So I've been rewatching Inuyasha recently and I would love to do an Inuyasha inspired RP set in warring states period Japan.
The basic plot would be a small group (3-4) traveling the country fighting demons and a main villain to interfere with their plans. I don't have specifics because I would like to talk this out and create something together!

I keep romance PG-13 but violence and cursing are fine.
I also prefer to play my main character as a female but I can pick up side male characters.

Thirdly what basic character ideas do you have? I'd like to get an idea of what our groups balance of abilities and gender would be. Not that it really matters just curious

I was thinking of a human female as my main or maybe a yuki onna

I could also pick up a playful fox spirit as a secondary

The character I was wanting to use I actually made for another game that never got off the ground but really fits into a Inuyasha sort of setting. She is a Human female, A shrine maiden turned swords woman/demon-hunter after her shrine was destroyed by demons.

As for your earlier thing about not knowing how the thread and stuff work here I'd be willing to act as your Co-GM and set up the thread for you, you would just have to send me what you would want the first post to contain in terms of like set up, rules, character sheet, ect.

Okay friends!

So I was also thinking we could discuss plot.
I'm thinking the general idea would be something about the group of heroes is traveling across the country to find the main villain who has wronged all of them in some way. They end up joining together and fighting lesser demons on the way.
The main villain I'm thinking will be a demon of chaos, the kind that just wants to watch the world burn and as a bonus is looking for anyway to be more powerful

I'm open to suggestions on anything

That plot idea works with my character, who's primary plot is that a demon attacked her shrine to steal the artifacts they guarded ( spoilers about my character I guess )
