Super Boring
Marcia Hernandez, better known by the city's people as Volt Girl, had no desire to hide her identity or where she lived. Even as such, most people left her alone and didn't crowd outside of her apartment like madmen. Her career hadn't long since started, and the dangers of being so open with her identity hadn't yet sunk in. Often times, people would donate things to her, including money and furniture. She enjoyed living a lavish life of never having to do more than occasionally fight crime alongside two other superheroes who had taken caution and hidden their identity. Because of her appearance and figure, she was adored, more so than her comrades.
One day soon after successfully annihilating two well-known villains by the names of Rogue and Poison, a young boy stood at her door, buzzing the doorbell. He claimed his name was Grant Hiro, and that his parents had been killed in a car accident a year ago. He showed her his control over electricity, being able to shoot bolts from his hands, among other things. He asked to be her apprentice. With a smug grin on her face, she agreed.
Some two years later, Grant awoke one morning to find himself alone in the apartment. He searched everywhere for Volt Girl to no avail. So, the only thing left to do was wait. He waited a full year before he decided that Volt Girl would not be returning. As such, he felt an obligation to take her place.
Thus, another super boring tale about an orphaned hero was born.
