer Men.

It is not the only way, but it stands to reason that one in a position of ruling would have much more power than one who is not, and thus Ialu is that much closer to achieving his divine destiny. He may be cruel ruler, yes, but it is the price that must be payed for him to ascend.

TBH it's not going to be that much of a fight. The Dyun are largely wiped out. Between the Endless Winter, the Endless Darkness(and the monsters that came with it), and their basic intelligence, most of the Dyun died.
